Just a note for anyone looking at this build, only the pixies from crossbow pistols and pellet shotguns and hydras from Fragment Rain SMG scale with spell damage. All others scale from gun damage except the Snake Stick melee as mentioned.
Any fearnot companion does spell damage. You can check by just choosing skill dark pact and if hydra does dark damage then it does spell damage. Then respect back to this build

I ran spellshot graveborn on my first playthrough and knew right away I wanted a graveborn brr-zerker as my second. It's an absolute tank. It feels like the zane of wonderlands where you can play around so much with this build and not really ever die.
been using this build since launch. such a fun build. i kinda dont wanna put it out there... but neck trinket that lowers cooldown on spell use, well spells that require you to "charge" if you just spam them without using them, you recharge your skill ability. So basically you can spam a generic spell to get almost instant skill use. Get extra charges and use one use to proc enchants if necessary
Moxsy… This was my first build and I hit for close to 500k now with my nuke. I love that you Went in all the way with companion to create a hybrid build. However, you can actually get even more damage and more health with bloodbag and cursed wit. Use an armor that gives you 30% conversion of all damage to dark magic and you will get your health bar to 13k in no time while rocking CW. Also, Triple stack your dark magic enchants. Lastly, the 30% damage increase when health goes below 50% is extremely helpful in this build too.
Great build Moxsy. I was running a similar set up but focusing on ability damage. The survivability was great but my damage was lacking a bit. Gunna add in the spell dmg converted to ability damage and see how it goes. Thanks for all the awesome build guides.
Does ability damage scale well to graveborn or is it more so for your Demi lich? Ik it directly increases the power of their hellish blast but other than dipping into blast gasp idk how effective they are at utilizing ability damage
@@anthonyprevost3968 nah it scaled kinda crappy which is why i was having damage problems. Think the best I was getting using blood bag with about 20k hp from the over leech was about 27k
Love this. This looks so fun. The problem I've been having with meta builds lately, is nothing is guns based anymore. It's spells or action skills. A shooter game not using guns feels weird
Check out termz or joltzdudes torgue build I use those and they are amazing or pugly has a ranged melee build focusing around gun and the stabo capstone
This does look fun. So far my fav builds are both melee, the dark magic Mages staff for Spell builds, and cold Ragnarok for Melee. Ragnarok is pretty darn strong imo, not broken I don't think, but fun AF and strong for melee. It's not the strongest, but I made a ClawBrr named Link, wearing a green tunic. The wyvern is like Links fairy/follower and the Ragnarok feels like sword beams at full health in Zelda games. StaBrr would likely be way stronger, but I'm roleplaying and need my WyNavi. My mages staff hero is a GraveShot and I plan to make them look like G-dorf. It's fun to rollplay.
I've been using a build like this for a couple weeks now and I absolutely love it. Just need to get a couple pieces of better gear and enchant and im perfect.
You can also build this out based around all dark magic damage which is also absolutely nutty especially since gravebornes inherent damage is dark magic, weapons, spells, enchants, gear buffs. Is a fun class for sure.
been running this build since release and didnt even think of using a paradigm class mod! Big ups to the bloodbag, frostburn, and snakestick bout time they got some love 🙌
If you don’t mind me asking. Could you possibly come up with an insane more brrzerker based build involving the feral surge action skill if you haven’t done so already?
Using dire sacrifice on a dedicated companion build for graveborn and spellshot is insane. Been my main since I started. Kinda feel like a spellshot will improve any build just due to the shield that gives 100% bonus damage when ward is broken, 2 mood rings, mixed with spellshots stopping the shield from recharging. That setup on any build is amazing.
I want to see a dot based brr seeker build. I’m not at max level yet but hammerzerker with dots maxed out is beautiful. Especially with feral surge execution. They should call it the Eledin
I loved this build leveling but was unable to transition into later chaos levels, even the wasterd boss at CL6 felt nearly unkillable. Will have to make some tweaks on it and see if I can get it to pop like this lol.
