Show Jorah was my favourite character until book Jorah came along, who is an even more melancholic figure.
Now I ain’t saying she’s a gold digger but…
No she’s very rich herself lol. Her family controls the main bank in Westeros. Her sister is married to mace Tyrell
Seeing how unreliable Jorah is, I’m not sure how much of his “it was all her fault!” story I believe

GRRM writes women very realistically.
If you think it represents women as a whole then you should probably look inward. Showing off wealth and being an arrogant dick only attracts gold diggers and teenage-minded women.
He writes men talking about women pretty realistically
He writes human characters, try not to let sex define them for you
