Thanks so much Cat! 🐈⬛ Yeah there sure is a lot of cool details on this one, a step above many other kits for sure. All the best and thanks for always watching, mate! 🙏😎👍
Wow, a very brave colour choice, Mark! It works really well with all the matte black stickers and painted parts, very nice! Those fiddling little masking tape strips for the lights, I had same issues on my Toyota Yaris body for the TT-02, it was a paint to work with... And speakling of pain, you did the right thing by just throwing those wiper stickers in the bin! Sometimes it's embarrassing how the manufacturers treat us hobbyists, he he... Your velcro solution looks really nice, and your tape looks like nice quality. With mine, I always need to go back and add super glue to keep the tape in place at all, he he...
Glad you think so, Mads! Yeah the colour choice was bold, it actually looks much darker "in person" and I love it! Oh no I have one of those Yaris bodies to do!!! More fiddly masking then! Too right, those wiper stickers would look bad on a cheap kids toy car!!! The Velcro use use is actually the original Velcro brand and is super quality. worth spending a bit more because it stays stuck! Thanks for the cool comment mate and wishing you a great week ahead. 😎👍
Good god mate, you make it look so effortless, but those of us who have attempted these shells know exactly how difficult they are. I once did the 'use the overspray film as a mask' trick on Tamiya's older Bronco - a little known technique, but it works a treat. Great call in using the reamer to create the holes - no messing about with different sized drill bits. A superb tool, I'd be lost without mine. Excellent vid mate, that shell looks superb in the cool minty green scheme. Well done dude...👍🏻🤘👍🏻🙂
Thanks dude, you know how it is, it always looks easy on-screen but in truth it's a lot more involved! I was worried if I could pull it off or not, especially the overspray film trick! Sounds like you tried that one way before me pal! But yeah, what a relief when it turned out OK... and once you have used a reamer there is no way back to a twist-drill! Thanks for the great comment and glad you approve of the unusual colour choice. Cheers mate! 🍻😎🙏👍
Thanks a ton for the kind words Tony! Yeah I was so pleased with the way the different black finishes came out and seem to compliment each other very well, more luck than judgement though my friend! Cheers! 🍻😎👍
Thank you very much Dirk! Yes, I was worried about using different brands of paint together, this body has Tamiya, Absima and Core RC paints and they get on fine together! 😎👍
You are definitely the Polycarbonate King in the RC world 👍 Looking forward to seeing the running/crawling video now that thr weather has started to change 🤘🤘🤘
Wow, thanks, you are too kind Peter, but I'll take that from the creative hard body king!!! 😁 Yep bad weather suits a crawler but this one is actually fast! Gonna be fun capturing it on camera though! Cheers! 🍻😎👍
Thanks Damian, that's very kind of you to say! It was a treat to put this one together, a bit tricky but it's good to have your skills put to the test as I think you will agree! Cheers pal! 🍻😎🙏👍
Not an easy body to do, awkward to cut out and fiddley masking. A lot harder than a lot of Tamiya bodies I have done but looks great. Nice way you mounted it to the chassis.
Too right, Mal, not an easy body at all but worth the effort in the end. It's good to have a bit of a challenge now and again. Thanks pal, I just had to come up with a way of mounting the body without those darn wobbly posts! 🤪👍
Ahh The best videos on YT, Mark Bryan RC bodywork painting 😉😁 Gorgeous end result 🤩👍 How u rate the lights masking tapes compared to the Audi Q ? I thought those were a bit difficult but i managed it really good in the end
Ahh you are too kind Are! But thanks all the same! 😁🤘 As you can tell I am very pleased with the way it turned out... As for the masking, yes it was about as tricky as those Audi Q lights, Tamiya like to try our patience and our skills! All the best, mate! 😎🙏👍
That is such a great colour combination, Mark! And all those scale details really help bring this body to life. Tamiya wins again! hahaha. Awesome video, my man!
Glad you like the colour choice Fil - it actually looks so much better in person, that cameras can't quite capture how deep the colour really is! Couldn't agree more, dude, Tamiya nailed the body on this rig! Cheers, my man! 😎🙏👍🍻
Hey our awesome Mukka that turned out perfect👌, the Matt black looks spot on. So much detail, spare wheel cover is👌. Great idea on the body mount Cobber!. Gotta say it's too good looking to scratch up now 😂. Hello from Sheila and me too, we both hope you're having a cracking week 🤠👩🦘🇦🇺
G'day Cobbers! You are too kind my friend! It was a tricky job and I was bricking it when I peeled the overspray film off!! But it was OK thank goodness! 😅 I like using Velcro to mount a body, it's stronger than magnets and you can reposition it easily. Glad you like it my Aussie friends! Say hi to Sheila for me and have a smashing week down there too! 😁🙏🍻👍
It turned out looking fantastic! Ford actually has done some retro versions in a similar color but yours looks better. The Ford color is more of a baby blue and I like this one much better! It is a time consuming body to do but like you said once it is done it all worth it. It looks great out in the sun. Looking forward to seeing it stroll around out there! Take care and have a great week my friend!
Cool, thanks Addam! Good to know Ford has also done some retro versions and so nice to hear that you think my colour choice is better! Too right, there is a lot of work involved in this body set as you well know, but something for us to get our teeth into! Weather is awful here at the moment with thunderstorms and flooding, hope to be able to get a run in before winter though! Take care too and a great week ahead to you! Cheers! 🍻😎🙏👍
@@MarkBryanRC Raining here too which suck because it looks like it is that way almost all week and I need to get out and go fast! LOL! Thankfully no flooding, that is never any good. Hopefully you all stay dry and you have some projects there to tinker on to pass the time! Take care!
Great job as usual buddy ...... I always learn something from your videos. Loved the way you done the wheel arches in paint, came out superb. Colour scheme works a treat.....reminds me a bit of the kyosho anniversary buggy colours! Great bit of custom engineering regarding the body mounting.....just make sure you dont drive it in any sheep fields! 🐑 We regularly see Taylor sneaking off to the sheep field late at night with his velcro gloves on.....but thats another story!😉 😅👍 👍 👍
Thank you so much James! 😀 It's good to know even seasoned RC'ers can get something from my videos! I just couldn't bring myself to use those wheel arch stickers - you know they will end up lifting off! I like to experiment with different colour schemes as you know, adds a little excitement when you peel that overspray film off! Haha, "Velcro gloves"!!! Never heard that one before mate! 😅 All the best my friend! 😎🤝🍻👍
That really does look great! Attention to detail is bang on, very impressive indeed, thanks for your upload 👍🙏🐱
Thanks so much Cat! 🐈⬛ Yeah there sure is a lot of cool details on this one, a step above many other kits for sure. All the best and thanks for always watching, mate! 🙏😎👍
So beautiful.
Thank you, that's very kind of you! Cheers! 🍻😎👍