Welp my clawbringer is on ice until Clawbringer gets some buffs... I left my Brr-Zerker 2/3rds leveled.. time to finish it up! Ugh I hate that lich but time to suck it up. Just as Gearbox brought one build down... you fed me another. Gracias Moxsy.
I kinda settled into a build like this after trying really hard to make a Ritual of Bones Melee Juggernaut build work, but just heavily lacking a lot of good items and melee utility to make it work so far. It's a fucking fun build, good job!
Thats what im doing, you need really good gear to pull it off but once you do it can hold its own. Definitely super fun though, i named my character Krieg 2.0
@Moxsy Have you tried Graveborn/Clawnringer yet? I'd like to see what you guys come up with seeing as I have just hit level 40 and still don't even have my 2nd ring slot and have no idea how to get it.
So failed monk is preferred build for maximized output here. No negative to HP is only slightly less cap then alchemist that gives -5hp which is almost 13% hp and ward. The crit damage and crit chance are irrelevant based on what is said, So it helps lower some spell cooldown which isn't bad, even tho attunement is preferred. Hoarder which would give that boost to skill cool down gives 5% faster but 5% less hp and 12% less status damage so...maybe I'm bad at this but Monk seems the choice for max output on this build. Didn't hear much on that via the video. Such a shame you can't change backgrounds as easily.
Love your content !! Graveborn/spellborn honestly been the funest class to use to see how crazy you can rework the mechanics of wonderlands with the dual classes lol the synergizing is crazy wish I can send you a build video I basically use reaper of bones with a bunch of dark magic companions to run the skill through an entire encounter and off that stack use a shotgun pixie companion and melt bossess also the ability to cast a spell with a quick casting spell instantly has all my kill skills out
I ran this build pretty much all the way up to chaos 5. It’s true, your survivability is ridiculous and you’ll clear rooms reasonably well. Then when it’s boss time, especially on a boss like salissa you’ll want to blow your brains out. “POV just two immortals staring at each other” because neither you or the boss are getting anywhere fast. Even adjusting on the fly to reaper of bones and the change in gear like what was mentioned, imo, doesn’t significantly improve your situation lol. Also trying to COMPANION ALL THE THINGS with every gun, spell, melee, etc sounds great in theory, but it’s mind numbing trying to keep ‘em all up and what not and feels super inefficient. I’m not sure I would have cleared floors 30+ on a build like that either.
There are certain fearior weapons that spawn multi headed hydras and you are allowed to have 6 at a time plus the dark hydras for a total boost of 9 or more companions
I‘ve been rocking this kind of build before. While extremely fun to play the only place where it really shines are the obelisks. Everything else just lacks enemy density for it to be worth IMO. It’s cool to use this to rush the story with a friend but for endgame activities it feels pretty much wasted to me. I hope there will be dlc activity for it
I'm working on a build that shreds mobs and bosses equally quickly. It's survivability is basically non existent though. It relies on the buff meister/spell caster glitch and reflecting as many pellets as possible with as high of a crit chance as possible. My god is it fun, but it's also the most frustrating build I've ever used. There are some bosses I just can't touch because my pellets disappear before they can reach the boss. And some bosses are hard as hell because it instantly wipes all mobs preventing second winds. But if you are playing co-op it's the most fun I've ever had in this game. Makes the game drop to like 10 frames a week if I dump a whole mag into something tanky though which sucks. I had it slow the game down to the point of crashing once. So I still have a lot of things to work out with this build and a limited time to do it because when that glitch it buffed this build is utterly useless. Without buffmeister active you can't even see the damage on low health enemies health bars it's that pathetic. About 46 times 4.
For mobbing there is a significantly better hydra spell tbh and possibly for bossing since it always has 2 charges. There is a hydra spell that summons more hydras if u get it with 1 charge and no cd comes on the spell ots only a 17.8 cd with cd and no extra charges rolled on it then it becomes 15.
