5:04 For the rapid movement thing, I think the criteria might be having an onscreen hyper speed feat. I remember the SS3 Goku vs Fat Buu fight where it looked like he was using instant transmission to move a couple of feet at a time, and I remember Dabura instantly near obliterating Kabito when he attacked the z fighters. Kabito also has the Kai Kai teleportation which is better instant transmission, Hirudegarn has his turn to mist to avoid damage and sneak around skill, and fat Janemba has his portals. I don’t know enough about all of the characters to confirm this though.
@@FFKonoko unless you consider that he really didn't have good speed feats until later in the likes of super. Before that, he's never shown moving faster than piccolo and the group. He's shown to be stronger, sure, but that's not a speed feat. He also could have just been overlooked, as games from that era often did.
I think the reason why they never a destroyed version of the World tournament is probably because in most dragon ball games they always used the buu saga version which has never been destroyed in DBZ while the OG Dragon ball version has been destroyed twice which has never appeared in games until kakarot

Piccolo actually disintegrated the Saibamen with his mouth blast when he used it. Vegeta blasted Monster Zarbon up in the air but his body didn't get disintegrated, it fell into the water

The first fact you showed he did against Kid Buu, I believe he was dodging kicks emerging from the ground as Kid Buu was stomping into said ground and then shot a blast and that’s when Goku used IT to appear behind KB and kicked him is what it was referencing

Its not a hidden detail but one I always liked is that in the Budokai games is if defense wins during an ultimate, usually youd either just do less damage or even hurt yourself, but if defense wins on certain ultimates your character would actually perform a different move. For example, if Nappa wins offense he just performs his giant storm attack like normal, but if defense wins he instead does that ki slash that made a crack in the earth during his fight with the Z warriors.
It might be a detail or oversight by the devs but in Infinite World, all the new character Ultimates don't have the offense/defense mechanic, meaning they always win. Though I know Infinite World was rushed.
In regards to High Speed Movement (what you're calling "Rapid Movement"), I'd like to point out that there is a drawback to using it; your Max Power Mode depletes the more you use it and it also has a specific rhythm. In Tenkaichi 3 we have techniques called Dash Maneuvers & Dragon Dash Cancels, both of which are dash & Dragon Dash manipulation and enable you to catch your opponent off of a grab, full power / Perfect Smash, Clash of Blows or even certain Blast 2's & Ultimates. Learning this rhythm and specific patterns will make it possible for you to catch your opponent. I have a lot of clips of it but they're all part of stream VODs. I'll link an old video at the end of my comment if you're interested in seeing what I'm talking about. There are characters like Saibamen & Chiaotzu who also have "Rapid Movement", and the only explanation I could offer is "ki control" (as in from the anime, not the Z Item) but as you said, too many inconsistencies and it doesn't make any sense as to why those 2 would have it over characters like Nappa, Vegeta & Tien. Even Ssj4 Vegeta is the only Vegeta in the game besides Super Baby 2 that can use this mechanic. One thing I certainly hope Tenkaichi Zero brings back is this mechanic, as it will definitely retain what made Tenkaichi, Tenkaichi. ruclips.net/video/OT8FKR5IjpQ/видео.html EDIT: Congrats on 100k subs. I really miss the button prompts in Budokai 3. It makes the game more interactive, having varying results whether you fail or succeed on them. The Fusion dance is just one good example lol
I agree. Not all dragon rush things were bad and this was a example of its good sides. I just wish fusion didnt take up every slot even 2 spare slots would be nice to boost damage or defence or ki ability to be more efficient.
6:25 I think Pikkon can do it because he’s dead. I’m pretty sure he has infinite energy because he’s from the afterlife and it’s different rules in there. Kinda like the hyperbolic time chamber I guess…?
My favorite detail is in budokai 3, Tien's Tri-beam. If you lose out on the clash, Tien actually does more damage, but he hurts himself too. Homage to the show when he used it against Cell.
06:31 If I remember correctly they used the wrong form, he did do.something very similar during the fight with Goku on Namek it was right after he said he would start 50% of his power if i remember properly
Actually, many supers can desintegrate bodies. Vegeta (Scouter)'s rush, Piccolo (Early)'s rush and Babidi's Pui Pui attack will all desintegrate bodies if they kill someone
14:58 and they even have a unique source to get the destroyed version from! The battle against piccolo Jr. They could include the sand/dust outline that shows you can still get ringed out...Maybe Tenkaichi 4?...Please.
