I was one of the only people who suspected both V and Urizen were gonna be Vergil before the final trailer was released.
V used DMC1 bosses as familiars, his hair could turn white which is a sign of demonic possession/heritage in japanese culture, his "name" was V, and his song's name "Crimson Cloud"- an obvious reference to Mundus.
Urizen looked reminiscent of Vergil's DMC4 DT, had Yamato, had an arm that reminded me of Devil Bringer, and sounded like Vergil.
So I figured that they'd both end up being Vergil somehow, because DMC and Vergil is Vergil. I saw enough hints that I felt both theories would end up true, Urizen was Vergil and so was V. And, I was right.