Could you also show your mythic levels ? I always wonder what you do with those and how much i need to adjust my expectations for if i would something like this without mythic levels
I would love to see a C50 update on this. The build is just so fun! I've fiddled with it a little bit and found that the Static Charge gives you higher health and I always spec into Unyielding and Blood Frenzy so it's easy to stay at high health for max damage slams. Then I have a zap/kchow Buffmeister with goes nicely with my Spellblade with the on melee kill, restore one spell charge enchantment. So, I make sure I have a few enemies around and am at high health, trigger Buffmeister then slam for insane damage. Basically everything always dies (currently up to C30 and still going).
Also avoiding pixies because I don't like the feeling of them playing the game for me. Guns are Queen's Cry, Throwable Hole, Swordsplosion (for bosses) and I haven't decided on the final one yet. Perhaps the Delugeon so I can switch it in to soak bosses before spraying them down with my Swordsplosion.
Gameplay wise, this is my favourite build as I prefer a challenge when it comes to a boss fight. There's nothing quite like clearing an entire room with a simple click of a button. Sore sacrifice works great on the bosses with mandatory phases to clear out the trash mobs, does ok damage to the red health bar, but sux against shields.
This was almost the build I had originally. Got to a point for me though where I wasn't doing the damage I needed fast enough. Looks like I need to focus a little more on the companions.
This build is working out very well at the moment in chaos 15, it's not perfect but it's definitely flying through the levels. I got 2 ruins, one with companion damage, and the other one has max ward, idk witch one I should use.
im working on a similar build, mines stabbo/graveborn, the theory im trying is I go into from the shadows or reaper of bones depending on the situation, with my comps dealing dark damage to keep me alive while doing insane crit damage, struggling a bit to find what really gonna push it to the next level. knowing hydra's and pixies deal spell damage will help indeed
If you want to try a really fun build, try out a gluttony with graveborn/stabbo with a deathless and from the shadows. Always getting the damage increase from Lord of Edges, and the 100% damage increase from Gluttony. I’ve been having a ton of fun with it
@@lunarevel im on c16 i think, and it melt most things aside from bosses, those take a bit more time. just a matter of getting the gear that works with the right rolls, feels like diablo 3, a legendary drop but ts no good cuz the rolls are wrong lol
@@Big_B2184 yeah, I don’t have the boss one shots, but I deal pretty consistent damage to them. I was chaos 20 within the first week, and I’ve been testing and changing builds mad often
This build seems insanely fun but the gear requirements to get the most out of it needs too much grinding (I’m specifically talking about the +3 in ascension, possibly on a paradigm)
I once spent more than one whole day, on the weekend, just trying to get the paradigm variant I needed, and it didn’t even have the right classes, rolls, or skills I needed but I took it anyways because I was tired of grinding
So I picked Graveborn as my starter class. Your video was the first "endgame build" video I found. I'm very much enjoying the build so far, i'm up to Chaos 20 at this moment but still haven't finished the build. Still haven't found a Snake Stick ever, and the only two guns from the build I have are two purple quality Fearknots. one spawns a fire hydra, the other an acid multi-headed hydra. Some stuff from the build I don't understand is: do the Fearknot weapons do spell damage instead of melee/gun damage? Are they the ONLY companion weapons that do this? I've seen some weapons that say "spawns a gun with wings" or "spawns a bouncing gun that shoots enemies before exploding" or "creates a dagger storm". Do any of these count as spell damage, or are any of them worth getting? I've been using a "pixie" shock shotgun and a "spawns a gun with wings" SMG until I can find better guns for the build besides my 2 Fearknot pistols. I still don't know which guns are viable and which aren't. I can't seem to hurt anything unless I have my companions from my Fearnot guns spawned.
Ehh, with the fix to Awe it's not actually that shockingly good anymore. If you're looking for a more nuke-y setup, better to go graveborn/spellshot and stack dark magic, that's what I've been doing recently and with Graveborn being bugged beyond belief with Faithful Thralls and Harvest, you cant really go wrong. Fun to play regardless though, but there are better combinations than using Clawbringer.
