  • Welcome to our review of Bryan's Spanish Cove, a hotel with condo-style accommodations not too far from all the fun at the Walt Disney World Resort. In this video, we're going to do a quick walkthrough of the room and talk about the pros and cons of choosing this as your home away from home during your next vacation.
Of course, if you'd like to see a full walkthrough of the room, where we go through all of the details in depth, you can do that by watching our room tour HERE:

Overall, we thought that this room was pretty great for the price and location. However, there were some major drawbacks to staying at this hotel. Of course, it's not the type of place that is going to offer you the same amenities that you'd get from some other major hotel chains. That means no transportation. There also isn't any on site food to purchase aside from some vending machines, so this is literally more of a home away from home than it is an actual hotel-like experience.
There are more things that we discuss in this video, we hope that you'll take a watch and share some of your thoughts in the comments as well.

This video was so helpful! Thank you. We are staying this winter. Definitely concerned about the privacy so top floor for us it will be. We are taking two teens. So I’m also concerned that the pool will be too busy to enjoy. What do you think?

Hi Judy! I'm so glad that you found this video helpful. We think that this is a great budget friendly choice, especially if you'll be traveling with teens who would enjoy a little more space to themselves. I definitely think going with a top floor is a good choice for that extra privacy. As far as the pool is concerned, it's definitely on the small side. I don't have dimensions, unfortunately, but it's more along the lines of something you'd expect to find at a motel versus at a resort. In our opinion, this can make it feel a bit crowded, even if there are only a few families in the pool. Of course, whether or not this is going to be a problem is going to depend on your family. I know some teens are more timid than others and some want to play in the pool rather than sit and soak. I'd describe this more as a soaking environment versus a swimming or playing environment. That having been said, there are some activities that they can do out on the lake that might scratch that "being active at the resort" itch that the pool doesn't. So that's something to keep in mind as well.
I will say though, the resort did reach out to me in a comment saying that they are doing renovations that will be completed in December. That being the case, it might be a good idea to give them a call and find out if that will impact your stay in any way. I honestly do not know what they are doing or if it will include the outdoor areas, so it might be worth the call so you don't end up not having access to something you're looking forward to.
If you have any other questions, feel free to let us know. If not, we hope you have an amazing trip!

Wow!! I’m so thankful I found your video. We will probably be coming back from Disney or Universal most the nights so they will be fine with just soaking, I’m sure. 😊 I think if we have time I’d enjoy the kayaks. I really appreciate the renovation heads up. We will be calling to check on that!
The only other question I have is, would you recommend a grocery store close by? We will more then likely have our breakfast, snacks, and some dinners there.

@@judydunn5681 There is a grocery store within about 10 minutes called Winn-Dixie. I think that this will be your best bet. The address is: 11957 South Apopka Vineland Rd Orlando, FL 32836
It's right up the road and easy to get to. I also recommend taking the time to download the Winn-Dixie App and creating an account. This will give you access to some great deals and coupons.
There is also an Aldi nearby: 11601 Regency Village Dr Orlando, FL 32821
It's also about 10 minutes down the road and is a great option if you're thinking about checking out Disney's Character Warehouse at the Premium Outlets because it's so close. This is a place where you can get Disney Parks merchandise at steep discounts. The address is: 8200 Vineland Ave Orlando, FL 32821
I hope this helps and we're glad you found our video too! Have a great day!
