@@Adaruvideos think its mostly cause newer dbz games...especoally DbFighterZ was built for the actual FGC scene so tight fighting mechanics were key over details like this Even so,that game has cool references in the movesets themselves as the majority of character combos are direct references to anime and manga panels Also dont forget the dramatic finishes that re-create certain iconic moments
Vegitto goes into a traditional muay thai stance for his counter stance. Its a martial art from Thailand that focuses a mixture powerful leg strikes which makes sense for Vegito who primarily uses his legs.
Cause that boy was flexinnn!!!! arms crossed & everything, bro should’ve just told super buu to help him tie his hands to his back at that point 😮💨😮💨
Vegito's Counter Stance is somewhat of a Muay Thai Stance to check low kicks. In Karate, I guess its a modification of (correct me if im wrong, internet) the Cat Stance. In Muay Thai, Thailand Kickboxing, you can stop a persons kick (them swinging their shinbone at you) by raising your own shinbone to contact theirs on a wider+stronger crossection of your own shinbone, leading to their smaller weaker section of their shinbone breaking via its own force. It is a painful technique for both parties, but moreso for the Kicker. And it is also a very risky block, as it has many openings, must be timed, and must be subtle. Vegito is showing his advvanced knowledge here, its pretty neat nod to IRL martial arts! Any Martial Artists that pay attention, its clear they are using real movements for the punches and kicks, looks like Mocap to me, since Budokai 1, the same animations are used and built upon. Its really tradiionally beautiful how faithful the DBZ series is toward itself and Martial Arts IRL.

Wow this is insane, I’ve had all the Tenkaichi games since they released and never even noticed these details, makes me appreciate these games even more. The fact that the Tenkaichi stuff was all done on PS2 is also amazing because it showed how much power even the PS2 was capable of at the time. I really wish they would’ve released a remaster of Tenkaichi 2&3 like they did with Budokai because Tenkaichi was just as much of an important series to us old school DBZ fans as Budokai was because after Budokai series, Tenkaichi series kept the Dragon Ball series alive during the quiet years before DB finally returned with Battle of Gods
I agree. The PS3/360 era of DBZ games were a dark time. There were gems, like Burst Limit and RB 1 and 2. But they weren't nearly as popular as Tenkaichi and Budokai games. The games were declining in sales, and the future of dbz games wasn't looking too good. Fortunately Xenoverse turned everything around! Budokai games and especially Tenkaichi 3 kept dbz games alive during those dark times lol. Tenkaichi 2&3 heavily deserve a modern port or a remaster.

The Video was a raging blast thank you xD
This was really good, I played these back in the day and had no idea about any of these. We need more stuff like this in games again.
"Tien! SENZU BEAN!"
Cell soundin like TFS Krillin.
4:06 you forgot to mention the Naruto running 😅
Trueee, I only noticed it after publishing the video😳
That senzu bean from cell was just like TFS. My God
5:53 in legend patrol in xenoverse 2 that battle is played, and I think also in xenoverse 1 maybe a reference
I honestly believe more than half of the fun from anime based games...especially with Dragonball is all the hidden small details and references for fans to pick up on
Love seeing your channel grow too,bro
Its a shame that has been lost these past few years, right? DBZ Kakarot tried to catch some of that but I still believe there's a handful of stuff missing. Tiny little details like having to charge your spirit bomb mid-battle or having your clothes torn when you receive damage.
@@Adaruvideos think its mostly cause newer dbz games...especoally DbFighterZ was built for the actual FGC scene so tight fighting mechanics were key over details like this
Even so,that game has cool references in the movesets themselves as the majority of character combos are direct references to anime and manga panels
Also dont forget the dramatic finishes that re-create certain iconic moments
When I go over to my dad's house, we always play dragon ball budokai tenkaichi2 on his ps2 unfortunately he does not have dbbt3
That's really dope bro.
I mean, Tenkaichi 2 is a really good game. Some even consider it to be better than Bt3.
7:11 tha moment make me smile
Totally would love a deep dive into cool mechanics and stuff in the 360 games. They made so many I forgot about!
I’ve been waiting for some raging blast 2 attention! Nice to see it 😊
3:13 wait whats a kaioken x2?! Isnt that just a kaioken?
So THAT explains why Naruto had the Goku outfit in Storm 3!! I was wondering what was up with that xD
"deemed too violent"
*Cell gulping down Android 17 and 18*
Honestly Gohan having evil in his heart makes sense, man’s wanted to start torturing people once he really got into fighting 😂💀💀
That was Ssj 2 Gohan
@@TheoOJamaloO1 A Gohan by any other form is still Gohan.