Also, if you spec into the claw skill that shocks everyone with lightning when the dmg you and use the 30 bonus dark magic armour you can heal off dmg your enemies deal to you lol
I noticed that you have several items enchanted with "When Action Skill is active". I think this will work as expected when using "Reaper of Bones" but my guess is that this does nothing with "Dire Sacrifice". Your thoughts? To me, when you activate Dire Sacrifice, the "Action Skill Start" event fires, but then "Action Skill Active" doesn't fire, and then immediately after start, the "Action Skill End" event fires. Does this work because there is a bug wherein all action skill last 60 seconds or some number despite that not being part of the action skill description in the game? Any clarity on this would be appreciated.
Hey Moxsy! Theres a song ive always associated with this game, since i heard the song around the time i preordered TTWL, its "chaotic good" by hey steve. Just fyi
So pixie feriores weren’t counted towards fateful thralls for me, but gun with wings were, is this right/consistent with what everyone else is experiencing?

I just messed with it. I really like this build
I've been using my nuke build for 3 weeks now. And you don't at all need the companion bs.
That outfit is so sick
The music🔥😮💨
This build seems insanely fun but the gear requirements to get the most out of it needs too much grinding (I’m specifically talking about the +3 in ascension, possibly on a paradigm)
I once spent more than one whole day, on the weekend, just trying to get the paradigm variant I needed, and it didn’t even have the right classes, rolls, or skills I needed but I took it anyways because I was tired of grinding
And the nerf on these chucks about to be so serious tomorrow
Idea: do this with Clawbringer. Boost dark magic, health, and elemental damage. This would become an absolute NUKE
That’s what I use on my claw, but I only have 16 points into the claw tree, decided against specing awe and just went more into graveborn
Also, if you spec into the claw skill that shocks everyone with lightning when the dmg you and use the 30 bonus dark magic armour you can heal off dmg your enemies deal to you lol
Seems more like another graveborn companion build with dire sacrifice just tacked on.
what should my hero stats be honestly for this?
"I see you having fun, it would be a shame if we nerf clawbreaker again"
Gearbox after watching your vids
Which twist of fate should I use for this?
That bug is now patched isn't it?
Otherwise you are correct, you'd want AsS for Dire, AsA for reaper 👍
For the snake stick, I got the same enchantment on the second role. Loving this build so far. Damage is lacking in bossing, for now. . .
Love the build! Graveborn is one of my favorite of the classes. And can I get the link to that intro? Lol
What's the song used in the intro? The where you're showing off the build.
Love this build ..... have you tried it on chaos at higher levels ?
In the middle of Futures Trading and some Video Editing.. I literally put everything I am doing down to watch one of these 😅
I'm currently trying to get my hands on a volatile Fearnot with Cryo Pixies like yours. Still no luck oof
Hey Moxsy! Theres a song ive always associated with this game, since i heard the song around the time i preordered TTWL, its "chaotic good" by hey steve. Just fyi
Yo moxsy! Are you planning to update this build for CC50? If not, then would the weapons change a whole lot? Thanks. Keep on truckin'
So pixie feriores weren’t counted towards fateful thralls for me, but gun with wings were, is this right/consistent with what everyone else is experiencing?
Is there a specific boss to farm the armour from? Great video, I've been playing a build similar to this.
Maybe im just not used to it, but I tire this build on Chaos rank 5 and died more than I ever have before lol
I think you left off a couple of stars for survivability
Hey moxsy I love your builds. I was wondering if a claw bringer/graveborn build would be as powerful as some of your other
With the nerf to Awe probably not anymore
Gotta add some wonderlands to the intro love the build gonna try just gotta start a new main I got a spore warden and a spell shot it’s a grind to get up to 40
I was really hoping this would use reaper of bones. I really want to use it but everyone’s so focused on the dark magic nuke
What background did you choose
