This is the first I've ever saw her in an interview post Dallas. Charlene is so funny and personable! She could have a talk show. I would definitely watch her.
@@skibunny1631 I said she still looks great , as in... "up to and including the present or the time mentioned; even now (or then) as formerly." So, she STILL looks great.
What a joy to see Charlene on the Tamron show. I loved seeing Charlene on Dallas. She was one of my favourite characters and what a great actress she is. I am wishing Charlene the very best for now and the future 🙏
Thanks for mentioning the night it was on, because I didn't know. I didn't watch it, so assumed it must have been on Sunday night or Wednesday night, when it would have been because of church.
Charlene Tilton was so good as Lucy Ewing Cooper on “Dallas” Seeing her here now is like a time capsule!! Wow how the yard really do go by. I was a young teenager totally enthralled with watching Dallas & Knots Landing in the 1980’s. It’s so wonderful too see Charlene still recognized still happy and full of vivacious life. Always loved her. She’s a beautiful woman. 😊😊😂
I never knew any of this about Charlene Tilton. I was 10 years old when I watched the pilot episode of "Dallas". I was hooked and watched all of it to the end and the reunions, etc. I hope she is on a good path and fortune hands her a good hand.
Charlene...you have helped me immensely, with my struggle...my daughter has paranoid schizophrenia. It is a hell of a disease that can devastate a family. No one talks about it, and if they did, we could all recognize the symptoms so much faster...seek treatment and deal with the psychosis. Keep bringing the light, it's really, really hard to accept the diagnosis
Oh, Michelle. I know how devastating it can be and how hopeless you must have felt at times. I can’t even imagine if it was my daughter struggling with it. I wish you and your daughter peace in the future. Take care
It's not an illness it's aliens communicating with certain members of society. Have you never wondered why all the "sufferers" have the exact same symptoms? Hearing voices and being told to do things that are evil? It's not a coincidence. Your daughter has been implanted with a mind probe.
such a legend so beautiful i can’t even imagine seeing her mother like that faith can shine light in the darkest places you find the strength to keep going she is such a great actress and woman
*What a delight to be in the company of THE Charlene Tilton! The beautiful and talented Tamron conducted a wonderful, insightful interview. I also appreciate the fact that the staff located some rarely-seen photographs which were displayed in the background. Could "The Tamron Hall Show" PLEASE bring Charlene back soon?!?!*

Love Ms. Charlene Tilton. It's wonderful to see her. She looks great. And "Dallas" is one of my all time favorite shows and Lucy Ewing is one of my all-time favorite tv characters.
I remember doing homework before leaving school with my friends so we could watch Dallas! I thought she was the prettiest girl on t.v. So glad to see her now.
Im reliving the experience of watching Dallas when I was a kid I didn't understand much of it because I was a kid but now I'm rewatching the entire series and I'm learning a whole lot
My heart goes out to Charlene in such a big way. I never knew a well mother. My mother was shuffled from doctor to hospital over and over for all of my formative years and then some. Some for physical ailments, some for mental. Never having benefitted from a successful diagnosis. Later in her years after 46 yrs of marriage, my dad left, (after numerous affairs), myself and my brother took over her care until she became so disabled with chronic pain and base-line dementia that necessitated her around the clock care of an inpatient nursing home care facility. The hardest decision of my entire life. Especially since they had to shuffle her from facility to facility because of bed availability around my state. Everyone: love, communicate with, and visit your mothers and dads to pieces while you can and while they know who you are. Otherwise, you will regret it for the rest of your life.
A true story of determination despite the odds!! We had no idea of all that had happened to the person. Also, the Sidney of a great interviewer is that she’s actually listening to the guest - loved when she ditched the questions and let her speak. I have seen that increasingly less in recent years. Great interview
My husband and i just finished the whole series on FreeVee. I watched it the first time in high school! I always loved Charlenes Zingers to UNCLE JR at the dinner table! I always Loved her beautiful hair.. Great to see her doing so well.