Also in tenkaichi tag team.there is a feature that allows you to take on multiple people at once on the world map.just hold triangle around a bunch of enemies and do it as the circle gets bigger.a icon of the character will zoom by with a phrase
7:10 to your point about high speed movement, I think it’s less based on power and more on how it appears when we see them. Perfect Cell is way stronger than anyone else when we see him at the tournament, so he could probably move around faster than anyone else could see.
But Mecha Frieza was never shown to be able to do that,as he never fought the others, only trunks. But that would also not explain why final form frieza couldnt do it,he was way stronger than the others, even goku before he became super saiyan
@@TTRoxas27frieza was because his death beams gohan and piccolo coulnt react to only vegeta and goku could cause they were at least strong enough that they could see his movements.

Budokai 2 has a glitch where if you enter the item shop and then pressing circle the progess percentage will go up and you can unlock all the characters and items without touching the story mode. Only works with the edition with Super saiyan 3 goku, super saiyan goku and vegito on the cover with kid buu in the back
Regarding rapid movement, Paikuhan (Pikkon) was tied with SSJ3 in terms of power, It was mentioned that both him and goku were always fighting for first position on the Other World Tournament. We see such a match about to begin on the Fusion Reborn movie, but it's interrupted by Jamemba. Tapion may be a reference to him having Hildegarn's energy in him, and teleporting is one of Hildegarn's abilities. He was barely even shown fighting otherwise, so I guess it's more of an easter egg. You should check if Hildegarn doesn't have rapid movement himself, in case you haven't because he's big, I don't really remember. I got nothing else for the rest.
Pikkon was never SSJ3 level in terms of power. He lost to SSJ Goku and in Fusion Reborn Goku straight up says that Janemba is the only person other than Buu who’s Goku ever had push him to SSJ3. You legit just made up everything you just said
- Goku/Vegeta has a halo in the janemba fight in BT3. - We know that "the halo" is actually an item with effects you can equip in the characters. - Does that mean the characters we're controlling in the Story mode has itens equipped? - *Does any other fight from the story mode in BT3 also features a character equipped with itens? (i.e: Nappa could have an item to increase is health since it has blue bars)*
I think not having the lookout get destroyed or being to recreate how the tournament grounds looked after Piccolo and Goku's fight are two big missed opportunities, considering both happened in the anime.
9:30 My theory for the spirit bomb is that it *doesn't* vaporize your opponent. In the show, that spirit bomb sent Vegeta flying for miles, so that may be what's happening here.
10:14 Vegeta (Scouter) also disintegrates his opponent with his Final Galick Cannon move which isn't an ultimate attack. Plus when Vegeta killed Monster Zarbon with it, Zarbon's body flew up and dropped into the water, it didn't get disintegrated
I dont remember what video it was but in one video you said "it didn't make sense the spirt bomb in the sayian saga vaporized the opponent" i just finished tree of might again and realized at the end turtles got vaporized by the small spirit bomb so it could've been a simple reference
In a beam struggle some weaker moves desintegrate people, some make sense like the kamehameha but for some reason the finger beam from the freezer soldier has the power to desintegrate people after a beam struggle. I never understood it, that i actually looked what every move after an beam struggle did to the losing end. Like the beam is to weak to damage the gear of the opponent, but if he is out of life force then the beam is strong enough to pulverise anything.
Not sure if you did this yet or not, but in DBZBT3, ssj2 Vegeta can hit giant enemies and cause them to stagger when only ssj3 characters and above can do that. It might be a reference to Vegeta partially holding off Hirudegarn for a moment, in Wrath of the Dragon movie.
I was gonna say how Broly isn’t in the same category as the other characters despite the fact he was beating the fucking shit out of 4 Super Saiyans and a Super Namekian without breaking a sweat!
