It may sound rude, but at end selfish ones win.. It's more of priorities than being selfish.. it's better to be selfish with what you want to do and invest your time and energy... Because once time is gone and as she said in the example as well then later you regret not taking that chance..selfish is better than regretting later.. Wese bhi nobody cares at the end you have to live the consequences of your choices , so better you choose what's best for you.. Also we need to stop glorifying being selfless, just go with what you really want in your life because you have got only one life to live, so live it the way you want and do what your heart wants... I did not realize it before but due to my selfless behavior and not standing for my degree completion I am in such a low phase of my life that for the husband whom I paused my degree called me a loser and now I am at verge of divorce. Trust me, I have socially distanced myself from the moment I seriously started preparing for Judicial. And, I have often heard my family members telling me not to be socially distanced so much and attend occasions sometimes. I politely refused everytime, not because its a necessity but because my ultimate priority is to see myself as a Judge. The happiness I will have when I will achieve that goal cannot be compared to those temporary happiness I will have by attending those family gatherings or occasions. But that doesn't mean that I didn't take any break or refreshments because taking a break is only for boosting myself more with energy. So, even if someone calls me selfish or socially awkward during my struggle period, I don't mind at all....Because they will be the first ones to call me up for congratulating me.

I too relate to this a lot...I did this mistake in past but during my csir prep I ignored my family also they might have felt bad but after I got AIR 7 in CSIR UGC NET exam they were the most proud person n happiest person .But before when I used to sacrifice my study for family or friends n when I did badcin my exams neither I was happy nor they .
I was good Athlete medal at state level in just 2 year hardwork i was proggressing in my field but my father always make me down to choose sports ,he always tell me this is not good for you ,you should take a job instead this fhaltu cheeje after some months for him i leaved my sports ,and in few months i go through depression anxiety and even i started keeping my self in dark room silentely do what house works i get 3 years was hell for me then my college started and i med s pstherpist he listened me and treated me for few months then i started fitness not sports bec economical situations are not well now but i m still happy that i m prsticing fitness sometime play diffrent sports i have a sea size ( very very very much big) regreat why why i quit my sports just bec my parents dont want Duality is this of my parents they denied me to play but always encouraged my brother to play

I did not realize it before but due to my selfless behavior and not standing for my degree completion I am in such a low phase of my life that for the husband whom I paused my degree called me a loser and now I am at verge of divorce. And the same family for them I sacrificed a lot they are not admitting that I did anything for them

Trust me, I have socially distanced myself from the moment I seriously started preparing for Judicial. And, I have often heard my family members telling me not to be socially distanced so much and attend occasions sometimes. I politely refused everytime, not because its a necessity but because my ultimate priority is to see myself as a Judge. The happiness I will have when I will achieve that goal cannot be compared to those temporary happiness I will have by attending those family gatherings or occasions. But that doesn't mean that I didn't take any break or refreshments because taking a break is only for boosting myself more with energy. So, even if someone calls me selfish or socially awkward during my struggle period, I don't mind at all....Because they will be the first ones to call me up for congratulating me.

I was good Athlete medal at state level in just 2 year hardwork i was proggressing in my field but my father always make me down to choose sports ,he always tell me this is not good for you ,you should take a job instead this fhaltu cheeje after some months for him i leaved my sports ,and in few months i go through depression anxiety and even i started keeping my self in dark room silentely do what house works i get 3 years was hell for me then my college started and i med s pstherpist he listened me and treated me for few months then i started fitness not sports bec economical situations are not well now but i m still happy that i m prsticing fitness sometime play diffrent sports
i have a sea size ( very very very much big) regreat why why i quit my sports just bec my parents dont want
Duality is this of my parents they denied me to play but always encouraged my brother to play

Once a great personallity said "apne sapne ke liye apne pyar/dost/maa baap/ bhai bahen" ko chorna is not worth it:)......Meri gf bhi apne sapne ke liye mujhe choor ki gayi...mai samjhata raha usse lekin usse laga ki mere sath rah ke wo neet nahi crack par gaye..maine bola ki we will short this...time bana lenge baat krne ke liye...bahoot kaam baat krenge lekin wo nahi maani...is it worth it? jindagi bass apne bare me hi sochna success ka pahla kadam hota hai? mera kya jo maine khud ko usse attach kr liya?? jo future socha tha? mai to dono ke bare me sovh raha tha...wo sirf apne bare me:) kya jo sath rahte hai wo succesfull nahi hote?? life ka pahla heart break tha...lekin kyu hua ye...wo to itnni achhi ladki hai tap par bhi usne aissa kiya....i am not a selfish person and i will succed one day... i am 18 and preapring for my jee exam and next year is my exam...i am doing what can i do for this...and hope so the ending will be good:) and hope so my ex will also get what she want.
