Dragon Ball Z Kakarot Glitch - How to Free Roam as Vegito Tutorial (PS4)

- If you want to try and get Vegito, make a save with Ultimate Gohan/Piccolo/Kid Trunks right after beating regular Super Buu. After he blows up.
(Edited after 1.06, the end of scene version no longer happens, Skipping on the black screen is no longer 100%
NOTE: Doing this through the Time Machine will turn you into Goku when you switch maps. Vegito is still available through the actual story mode
After the scene with Buu looking at his tentacle, mash start as it fades to black. If the scene with Vegito's back starts fading in, skip and it will pop back up and you will control Vegito for a few moments. If the screen is still black, pause and unpause until it fades in. This will take a few tries as the newest update added a momentary black screen to random scenes.
DO NOT save the game here. Open the world map and move area. If you save then the game will play the next scene instantly when that file is loaded.
There appears to be a chance for the game to randomly save before scenes start and after they finish. This does nothing for Vegito as it loads either the absorption scene or Elder Kai/Kibitoshin.

The fact that they have dialogue recorded with both of their voices for that battle at 2:25 means that they probably either intended on putting them in and then decided not to, or that we will be able to in the future

Daniel Lail I am guessing they make update for future mechanic in the game. So the fusion can be playable. I am guessing there will be time limit for them.

Thanks for the vid. I would hope they give us Gotenks, Vegito or Gogeta in the near future. They can even add a new How-To skill to Goku, Vegeta, Trunks and Goten that allows them to Fuse outside of battle and just give it a cool down time after the battle is over forcing you to use it wisely.

Lately I've been doing 60sec battles on BT3 & I had a funny thought today about them on RB2, even though I likely won't do them at all.
I was wondering if you'd like to take a crack at it & see what you can produce? The goal of them is to be diverse as possible, preferably also stylish, no supers, unless it's for stylish purposes or your damage output is too low (especially for time-freezing Supers), & I don't know yet about air combos.
To make it even more interesting you can equip the AI w/ specific items, too.
Let me know if you're down for doing a couple of these. I don't play anymore but it'd be really cool to see what you could do on RB2 w/ 60 seconds.
I just haven't been bothered to do anything.
I'm sure we're fine. I doubt anybody near me has it. I haven't kept up with it much.
I can't get my PS3 working at the moment, won't play anything besides DVD's. Might have to find my brother's old one.

Haven’t had any luck on getting the glitch yet but is it better to force close the game entirely or get to Goku vs kid buu and reload the save from there?
The description tells you the point in the story he can be used and where to save it to keep trying
chaospunishment Ik I got the gohan save, was jus asking if you typically force close the whole game after a failed attempt and reload the save or get to the part before you encounter kid buu and reload the save...it probably doesn’t matter.
Oh, just go through the scenes and load the save
They should just have it where fusion could be a transformation or something. Maybe see what other fusion could be possible with support characters and what not and have the dance and ear ring so we have the two different types
100%. No reason to not have it be a skill like the auto transformations.
Just have Goku and Vegeta put on the earring and smash into each other when the fight starts.

Spam pause before the scene starts then skip when the pause menu comes up. It'll work eventually.

can you explain how you did it please? I mean you skipped all the scenes previous to the Vegitos absorbtion or not? im in the 1.0.4 version and it doesnt work
I like Vegito's Japanese voices better than his English voices. Though they both sound cool. Also why is that music still playing?

They could have done it for him. Most transformations don't have faces and some costumes don't have necks

Now the steps are: after the dialogue with buu thinking of merging spam the options/pause button and try and do it three times then do the rest like normal
Now the hand positions (ps4) left thumb on options and pointer on x s2: mash options and press x when it is not the third press and press ok (it may be because I am using time travel?)
Time travel stages are a little different than normal ones (Health, Damage etc) So I wouldn't be surprised if they loaded different things between scenes too.
Didn’t work for me idk what I did wrong I’ve done it 4 times and also do you have to spam the map right the absorption scene

I'll try again tomorrow to see if the patch fixed it. Gotenks appears to be fixed. Hopefully this one isn't.
For a bigger success rate. Attempt to skip as fast as possible. Still working.
chaospunishment finally got it to work...to anyone attempting it he’s right just skip the Vegito absorption cutscene as fast as you can. So fast the screen is black when it says skip.

chaospunishment so what I am doing is skipping all the cutscenes until the one where he gets absorbed and I spam the touchpad till the start and finish of the cutscene hoping a second one will pop up and at the end of that I go on the world map and go somewhere and save is this right?

As soon as you walk into Cell is the scene to do it with Super Vegeta. The fight will not start in time and you'll be able to open the map.

You skip when the scene starts to fade in while paused.

By regular super buu do you mean when you first go back after gohan gets his new outfit?
After the first fight with Super Buu as Gohan you'll get Piccolo + Kid Trunks on your team. That's where you need to save.
Is this permanent or just until you start more story parts.
If you go back to the same area the story continues as normal. There's no way to keep him.

So I went super Saiyan free roam glitch and the same thing happens when you fish but it's just your eyes and mouth.

There is a slight timing change actually, it's just off by a few frames.
The new one is Super Saiyan God Super Vegeta. The latest update un-locked Super Vegeta's transformations during free roam. (Even though you can never be him)

Skip the scene as fast as you can and it will work eventually. If you pause while the screen is still black it should work.

I did It when I was able to move vegito a-little so I knew I was supposed to use the map and I had to do it again /edit I tried doing it again and I keep failing I had it the first time if only I had pressed the map another edit I did it

It's abuses the way the game loads so I'm not sure. I don't see why it shouldn't work.
Mash start while the scene where Buu stares at his tentacle fades out then skip. If the screen was black when you paused, you got it, but it doesn't have to be black to work.

The game is messing up with these right now. The way I used to get Fighting Trunks sends me back into Vegeta.

If you do it in the actual story you still get Vegito.

You can't go through the story unless you go back to Blake Bog/Gizard Wasteland. So it goes back to normal.

If you use the time machine you will end up as Goku. So it has to be on your regular save.

Yes. Exactly what happens here, it appears to be a loading issue. Gotenks looks to have been fixed as he isn't working anymore (At least within a decent time frame)
I tested Vegito right after their loading patch and he still works fortunately.

Fixed on 1.06 by the looks of it. I'll have a few more tries.

You can skip the trigger that sends you back and do the whole story again.

Doesn't work for me, I beat Super Buu Gohan Absorbed as Vegito and start relentlessly spamming but Buu's face appears all the same and ruins it.
Because thats the wrong scene to skip, you want the one after he looks at his tentacle on the floor

Secondly, let me clear things up please read with an open mind and pretend you know basic English and Japanese r.r
In Japanese there's no "V" in the Japanese alphabet also "JI" in the Japanese alphabet is pronounced like the word "jeez" and "gi" is pronounced "g (like the words get give ect..) ee". "B" replaces "V" in the Japanese alphabet. Now with that said his name is either "Bejitto" derived from the Japanized version of Kakarot "Kakarotto" OR Vegerot. In Japanese there's is no VEGITA/VEGETA IT'S BEJITA!
If you use "Vegito/Vegetto" you mise as well use "Gojeta" instead of "Gogeta".
COMMON SENSE GRAMMER FROM BOTH JAPANESE AND ENGLISH!
And if you use "Vegito" and "Gogeta" in the same sentence you should slap yourself e.e.
If you prefer to use "Gogeta" use "Vegerot" if you prefer "Gojita" then you can use "Bejitto" stop using the "V" for the Japanese pronounciation *slaps* BAD NO! STOP THAT! e.e
