He also uses this to setup the following bars where he shouts out all the legends that came before him and paved the way.
Em deserves the highest, demands, the highest of respect from the rap community. He's never been in the news for being wack or out of pocket to be out of pocket. Also a fantastic album with many songs worth hearing. "Still Not A Player" was his biggest hit I think, but "Super Lyrical", "Punish Me", "Glamour Life", "Carribbean Connection" etc.

maybe something in his career with virgin records, I dont know much about em. You got to look though, he has so much symbolism and multiple meanings to every word and line. He writes rhymes like the Bible. Also beyond his rhymes, I thought it was amazing how he kept changing his whole style of rap throughout the song, kinda showing like hey watch this I can do any and every style of rap, I make styles.
