@Jxdrift97 I love the exterior looks, seat's and transmission. Standard safety features are nice, audio system sounds really good, engine is proven reliable. Not too sure on the 2 screen layout, sure I can get used to it though. Test drove it a few times and liked the way it drove. Performance Red Pearl is my color of choice
Bought my 2019 ILX 10/19/22. Primarily work remote, drive around town and such. Took her on her 1st road trip (6 hr drive) and it performed/handled the road on some tight mountain roads very well. Car sat for 6 days and when time came to leave, had a dead battery. Car just turned to 20,000 miles. Jump started and electronics went haywire (every system failed then after driving about 20 minutes, the flashing “system failure” lights stopped and tested the battery at Les Schwab about 3 hours after driving and it was perfect. Called dealership and they wanted $175 to scan car to check for malfunction. Has anyone else out there had this battery issue?Loving my car but don’t want to worry about a dead battery if I don’t drive it daily. I like the dual screen for map/camera and audio separate. Thank you!
The ILX has a tiny battery. It’s nothing to be concerned with. Even if you leave your car sitting for a couple days you’ll notice it doesn’t start up quickly like it normally would. But if you drive it daily you’ll have no issue. I recommend not using the electronics for a long time while the engine is off and always carrying a jump starter pack so you can always jump start your car on your own if needed.
The drivetrain is perfect. The only major problem is the infotainment. It’s so dated. Are they trying to be a Mitsubishi or Nissan? Guess what’s happening to them. Honda should not be beating Acura when it comes to leading tech.
Have had a 2019 ILX for coming on two years. Very little problems, and when it did the Acura dealership took care of me. No major problems, still drives like the first day I got her. I love the ILX.

Oh nooo. I like the red with black exterior. Would that make it better or do you find it still tacky? Going to see in person this weekend.

Only 1 thing to know about this "new" ILX...its a dated honda civic with newer styling.
Correct.
I'd trust that 2.4 engine long before the current Civic 1.5 problem child.
Which is a good thing.
Waiting for the 2020 ilx, they better have updated that lame interior
I own the 2022 no they haven’t 💀😭
What happened to you Acura?? Nobody seems to buy you anymore
How about don’t buy it!
Oh god it’s horrible...Consumer Reports that the ILX has a lot of technology problems...
What problems are you referring too?
