      This is low tide off shore mate about 2 hours out from Dampier. A place called the Jack Hole to the locals

    The temperature change,the change in ph the change in salinity those corals are truly something amazing, it’s funny how they tell to drip acclimate corals when they can withstand so much..🤔

      Definitely I could not believe where some of them were and the poor looking conditions.

    Waaaaiiiiiiit.... You saw that trachy in a place thats exposed at low tide?! I thought they were low light corals!

    • @SaltWaterSteve1
      @SaltWaterSteve1  26 дней назад

      Crazy isn’t it man
      Totally out of water in direct light at least once a month at ultra low tide

    • @tookmyhandle2
      @tookmyhandle2 26 дней назад +1

      @SaltWaterSteve1 do you also see them at depth?! The fungia were also super shallow. I've been told to keep my fungia, acans, and scolys at 100 par, but in your videos I see them in quite shallow water in direct sunlight. I'm so confused!

    • @SaltWaterSteve1
      @SaltWaterSteve1  26 дней назад +1

      @@tookmyhandle2 my fungia don’t mind flow or light.
      Then them trachy are usually 6-7m deep
      I spin out in the conditions I see some corals growing in