Nice work on the video Mark, some very handy hints and tips there. The more matt finish on the blacks really sets it off I think.
Thanks a ton for the kind words Tony! Yeah I was so pleased with the way the different black finishes came out and seem to compliment each other very well, more luck than judgement though my friend! Cheers! 🍻😎👍

Thanks! 😎🙏🍻😁🥇🤟👍
Looks brilliant Mark 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks Andy, much appreciated mate! 😎🙏👍
Awesome job Mark. For me it's mostly interesting, that Absima and Tamiy paint can be sprayed over each other and work without cracks in the paint.
Thank you very much Dirk! Yes, I was worried about using different brands of paint together, this body has Tamiya, Absima and Core RC paints and they get on fine together! 😎👍

That's a little cracker Mark loving the colour and no pins spoiling the clean look.
Awesome job you did of it.
😊😊😊😊😊
Hi Allan and many thanks, glad you approve of the colour! And yes, always better without those darn posts poking through! Cheers! 🍻😎👍

Not having the patience for all this work 😀Leaving that to the pros.
Yeah it does take a lot of patience but at least I got time for it now I'm retired! Cheers mate! :D
Looks awesome looking forward to a run video 😎👍
Thanks a ton Chris, with the recent weather a run video may be a while in the making! Cheers mate! 🍻😎👍
Another great build video, you have it down to a fine art. Looks amazing. What a body kit! Well done Mark 👍🏻

Looks gorgeous, 3d printed wipers may be posible?
Thanks Paul, I am rather chuffed with the finished look. Yeah, it would be great if I could find some printed wipers! 😎👍
First!!!
Thanks brother Paul, first again! 🥇 Sorry, this is a bit of a long one! 🤪🤘
@MarkBryanRC Just printing Craig's falcon parts. Painfully slow business.
...as painfully slow as my building of this kit?!?!?! 😅🤪👍
