Dragon Ball Z Kakarot PS4: Time Machine character bugs/glitches (Vegito/Gotenks/Trunks/Super Vegeta)

- There's not enough space for the whole title. But this video shows how to play as Vegito/Gotenks on the latest update (1.20) and Also how to Adventure round while transformed.
I left most of the videos as they were recorded for any of the "mod/edit" people out there who can't do it.
Vegito, so far, is the only character who actually changes who they turn into using the Time Machine. Apparently he can still be Vegito in the Time Machine but it hasn't happened to me. Super Vegeta seems to not work properly at the moment but i'm still trying.
I had to use another editor for this video so I don't know if everything is there or if some things are repeated. I also had no sound for any of this so it if's muted, out of sync or my voice is on it or whatever else. Apologies in advance.
Edit: As of the latest update. Trunks is no longer available this way as they have changed the way the menu functions with #21.

Replayed the entire game so I could play as Vegito in free roam. Totally worth it.
Btw the Vegito glitch still works but not with the time machine. You need to be in regular story mode to do it.

We need to disconnect the contoller after skiping the 2nd scene ?
Some you HAVE to. Others you don't. But there's nothing bad that can happen by turning it off. So you might as well.

I used the time machine for vegito and after skipping the scene I finally did it, but I was too slow for going to goku's home so I ended up as goku ssj
Sometimes the game refuses to bring up the radar so it'll happen now and again.

It's just a save edit. If you know how to edit then a video will do no good. If you don't know how to edit then there's tutorials anywhere else.

I am having trouble with transforming with trunks with the aura using sbbattack I did it ounce then i can’t do it kinda Need help
You have to transform at the exact same time the finish pops up. It could take 1 try, could take 100. I can't really explain the timing. You can't go by sight either. Just wait a second or so after it blows up and keep trying.
It took me about an hour to get Gotenks but I did Goku first try.

Yo so I did all the steps for the vegtio one and I have been doing the last scene a few times like no - no - no - yes and still nothing what am I doing wrong
Though during that I did not have a black screen the whole time though so idk if that's stopping it or what
The scene has to start fading in when you skip. There used to be a 5-6 frame black screen before scenes started but they added a longer, half a second black screen before scenes truly start to try and stop it.
If you get it on the 5-6 frame black screen it still works but you're better off doing the one where it's fading in.

It has to pause right as the scene starts. The amount of pauses I do will never be the same twice.
I have a problem not related but kind of is when I use time machine and go back and play as Vegito my health decides to go down for no reason pls help I tried restarting the game already.
Vegito is a set character so his stats aren't related to yours as he's auto level 75. Even if goku is a lower level he's still 75 at that point in the story
That's the health you haved left while using Vegito on the story playtrough, it happened to me too, i did the glitch, healed myself and then proceed with the history, after doing the glitch again, i had full health, so i guess the game even saves how much health the unplayable characters have

when i do the vegito glitch it and i turn it to him i open up the radar and teleport to wherever i want and i turn into goku

You have to do it on the story itself instead of the time machine.

I tried to do the glitch but it didn't work for Vegito on my PC. Even though I managed to press the esc button to pause I can't get to play as Vegito in time machine glitch
Vegito was fixed a few patches ago. You can't pause while the screen is black anymore

I have a glitch where when I fight as vegito it starts me off at 5% health so I’m literally one shot with every super attack
Pretty sure Vegito can use items. Unless you didn't put any on beforehand.
@@chaospunishment I did have items in my inventory I bought so some before I time travelled but when I try to use them it doesn’t show thwm
You can spam Split Finger Shot for quick damage and use the burst so you don't take damage. All of his attacks are slow.
To stop his ghosts stand right next to him and burst twice just before he blows them out. Same with Evil Bomb. All his others moves are easy to dodge.

Which ones are usable in time machine?
All but Vegito.
chaospunishment I did the Super Vegeta one in time machine and it took me straight into the fight, so it looks like that doesn’t work either
Thats why it has the writing on it.
There’s another way of doing it for super saiyan 3 gotenks

There is nothing you can do in this game that requires a step by step guide to follow what happens. Anything I say is literally the same thing as saying "do what just happened in the video"

As the screen fades you skip, then you can free roam as vegito if you do it in story mode, if it's the time machine you're goku

Vegito is Story only. You turn into Goku in the time machine.

In the regular story mode yes it does
So for vegito time machine: 1. You cant leave that area right? 2. To do the glitch you need to press no on skip scene 3 times and then press yes or what?
The time machine turns you into goku if you do manage to do the glitch. They are patching the game to stop you from doing it. You need to do it on the story.

You need to press no until you see the scene fade in. Then click yes, after you have moved area you can go anywhere except where the mission marker is.

As you can do it anywhere you are set to goku and vegeta

They fixed this way a while ago. There's still other ways to get them though you have to be on the main story for most of them.

@@chaospunishment I tried some times and I don't know if I was to slow but I end up with super sayajin goku and not vegetto
It still works then. Sometimes the game won't let you bring the radar up fast enough (Not your fault) and you get him instead.
If you're in the time machine you'll get regular (Non Super Saiyan) Goku instead of Vegito. So it has to be through story mode.
