Unbelievable video as always mate! I had one incredible season from a newgen Raumdeuter in Uruguay back on FM21 and haven't had much joy since, may be time to revisit soon!
The animations to explain and visualise your thought processes were outstanding as ever. I do also feel though that Mirandes should be allowed to keep their 'mystery' goal simply as a reward for keeping Khouma Babacar in meaningful employment!

Thank you, dude. I tend to find that the biggest barrier players complain about when it comes to FM tactics is having an idea of what they expect/want, and just breaking it down into phases can help demystify a lot!
Simply put - I’m hooked.
Love the dry humour and detailed analysis to the point where I’m going to start a new save at a club with a decent youth setup to see if I mould success based around a primary 442 (it’s an obsession) and a backup 4231 dropping a playmaker into the hole.
Cracking stuff!
Lastly I spent a couple more hours on the new skin and now I’m getting used to it I’m finding myself obsessing less over the minutia of numbers and using the Birds Eye view to group players into the roles I want to adopt.
What's the obsession with a 4-4-2? Is it just a fond memory of the shape from years past, or is there some crazy story behind it?
@@mustermannfm I moved to the US in 2005 and grew up watching Chelsea in the 80's. No offence to American fans, but most of them don't realize that there are other options than Cruyff's 433/343 total football and FM's meta 4231 that a lot of teams employ.
The delicious salty tears on display when I show my trusty 442/424 dominating with a Target Man on support duty feeding an advanced forward is a joy to behold.
I did employ your Segundo Volante idea from your moneyball and improved the tighter results which has left them even more baffled. I'm now using it at Hajduk Split and Olympiacos, with a youth academy challenge, but both are in their infancy.

@@jaden_shah it genuinely pains me that I can't make it work in a manner fit for public release. It's probably my favourite creation. Being able to see a player's profile from the squad screen is so useful, especially when going back and forth. Being able to use it to compare multiple players at the same time is cool, too.
Ah well, hopefully SI have something exciting up their sleeves for FM25

Awesome style of playing the game. I would love to do it the same way but kind of fail to adapt it to the way I want my team to play. I guess I'm always searching for perfection and can't figure out if a step to this perfection works, because I'm not focused enough on the details and need to be more patient. However, great work mister!

If you struggle with that kind of analysis, I recommend just focussing on a single area. Maybe it's a particular player/position that you want to address, then click on the player at the beginning of game to keep them highlighted, maybe watch on comprehensive highlights, and just see what happens. Maybe it will take 5 or 6 games to eventually land on the solution after some trial and error, but just small incremental changes can make a difference over time!
Okay, excellent. Was also thinking of a Zaragoza save at one point thanks to Pablo Aimar playing there before he moved to Valencia. Hopefully this is a bit of a bigger challenge than the spell at Greece.
I was genuinely surprised that Zaragoza have been out of the top flight for so long. They were so good back in the day. In fact, they're responsible for winning me £2k. I'll probably mention that story during a later video!!

I was wondering, maybe you already told it somewhere else, but what are the pizza charts figures relative to? Is it the league the players play in? Or some sort of all-leagues-combined stats? Thanks again!
It's in the FAQs everywhere the skin is hosted.
I have analysed 26,000 players playing more than 900 minutes in the Top 20 domestic leagues, breaking down each metric by position. Due to limitations this means the underlying data is static. For example, an Attacking Midfielder who completes 4 dribbles per game will always be ranked in the 90th percentile, even if at that exact moment in your game world there may in fact more or less players better than them.

Although, generally, I tend to leave recruitment focus up to the Chief Scout. His job is to just build a pool of candidates. Then I'll use data to filter that down.

Thanks for the feedback. Didn't do anything different with the de-esser (just the default setting on the editing suite), but I'll have a look into it. These things are easy to get lost after you've heard the voiceover a billion times 😂

Alternatively, you could create in-possession and out of possession version of your tactic and use the squad planner.
How can I create a view in my squad like yours?
You can't. It's not fit for public release due to bugs...
...Unless you have experience with skinning, at which point you need to change the squad class in the sidebar meta sections.xml to team_training_person_table_info_panel, it's customisation_context to play and then adapt from there. You lose the ability to manage your lineup, see players out on loan or any national squads, and certain columns (condition, for example) don't work properly.
