I am Japanes. I am impressed with this player. Already l have heard this same music played by variois players. At least 20percent better than any other japanes players. Deeper history, range of expression, unification of fhrases. I was greatly impressed by his skill. Thank you so much.

I played the piano a few times for various flautists playing this Sonata. I think the second movement is one of the most beautiful melodies ever written! (When I visited the famous cemetery in Paris, I remember going 'inside' Poulenc's 'grave'. It's got a small building above ground with a door! I knocked, but he didn't answer!) As an organist, I love his Organ Concerto for Strings and Percussion too! Genius!
This is one of my favourite interpretations of thisss. The first mvt sounds like how my teacher plays and teaches me it, I’ve found some other versions to be a tad fast but i love this one