@@willisrose9756 I’d 100% say he is especially since the guides saying each movie he’s stronger. And in the second movie he faught adult Gohan which would be post buu. And Gohan lost
I always believed when burter bragged about his speed he was comparing himself to the rest Freezas forces. Making the assumption they(his comrades) were the best of the best when it came to grunts. That being said, if you use that logic to allow burter you can add Tapion and Pikkon easily
I just realized during the first segment that when Gohan teleports during that chase attack, he does his Burst Rush chop. I don’t know if that animation is unique to him, but it’s a pretty cool reference. Also he outright uses Burst Rush in Videl’s Close Call
Ah there's my friend with another great video. Especially showing love to Budokai series great man. Also the reference is from the manga and fight against Kid Buu as well as he used then followed up with a hook kick or a regular round house
13:01 I love how he says “as we already know tenkaichi features destructible settings: not in the sense that you can destroy individual objects, but that you can destroy entire stage settings”… And he says this whilst showing characters literally destroying individual objects, including buildings, walls, rooms, boulders; mountains, etc. So…is that a mod? Why would he say one thing whilst showing the exact opposite gameplay?
Dragon Universe from Budokai 3 is one of my favorite features in any game. I loved finding all the little secrets and map changes in all the different stories.
On rapid Movement, it's not really about powerlevel, it's a combination of things; perception of their ability mostly. You're missing that that rapid movement is one of like three max power abilities a character might have. There's also a minor power body where they don't flinch from non-charged melee attacks, and an auto reflect that reflects rush blasts (but not B2's just to be clear.) So the ones that don't have rapid movement have some other useful max power ability.
I’d like to say, the characters don’t really “teleport” they actually just move really really fast, Goku SSJ3 is the only one that technically teleports
The reason only SSJ3 Goku uses IT while teleporting in those games is probably because that was the only form Goku actually used IT in _while in combat,_ at least afaik. That obviously changed by the time of BoG and Super, but it was a uniquely SSJ3 thing back during the original run of Z.
6:40 they did, it is canon that Mecha freeza is stronger than final form, i think he is even stated to be the strongest he is been but nobody saw 100% besides Goku so thats iffy
15:35 "Laziness"? No Arale is a... Well the Entirety of Dr. Slump (Where she originated from) Is a Full on Gag manga.. So Basically to explain this.. This man keeps me glued to the screen. Keep it up
Always enjoyed these videos, keep it up 👍
6:12 I think Tambourine is there because it looks similar to the move he used to kill Krillin in Dragon Ball
1:40 Cell teleporting into honkai impact and getting killed is hilarious in my opinion
Kinda like the hyperbolic time chamber I guess…?
i just rewatched all of your videos and you drop this at the same day? ur awesome
Dedication
The Instant Transmission is related to Goku dodging the blast against Kid Buu and kicking him away after; I think it's in the manga?
My favorite detail is in budokai 3, Tien's Tri-beam. If you lose out on the clash, Tien actually does more damage, but he hurts himself too. Homage to the show when he used it against Cell.
Kid goku (not gt) vs broly = special voice interaction.
Cool
06:31 If I remember correctly they used the wrong form, he did do.something very similar during the fight with Goku on Namek it was right after he said he would start 50% of his power if i remember properly
Actually, many supers can desintegrate bodies.
Vegeta (Scouter)'s rush, Piccolo (Early)'s rush and Babidi's Pui Pui attack will all desintegrate bodies if they kill someone
In Budokai Tenkaichi 3 Babidi's non ultimate attack, can also vaporize your enemy, that one where he invokes Pui Pui
What about tambourine
Man your vids are f mindblowing, what a hell to find all those details for sure. I don't know if you ever talked about the color variation of some characters (like perfect cell or ssj4 goku and gogeta) but it would be awesome if you do! Keep it up bud❣💪
5:30 because his Perfect ❤❤️🔥💚
1:36 OMG ROTMG this name brings back so many memories... anyone who played Realm of the Mad God 10-15 years ago knows Cake/Quake... She used to be everyone's childhood crush on that game swear to god.
Im so happy i noticed their name. DO YALL REMEMBER KALLE?!?!?!?!?! KALLE WAS THE GOAT BACK IN THE DAY FOR NO FUCKING REASON
Goku's spirit bomb probably disintegrates in BT3 due to its appearance in the Tree of Might movie, as it did disintegrate Turles at the end.
