Dragon Ball Z Kakarot Glitch Tutorial - How to Free Roam as Vegito in the Time Machine

- 2:30 onwards follow the video exactly as shown.
If you do anything to alter Vegito's equipped skills before switching area in the time machine, you will correctly be Vegito instead of turning into Goku.
Your game has a small chance of blue screen (PS4) while returning to the main game.

Just in case anybody still wanted to try, the new update has unfortunately 99.99% killed free roam Vegito. You cannot pause the game while the scenes are fading in/out anymore. There is another solution but it involves 2 frame perfect inputs with no reference to go off.
You have to turn off the controller on the same frame it fades in instead of pausing (Which you can't tell if you've done and is infinitely harder) and then you need to do a 2nd bug to make the scene play while paused. Which is also extremely difficult.
To do this you need to have the "Press X to reconnect controller up". When you press X you need to press pause again on a specific frame after you press X. (The timing varies in all scenes) then skip.
If you did both right then it should do the same thing as before. As I said there is no way to tell if you've disconnected on the correct frame so good luck

I seriously don’t understand why they couldn’t have just made a fusion mechanic for this game. What was the point of making an entire character for Vegito if you can only play as him once
I don't know but it's probably the same reason you're regular Gotenks when you do the glitch to get him. (He's always SS1 or SS3)
The fusion with Potara is infinite, remember that

It uses the exact same voice it would use for an attack sound. It's the same reason he talks during normal fights. It just uses voice 1, voice 2 etc because it's all he has.

The game freezes if he tries to eat at a camp, use a healing/food item outside of battle or go to his skill tree. I'd say those are more towards not being planned at all, which is unfortunate.
So never go fishing as Vegito, because holy hell...

Notice how vegito has a line whenever he finishes off an opponent, it’s as if he’s made to say that intentionally. Maybe a hint on vegito being playable?
Given we super sayian blu goku and vegeta, I’m guessing future trunk arc with goku and zamasu will be added, thus vegito blu

The game actively forces all techiniques/transformations you can't have off you. (Even bugged ones) Except Majin Vegeta's Super Saiyan Blue and Kid Gohan (Sword) who can have all moves available but can't fight anything (yet)
Even SS3 gets removed from Gotenks if you go to his first battle. So even if I got blue on him it's going to freeze or get removed either way.

@@paulmgs5068 same here. Wonder if the fusion is gonna have a timer too, also, there's a very small chance of SSB happening since both Goku and Vegeta got SSB, so would make sense for Vegetto to get the form too. I don't think it's gonna happen but it's a possibility

I glitched ssj3 somehow when I went fishing it looked so wierd
They should make it like if you have vegeta in your party and vegeta bar is up instead of a z combo you can fuse for like 40 or 30 secs
It's kinda dumb how they just wont add a feature where you can fuse into vegito mid battle if vegeta is on your party or sum and the fact he has working dialogue for the free roam enemies makes me wonder even more WHY IS HE NOT A FEATURE
Those lines are the ones he says against Buu, they weren't planned to be heard on Free Roam

So, a quick question if I may: whenever you save, the party you selected stays the same, but what happens when you save as Vegito during this glitch? Will your save file become unplayable? Will you stay as Vegito? Or will it just revert to normal?
You'll be Vegito until you go back to blake bog/gizard wasteland. Then everything goes back to normal.

Yes, I did. As I said, you'll be Vegito until you go back. That's it, no more no less.

YO I FOUND OUT ANOTHER GLITCH ON ACCIDENT WHILE TRYING TO PERFROM THIS ONE FOR LIKE 30 MINUTES!!! You have to be playing as vegito obviously and knock and opponent through the rocks with a move, ( yk when the cutscene plays) and then make sure they die from getting knocked back but spam X ( or A if you’re on xbox) so your character tries to chase them and you should see vegito flying in place and the game shouldn’t let you press any buttons, once you do that, close the game and you should be vegito ✅💯💯💯 on everything i love im not bull sh*tting

It does work. Just my timing after moving super saiyan sucks. It takes me to elder kai scene when I try to go to the map after unpausing. Kinda frustrating. They need to add "play as option" and "keep transformations on" option as well

Ah, well I did manage to glitch SS3 Goku out in freeroam & have almost gotten End of kid buu fight battle damaged goku into freeroam, I did try once with SSB Goku & this was as close as I got.

The goku at the end of the game if you get him has no neck. No idea why as he has it in the fight with kid buu

I don’t know if it’s patched or not but I can’t do it after the cutscene I pause it for four skip movie pop ups then skip it immediately closing the dualshock but it just continues to next cutscene
This is the latest patch, it's very specific timing. You'll get it eventually

after i finish the dlc i deleted the game i dont even care for the 3rd dlc. tire of waiting 3 years for dlc thats not even good or worth waiting for. and my main issue since the beginning not being able to transform in free roam. its so pathetic in a open world dbz game you cant even be super saiyan in free! roam

I wouldn't call it a secret, it's probably cut. Similar to gotenks, you only play as super saiyan / 3 gotenks as individual characters yet you are regular gotenks when you free roam as him, gotenks is only ever in a cutscene.
It was probably to piss everyone off, you'd think there'd be a mode to use every character after the game but like buus fury he's broken and only in 1 fight.

This is on a real ps4, no it isn't. The game just has a small chance to close as you return from the time machine as you aren't supposed to be him. Just don't eat, rest or give him an item as the game will 100% close off.
All save data etc is safe, no need to worry

They don't let you pause during black screens anymore, Though you can use Vegito using other methods now.

What im doing is, spam start when the cutscene of Vegetto being absorbes is starting, when the text boxs pops up and the video starts to appear, i press yes and i turn of my ps4 controller as fast as i can, then press x again, spam start but the cutscene with the kais just starts, what am i doing wrong?
You need to have it paused on the same frame the screen starts to fade in. So it will take a few tries.