2:15 It's Raging Blastin' Time! / i'm the Raging Blast.
I liked the support system in Burst Limit. The dialogue was interesting depending on the characters put together.
In Raging Blast 2, it doesn't have to be an Ultimate move to remove Dr. Gero or Android 19's hats, it can be a super move or doing combos
You talking about the evil in the characters heart was something I never knew. That’s very interesting. Amazing video 🤝🫡
4:44 I don’t know it was censored, because I remember playing DBZ BT3 in the Wii version, that Bardock did the same move in BT2 (without the censorship). Maybe different ports have different censorships?
I love this channel, don't stop to do videos of the Dragon Ball games.
Hahah appreciate it my man!
I'll do my best.
Seeing all this games of DB damn, i just think that my childhood was so great😍. Playing the Budokai tenkachi trilogy, Burst limit, even Shin Budokai for PSP...🔥
Miss those great times🙏🏿😭
Keep up with the great content, loving this channel by the minute🔥
6:47 : That's also the case of Super C-17's rifle. That thing couldn't be blocked, you had to run or hide.
I love your videos, btw! It's so nostalgic! I noted many of those details years ago, but I still discover new things too!
I love these videos keep up the good content!
Apprecaite it!
The number of these videos you've made is really making me see that these games were even better than I realized back in the day, and they were already my favorite overall series of fighting games.
Alittle side note, pikkon chiotzu and piccolo will also lose their hats if they take enough damage ,also Bardok will lose half his armor like in his mini movie if he's hit with an ultimate.
bruh post more content like this plz there’s a whole community of ppl that love these games n have that they ain’t being talked abt no more (bt3 my fav wit b3 n ttt) i saw the title of one of these vids n instantly clicked bc i knew it’d be nostalgic
yip, 4:35 Jeice is definitely from space Britain
Or is a space sniper
Who knows
Or he is space Australia
That devil man beam attention to detail is Grand theft auto level of detail holy shit that's badass.
4:56 that's kinda sus
I KNOW
that's why they censored it, not because it was too violent
8:20 I think its because kid gohan had an explosive amount of anger which is a negative emotion, that's also why the super saiyan forms take damage as well.
Gohan knowing Burning attack is actually pretty cool
Also Gohan having some evil in his heart definitely makes sense, especially after the newest movie
Well kid gohan was raised by piccolo, you know Chichi’s side piece and Gohan’s stepfather.
I’ve been waiting on somebody to catch the raging blast reference for so long now 😭
RB2 will forever be my favorite dragon ball game of all time. Too many memories
4:15 naruto (goku) was my favorite character to play back then🥲
The spirit bomb appearing in the sky SHOCKED me. Your videos are really interesting! Definitely gonna sub.
@@kadazee What amazes me about tenkaichi 3 is the AI. Honestly in hard mode it's brutal, I often find myself just watching com vs com battles and sometimes what you witness is insane
I love that you included both versions of the Final Revenger of Bardock in Tenkaichi 2 and Tenkaichi 3 here :3 4:43 I was looking for them so hard on the Internet!!!
And also the mention of the ultimate of Devilman. I wish to see a video with all the different number of damage he can deal to the different 150 characters.
0:08 he left his mouse on the screen for a little while
Lmao, nice catch. Can't believe I haven't noticed it.
The Tien/Cell bit is absolutely HILARIOUS in hindsight, and I love it.
This is great, I noticed some of these but not all of them. You give us great content
Thank you thank you! 😁
@@kadazee keep it going man, I will be trying to buy all these games again when I can.
Tbf, the destruct disc has never officially not been able to cut through people. The whole Cell thing is actually filler and not Canon at all, which makes sense since Frieza was able to get cut by the disc no problem. Or how Nappa had to avoid the attack otherwise it would slap his head off.
1:40 what is the background soundtrack?
I think the evil Gohan thing with Devilman is a reference to how if he loses control, he snaps. "Ever since a young age, I've had trouble controlling my anger." could be the reference here
6:23 tien :- 🦉🦉
"Tien, SENZU BEAN" I love that lmao. He do have Krillins dna
lmao
0:52 Left shoulder :P
Also I'd be interested to know the breakdown of "evil" damage. Who takes the most damage, how does Vegeta stack up to Frieza, etc.
Yea...don't know why I said right.
I might do that actually, a good chunk of people seem to be interested in Devilmans ranking of evil.
Gohan having a little evil in his heart makes since, when he goes SSJ2 he gets sadistic and we just recently saw that again with Gohan Beast.
Love the inclusion of other games! Great video!
I believe for Kid Gohan having some evil in him is from training with Piccolo