I was a kid when Dallas was on. I remembered watching with my grandma but I did not understand what it was I was watching. Fast forward to 2024, um 42 yrs old and just started watching the Dallas series. I’m on season 2 and when I tell y’all IT IS SOOO GOOD!!! Just as good as it was in the 80s and still very relevant! I encourage anyone who’s looking for a good watch (younger generation who isn’t aware of the familiar) watch DALLAS!! It’s so good, so juicy, so scandalous!!! Lucy is and was soooo beautiful back then! She was so messy to but in an addicting, fun, sexy way. You do get her and could relate! She is what we call a hot ass mess!!! I love this show. I’m 42 now and can understand and appreciate what it was my grandma was enjoying when I was a kid! I love the nostalgia of it. It reminds me of those good times with my granny who has gone on to glory!!!
I had never heard about her childhood before. How she pulled herself up and out of that situation at age 17 is remarkable. Loved her on Dallas! Good luck to you forever, Charlene.
My teens years I grew up on Dallas..... LOVED Dallas!!!! When my husband and I came back from his tour in Japan, our youngest two were born in 1988 and 1990 in Nebraska where he was stationed at Offutt. Friday night became "Dallas Family Night". I made caramel butter popcorn for our evening viewing of Dallas.
Charlene is a sweet and beautiful talent .I am happy she has done so well in overcoming the adversity. She was in the right place at the right time to break out of that life.
Charlene is blessed with beauty, brains and the most gorgeous hair I have ever seen. We tried to get our hair silky and bouncy like she had. She is a survivor and so happy she was a go getter to land Dallas. She made Dallas complete. She did a J.R. move to get a peek at the script.😂 She was perfect for Lucy. She was close with Larry Hagman. The show was great for her in her young life as she was surrounded by wonderful, kind cast mates that looked out for her and gave her guidance. I wished Dallas wrote Lucy into Ewing Oil business as the show progressed. She was a talented actress, but overlooked. They didn't write much for her character after she and Mitch got divorced..then married again. It was just about finding a man for her. Charlene could handle more and better writing. Seemed Dallas writers wanted to keep her in a teen like role. Glad to see her acting again. Will definitely watch her in her new role. There were a few favorite episodes where she and Linda Gray made us belly laugh. Fun times! Glad she is well! ❤
Charlen was so beautiful and didnt have a great up bringin she is still amazing no bitterness with this wonderful person she is a true christian god bless her even more love her from across the pond❤❤😅😊
Great to see her looking great and doing well. My family members and I were serious Dallas fans. I remember Lucy had an affair with Ray Krebs, the ranch hand who we later find out is her Uncle. Jock Ewing's illegitimate son. That show was scandalous back in it's day😂 She was GREAT in that role.
So for the last few weeks I have been watching Dallas on Prime. I’ve been having a blast watching the series. It’s my nightly ritual. So glad to see that Charlene is being remembered and recognized.
Me too.
While she is STILL ALIVE 🎉🎉🎉❤ HER
why? It's just another story and she even had celebrity and stardom for a very short time ... She was blessed.
She was JR’s niece not daughter, she was Gary’s daughter
Right , I was like Jr wasn't her dad 😂.
Tameron's staff Lazy
@@hsbthree 😂🤣😅
She’s wasn’t Val’s daughter was she?
@@curtismichael4703 yes she was both Gary’s and Val. I think J.R. Paid Val to leave her when she was a baby because Gary had a drinking problem
Charlene is THE nicest person. Everyone that knows her says the same thing. She has a heart of gold.
-#cheers-- !-
She is a sawed off loser, in real life and her character Lucy was always failing. She is nothing but a bump in the road.
Dallas used to be one of my favorite shows. She’s aged well. Gorgeous ❤️. 💔You never ever truly know what others are going through.

What amazing resilence!
Dallas was one of the best shows...my mother and I watched it together every Friday night.
It was so good!