3:42 Honestly, I've never played the Tenkaichi games, but I always thought that every character could vanish like in most modern D.B. games.
Veku surrendering is when he was running away from Janemba
Budokai 2 has a glitch where if you enter the item shop and then pressing circle the progess percentage will go up and you can unlock all the characters and items without touching the story mode. Only works with the edition with Super saiyan 3 goku, super saiyan goku and vegito on the cover with kid buu in the back
That must be a dev tool instead of a glitch, cool fact tho
There is no Super Saiyan 3 or Super Saiyan Goku on the cover and this glitch worked like a charm for me.
@@Pokéfan1388 oh i never knew that. I heard with the other cover the glitch got patched but i must have heard wrong
Paikuhan is 100% not ssj3 Goku level, he was never mentioned to be on that lvl
Pikkon was never SSJ3 level in terms of power.
He lost to SSJ Goku and in Fusion Reborn Goku straight up says that Janemba is the only person other than Buu who’s Goku ever had push him to SSJ3.
You legit just made up everything you just said
4:14 i do it to confuse my opponents it's soo op.
I knew about when i was trying to avoid a beam while moving
13:06 was that friezas ship outside if planet vegeta? I didn't know that was breakable lol
1:19 wish they made it so every character that knows instant transmission do this animation and if they dont they just do the base anim
Given Dabura is the king of the demon realm, it's possible he possesses some kind of magic that he can use to move so quickly.
(i.e: Nappa could have an item to increase is health since it has blue bars)*
correct.
and i'm pretty sure a lot of them do, given how often characters will be stronger or weaker than they are in VS
Yes, apparently these are special red potaras that are hidden within the game's code but only equipped during the story.
I think not having the lookout get destroyed or being to recreate how the tournament grounds looked after Piccolo and Goku's fight are two big missed opportunities, considering both happened in the anime.
My Guy Be Vibin 8:45
In a beam struggle
some weaker moves desintegrate people,
some make sense like the kamehameha
but for some reason the finger beam from
the freezer soldier has the power to desintegrate people after a beam struggle.
I never understood it, that i actually looked what every move after an beam struggle did to the losing end.
Like the beam is to weak to damage the gear of the opponent, but if he is out of life force then the beam is strong enough to pulverise anything.
I know this isn't a super detail, but when you use Gotenks' Super 3 with Picolo on the team it helps lift the volleyball in Dragon Ball FighterZ
9:12
Hey kids, looks like your pal cell is in a sticky situation, what should he do?
Any Abridged lovers?
Cell: AH, GODAMMIT SHIIEEEEEEEETTTTTT
10:26 is that Buu panel from Dragon Ball Multiverse or some other fanart?
She wasn't on your list, but Zangya is also capable of using rapid movement. Strangely, her boss Bojack can't use it.
YES MORE DBZ SECRETS
7:04 if it was ssj3 levels and above broly would be there.
It was confirmed goku needed a 1000 times power boost to beat him.
Making him ssj3 level
The “Saiyan Saga” Spirit Bomb was the finishing move of all the early DBZ movies. It disintegrated Turles, Wheelo, Slug, and Android 13 (kinda)
Ah there's my friend with another great video. Especially showing love to Budokai series great man. Also the reference is from the manga and fight against Kid Buu as well as he used then followed up with a hook kick or a regular round house
I love these myth in dbz games oh so congrats on 100k subs
Dr gero can easily use rapid movements , he is one fast android, also he is imune to normal ki blasts when in max mode
13:01 I love how he says “as we already know tenkaichi features destructible settings: not in the sense that you can destroy individual objects, but that you can destroy entire stage settings”…
And he says this whilst showing characters literally destroying individual objects, including buildings, walls, rooms, boulders; mountains, etc.
So…is that a mod? Why would he say one thing whilst showing the exact opposite gameplay?
Dragon Universe from Budokai 3 is one of my favorite features in any game. I loved finding all the little secrets and map changes in all the different stories.
