    What an amazing, caring and giving man he was. He gave so much of himself, and so tragic how he was so violently killed. Given his message was of non-violence and brotherhood. He will always be remembered.🌹🙏

    • @erichall8866
      @erichall8866 3 года назад

      @R A R I understand your frustration as a staunch Republican. However, don't contradict yourself in believing that the term "racism" isn't a general term, whereas the terms or term "white supremacy" isn't. "White supremacy" is the inherent belief that the white race is superior to the to other races, which has been a historical fact. And if there's any stronger definition for the word Marxism, it would be the idealogy of white supremacy, not the black race or black Panther, as you mentioned. And if Blacks or the black Panthers ever turned towards Marxism, which isn't historically true, it would be only because their own American Democratic system has failed them, enslaving and marginalizing them.

    A lot of it's just old technologial issues. Some of the old film is just too damaged to be restored...and even some new film too - for example, when the WWE bought WCW in 2001, they went through the WCW Tape library of 1991-2001 and found that half their master tapes were in such bad quality, they never re-released the shows. This was stuff I watched live in high school, mind you.

    The tax structure has to do with whether we are better off in many arena. The welfare state argument is silly since most of the wealth is owned by the top 10% of the rich. Having a social safety net is agreed upon even by Rep. Ryan. Now, we should eliminate waste and corruption in welfare, but not ban it completely from those that need it.

    Obviously, you don't know all that much about history since the economy in the 1950's and the 1960's had much more taxation on the wealthy. The country is worse now in certain areas. Also, the country is better now than back then (like lynchings, police bruality being more overt back then, sexual suppression, etc.). King wasn't some Communist although he wasn't a perfect human being. Also, corporate crimes and reactionary policies have contributed to the problems in the USA.

    Red baiting rhetoric about social justice is silly. Social justice simply means that a human being has the right to exist in equality within the framework of justice. That isn't a sin. Slandering King as being a Communist is old since King condemned Communism explicitly. Telling the truth that J. Edgar Hoover was a lying, slandering, and civil liberties violating hypocrite is a reality.
