It was watching Cheftush restoring that TR3 that convinced that I could take on my project. It was the inspiration I needed to jump in to restoring the TR3A parts kit I was looking at. It came home in boxes of parts and a pile of body panels. Most of it was there ebay provided the missing parts.

I have had the same hood pins on my TR3A since 1971....Yes, it's white, although back then it was a light silver grey....My dash has a real wood overlay and it was always my intention to redo the center dash panel in tooled stainless steel or tooled aluminum ( some refer to it as 'jeweled' ) ....Anyway, after more than 52 years I doubt that I'll get around to it....It's been a great car with no major issues just ongoing maintenance, although I did rebuild the motor in the winter of '72/'73 , it runs 55lbs oil pressure and a little blowby....Whoever has it next can drive on or tend to what bothers them.....We've had a great run together so far, starting in Sault Ste. Marie and ending up on Vancouver Island, driving through a time when you just never saw another on the road.....

That is fantastic, such a great story and I am sure whoever get to use her next will appreciate all the things you have done. I will be one that puts my stamp on this car, some slight modifications to make it a better road car! Thanks for sharing

I’m envious that you got to meet tush, don’t think I will ever get that chance. Some good looking cars there and I’m sure your car will be among them before too long.

Great to see people getting to meet up.
We all have a lot of respect for The Chef. He gives do much to the classic car - particularly the TR movement with his videos.
Well done for catching up with him and sharing with us.