Its crazy that they put so much effort into Budokai I wish Xenoverse 2 how do I look cool detailing stuff like these games like custom auras Etc
You forgot that the Hyperbolic Time Chamber stage can't be destroyed either in Budokai 3
That honkai impact ad cut caught me off guard
Didn't expect a Hi3rd ad but glad to see it getting more love
On rapid Movement, it's not really about powerlevel, it's a combination of things; perception of their ability mostly. You're missing that that rapid movement is one of like three max power abilities a character might have. There's also a minor power body where they don't flinch from non-charged melee attacks, and an auto reflect that reflects rush blasts (but not B2's just to be clear.) So the ones that don't have rapid movement have some other useful max power ability.
Early Piccolo's rush attack can also desintegrate the opponent as a reference to him killing a saibaman.
I’d like to say, the characters don’t really “teleport” they actually just move really really fast, Goku SSJ3 is the only one that technically teleports
Frieza's ability(BT3) is a reference to Sonic Warp from Super DBZ being able to move at the brink of light
The reason only SSJ3 Goku uses IT while teleporting in those games is probably because that was the only form Goku actually used IT in _while in combat,_ at least afaik. That obviously changed by the time of BoG and Super, but it was a uniquely SSJ3 thing back during the original run of Z.
He used IT a few times during his fight with Perfect Cell
Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose again put your faith in Christ.
He used the IT Kamehameha against Cell, and used it frequently during his fight with Meta Cooler.
one of his most famous attack had him using it in ssj form the instant transmission kamehameha or warp kamehameha as some games call it
15:57
For a moment I could swear Goku was doing the “BOI” hand gesture right there.
They really need to bring back Bardock's Ultimate from Budokai 3 and put it in the New Tenkaichi game 🙏
6:40 they did, it is canon that Mecha freeza is stronger than final form, i think he is even stated to be the strongest he is been but nobody saw 100% besides Goku so thats iffy
In Budokai 3 3rd form Frieza has a unique Rush Attack he did to Piccolo fused to Nail in Namek.
Your dedication is inspiring. These videos are satisfying to watch
Appreciate it, glad you enjoy the content!
15:35 "Laziness"?
No Arale is a...
Well the Entirety of Dr. Slump (Where she originated from)
Is a Full on Gag manga..
So Basically to explain this..
Full Gag mangas can full on Denie the seriousness of Action/Adventure mangas
Like One punch man, Bobo-Bobobo-Bobo (Yes an actual manga name),
And Dr. Slump..
Including "The way of the Househusband"
I had a conversation of this on a post of "Saitama Vs Gojo"
But Arale can denie any seriousness attack and Basically call it.. a "Lightshow" or a "Dust Attack" because comedy.. so it wouldnt effect her as much..
Heck on Dragon ball super's Anime Vegeta Actually had trouble fighting Arale, and that the only way to beat her, Was to use Comedy tactics agaisnt her..
Which was a fair Game of Janken (Rock, Scissors, paper)
Yes im serious..
Full on Gag manga characters, Are more powerful than Action Adventure characters..
Well that is so much informative and very impressive 💪🏻💪🏾💪🤟🏻🤟🏾🤟
Glad to see you getting sponsors. Been here since video 1
I like how cell got trapped in Honkai 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. Why are you doing hercule like that with Satan city 😂😂😂😂😂.
Pikkon makes sense for the same reason as Burter. When he was introduced, he literally came out of nowhere and one-shot both Cell and Frieza.
I thought he was good with wind power
6:18 pikkon is debatable, he oneshot cell by his own and forced goku into super kaioken (which could be ssj3 level?)
Super Kaioken isn't Super Saiyan 3 level at all. It's not even Super Saiyan 2 level
@@camronshean1758how would that work? kaioken is a 2 or more multiplier. how would it be under ssj2
@@Bengt2509 Because Super Saiyan 2 is already twice as strong as a Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan Second Grade and Third Grade forms. Goku would need to multiple his Kioken a lot higher. Which in that case he might as well just go Super Saiyan 2
@@camronshean1758(he didnt know ssj2 at that point)
@@camronshean1758its filler
At 1:18, you mentioned the Fusion Reborn movie, but you had the caption say “Kid Buu Fight”. Clearly the scene shown is from the Goku VS Kid Buu fight on The World of the Kais from the Anime. Just a small slip up. 🙂
I wasn’t crazy about so many characters possessing the Instant Transmission technique in Budokai Tenkaichi 3, but at least Cell, Kid Buu and Super Janemba (some favorites of mine). Great video. Thanks. 😊
