    I’m only two hours from LMR but really appreciate their customer service and fast shipping!!

    I still remembering arguing with my father in late 1990s about how I'm wasting my money working on the 302 and I need to just put a 351w in it. I never listened. Haha. I remember dynoing my 5.0 with every bolt on with trick flo heads, 278whp/ wtq 328. I gave up in early 2000s as no matter what I did to my 302 the LS crowd killed me. I miss the Old times...

    just imagine if he does underdrive pulleys, K&N conical filter. Edelbrock Performer RPM intake. 24lb injectors, AFR 205 heads. E303 cam. 1.6 rocker arms. adjustable fuel pressure reg. BBK 190 LPH fuel pump. BBK 76 mm MAF meter. I would guess that it would make around 290 to 295 at the wheels. thats around 340 all motor. that car would run low 13s high 12s. my guess, Especially if he takes to the track in temple tx or up to Dallas.

    These with 5 speeds dynoed 180 or 185 stock so these numbers are about right. The 70mm isn't doing much with a stock air intake and intake manifold. It will see alot of gains from engine mods because the exhaust is already freed up.

      Thanks for the comment! The front wheels are 17x8". The rear wheels are 17x10". They will fit on a '79 Mustang. Because of the width of the rear wheel, you may have to clearance the inside area of the wheel well and roll the fender lip on the outside. -Landan

    God I wish I could send my 2.3 to you guys to fix it. Not starting up after the starter messed up which messed up my flywheel after swapping out the warranty with autozone twice initial breakdown messed up 2 teeth 1st warranty swap the flywheel messed up the starter 2nd warranty swap starter messed up more teeth on the flywheel which also messed up the starter again now im on my 3rd warranty swap which was swapped after changing out the flywheel all starter swaps are duralast gold which is brand new not reman alternator is a 3G duralast gold as well which I upgraded from regular duralast to gold when the 1st starter messed up. So after the 3rd starter swap my car hasn't been able to start up its lagging like if its lacking power or from what my coworkers say it sounds like its not getting enough gas so i changed the fuel pump and also recently changed the crankshaft position sensor which after changing the crankshaft position sensor I was able to start it twice for a few seconds (while hooked to a charger/jumper which set to the jumpstart option). Ive also changed most of wiring to the starting/charging system which would be the wires to the starter and Alternator. For the battery though ive only changed the positive cable (the negative I plan on buying from you guys soon). Also I plan on getting the MAF sensor soon as well.

    Might make more power if you guys used the correct fuel. 9.5:1 compression does not need 93 octane. Seems a little weak unless the engine has high miles.

    • @eriv4735
      @eriv4735 2 года назад +2

      If the timing is advanced then 93 is needed and knowing these guys the timing is advanced.. The cars power is actually fairly high for a bone stock engine..the car is running great

    • @Sheehy223
      @Sheehy223 2 года назад +1

      @@eriv4735 I've had no issues running 89 in my Fox at approximately 14 degrees base timing, and that's with GT40 heads, Cobra rockers and an E cam. I was running 91 for a while but when I switched to 89 since gas is so obscenely expensive now the car actually seemed to have a little more low end. I've heard a lot of the same from people on forums although god knows how many are completely talking out of their ass.
