      I swear they keep bashing British people for not working. My 43 year old boyfriend does not work but he is trying to start a business because yeah ok go to work until 70 and then what he will never make enough for a healthy retirement income and be worse off. He does not rely on the money from government to survive and has investments but gosh stop having a go at people because they don’t contribute to your taxation of hell…middle class is worth nothing not you end up paying 40-73% tax as soon as you make 50k to 125k and get tax to death while Rishi paid 23% last year on 2.2mil - leave people alone a bit

    Jobs aren't offered on your skills or personality, they're hired on their skin colour or religion.

    • @teriekwilliams2828
      @teriekwilliams2828 27 дней назад +2

      They're hired on the basis of productivity, and cost. A British worker wants a high wage, lots of time off, to work at their own pace and will complain at the drop of a hat. Why would a business take that when he can get 10 times the worker for 5 times less the price and none of the complaints? They don't care about your religion. They care about the bottom line.

I see others of my age who retired at 65 or earlier and they suffer from health problems that have only come on in the last few years. Which paid 80 a week over 3 years. I dont have my own home i havnt earned anything over 12.000 and thats with 5 city and guilds and 3 nvq's, majority done at night school of my own dime. University used to free up until 1989. Coincidently the same year i left school. You couldnt live of 29.50/35 a week. So i understand you're comment, but it doesnt fit this reality.

    I've got no chance of getting a job. I'm a 62 year old straight white guy who won't bow down to the woke Brigade.
    I planned to retire at 60 but politicians lost all our pension money, so now we have to work until we're 67.
    Some of us haven't sat in cozy offices our whole working life and our bodies are knackered and we're tired.
    I've been out of work since getting furloughed during covid and the company went bust.
    I try every day to find work but I live out in the sticks and don't have money for even a moped.
    Transport is my biggest drawback.
    I'm stuck and I regularly go without food for a week.

    I've read multiple comments from people saying that Brits can't get a job picking fruit because they want cheap imported labour. And ive seen a million videos and comments from over 50s who can't either. If our benefit bill is too high stop the boats 🙄

    • @solitary-sun
      @solitary-sun 27 дней назад

      Maybe you think the boats are the problem because you get your news from comments. I work at a recruiting agency and immigrants can't get jobs through us and without the correct visa. If you want a job then I can get you one. Brits don't want one, they just turn up for a day, steal all the pens and then never see them again because they qualified for benefits. They normally say they were fired but the companies are calling me begging for them to go back to work. Obviously that's a generalisation but it's closer than you think

    The point is that the undesirable jobs need to pay more. The reason they pay so low is an unlimited source of low paid workers. The problem is that the EU is right on our border and their current policy is a race to the bottom with cheap labor, so even if we tried that here, we'd be undercut.
