@@EpicFamilyQuests I had a terrible childhood, just awful but I’m making up for it in my adulthood by doing things like Disney, taking my brother etc and life is awesome but it’s hard to listen to people who have no idea what poverty is complaining about all the things they’re able to do. If your into big thrills I have to add Zipline adventures in Ocala! That was one of the most amazing experiences of my life, we have been to florida many times and tried this for the first time a few weeks ago and wow breathtaking. For 120 dollars you do 9 ziplines over beautiful landscapes. Def worth the money and waaaaay cheaper than a day at disney
Yes! Probably even get an annual pass cheaper there if you went that much. It's just all the add ons that my kids wanted to do. 😅 We'll visit again though because it is fun.
@Aaron Wilson yes! If you can bundle them, that is the best. Universal is our favorite theme park but there are so many other great spots people forget to visit. Or don't know about. 😊 We enjoy Sea World too and Busch Gardens.

This is exactly the video I wanted. I moved to Jacksonville about a year ago. We're planning a day trip to Orlando in mid June. We'd like to do a bunch of other fun things other than the theme parks.
Not sure if it qualifies due to it's location but going out to swim with the Manatees at Crystal River has to be way up there on the list of things to do aside from the theme parks. Such an amazing experience

I saw the trainer for a day on the Gatorland website! That actually sounds terrifying 🤣 I know the gators are spoiled there and used to being fed.... but they are still wild animals. @Scarlitcorpse my mom took the kids to do that and I thought you just threw the food in the water. Honestly, I wouldn't get that close ever again or the kids now that I know. Always a risk! They do have spots to throw them in the water instead though and you are on a bridge.

To be honest, I didn't know they got so close until we went to feed them. I was terrified. Haven't fed them like that again. We just throw from the bridge down in the water. I'm sure it's safe because they are spoiled gators but you never know.
Missed one of the BEST places we discovered last month... Island H20 is an AMAZING deal! Great waterpark, fairly inexpensive, and lots of fun inside the park (especially if you have a group of 3-6 people)!

The other cool thing about DeLeon Springs is the self make pancake house that has such a nice charm and there are various canoes, kayaks, and boating options for the river that connects to the separated "pool" area
@epicfamilyquests Blue is nice. I live very close and have been there countless times. DeLeon is cool too. But the best springs are up in the Ocala NF. Alexander, Silver Glen, etc. Closer to Orlando, Kelly Park/Rock Springs gets my vote.
We are a family of 6, children ages 3,8,11,12. I went to Disney & Epcot 35-40 years ago, but times have change. This is very helpful. My wife and I have to see more of your videos to select 1-2 parks to visit in the orlando area: so far seems like IconPark, Kennedy Space Center, Zoo Wonder works, FunSpot, and Crayola Experience might be good candidates. Having said that, which of those are the most expensive? Thank you!
ICON Park is probably the most expensive but with the Play Pass for $90 each, it comes with 8 or so attractions. So you get a pretty good value buying on their site. That's a tough one. We like the food better at Medieval Times and there's a lot of battling and action. Pirates is like a musical and several parts for audience participation, especially kids (adults too). Food is just OK but both are fun. It just depends what kind of show you'd want to see. If I HAD to pick, I'd probably go with Medieval Times but the kids choose Pirates because they like the participation. Hope that helps a little!
I live in Florida!! I would love to visit and travel to all the places that I would enjoy going to. Right now the reason why I am not is because I am not independent enough and am stuck in my parents house. I barely go out at times only to like therapy. I wish I had my license, it would mean the world to me if I was independent and get to do all the things I want. I want to live and experience life to its fullest. I want to do all the things that would make me happy like traveling, going on vacations, anywhere fun that I would be interested in.
I was like you as a teenager, then adult realities hit me like a ton of bricks. Do well in school to learn a skill so you can get a good paying job and do the things you want to do, best wishes.
I really hope you can travel and visit these places one day. Take one day at a time and focus on your dreams. 💖 My dream is to travel outside of Florida. We can all get there in time.

@paterson00 I already did. If you look at my latest videos, you'll be able to tell. Got it 3 months ago I believe. So working on a new list once I refilm with the gimbal. But when you're on a single income, $300 is a lot. So doing my best.
@EpicFamilyQuests Most definitely. Outside of spending time with family, I was utterly disappointed with Ripley's. The exhibits are cheap looking and poorly done.
It's technically an amusement park. Fun Spot is very similar to a state fair plus go karts. Basically I was trying not to include the big theme parks like Disney, Universal, Legoland and SeaWorld. They have fun theming that immerses you in the different lands. Fun Spot does not.
The closest one is Fun Spot. But that isn't in the spotlight like the others. I'm giving options other than Disney, Universal, Legoland, SeaWorld and Busch Gardens. I don't know how you think the others, besides Fun Spot, are theme parks. 🤔 What exactly do you expect to find in Florida? You can search Best Swamps if you'd like 😅
I cannot please everyone with just 10 suggestions. We've enjoyed them all as a family and in this Florida heat, indoor activities are sometimes a relief.

What do you think a good age range on WonderWorks is? My nephew is 10 and 2 adults.
10 is a great age honestly! Both my kids (6 and 8) loved it! If the adults are like big kids, they will love it too. Lots to do there!

When you are back in the area you should check out Apex Air Tours. new company, and have a big helicopter that flys over all the resorts

Ripley's Believe It or Not was a waste on time and money. I definitely would not compare it to Wonder Works.

@EpicFamilyQuests Most definitely. Outside of spending time with family, I was utterly disappointed with Ripley's. The exhibits are cheap looking and poorly done.
I can understand that. I thought Wonder Works needed an upgrade too in some areas.

How is fun spot not a theme park? 🤷🏻♂️
It's technically an amusement park. Fun Spot is very similar to a state fair plus go karts. Basically I was trying not to include the big theme parks like Disney, Universal, Legoland and SeaWorld. They have fun theming that immerses you in the different lands. Fun Spot does not.
It's a long way to go for skin cancer and a Slurpy. I think I'll pass.

I cannot please everyone with just 10 suggestions. We've enjoyed them all as a family and in this Florida heat, indoor activities are sometimes a relief.

dezerland is so lame, empty and huge waste of space in Orlando
I don't mind the arcade and pinball, BUT it's overpriced. We didn't do a lot because of the prices.

Gatorland especially and Dezerland. Arcade Monsters is pay once to play all day though. Love supporting them.
