As I've gotten older, I've come to believe that Em creates such lyrically dense tracks because you can listen to them over and over again for years and get new shit outta them over time. All the great artists accomplish that in some way, I think. It's repayable, evolving with the listener, and you enjoy it every time.
My favorite line from this song is when he says "You're witnessing a mass occur like your watching a church gathering take place" but mass occur sounds like massacre in the context, great reaction though
I was obsessed with this song when it came out! You’re right Godzilla blew this out of the water speed wise and this shit was fast as hell when it came out!

Stevie you totally missed the ramen noodle reference "im at my ramen noodle" Maruchan ramen is probably the largest supplier of ramen noodles. The parent company is Prime. Eminem is saying I'm at my Prime.
@Carter Drake as always Eminem has doubles and triples. But just look at the entire verse I'm out my ryming noodle we have nothing in common poodle I'm a doberman pinch yourself and pay homage pupil. I'm at my prime. I'm a top dog I'm schooling you. That's the hidden message Out/at ryming/ramen is just the way em twists words. Trust me when I say he 100% knows maruchan ramens parent company was prime. The guy analyzes everything deeper than most. Just look at the marvel references he pulls Asgard, Thor, Odin.
@Carter Drake I'm just a simple person. It used to say prime right on maruchan ramen noodle packages. My ability to "reach" is limited. I came from a similar background. Your broke your hungry those were like 10 for $1.00. just saying. I don't know how much more quick Crete you need that it literally printed on package back then.

One of the dopest things he said in Rap God is “Packin the Mac in the back of the Ac(Acura)” you you’re a fan of underground battle leagues then you know how famous those words are.
It’s like a triple entendre, because, lots of people have died in large groups being in churches too.
Oh shi...
I was obsessed with this song when it came out! You’re right Godzilla blew this out of the water speed wise and this shit was fast as hell when it came out!
“NOT AFRAID” by Eminem please it’s deep but your brain won’t hurt
I catch something every time I listen to em now because of you bruh! You brought my hip hop IQ up thanks
I appreciate the breakdown/interpretation of the verses. Solid stuff Stevie
Your videos need to be as long as you need them to be when the Rap god is concerned! Been a Stan since day one💃
I love that you caught the "made a living and a killing" flip-- I never noticed that living/killing wordplay before -- Good shit! That's why we're here... keep it up.
I always love that Eminem has and always will give respect to those before him that influenced him. Such a student of the game
Eminem - Evil Twin
I always love eminem and now I'm older I love these break down videos give deeper meaning of his lyrics!
Guys he reacted to Evil Twin but hasn’t upload it he said on his youtube story it took him about an hour to get through it lol
Heat Nation 4 ever can’t wait
I hope he doesn't think that's too long because I would watch the shit out of that
I’d watch it too... but I’m gonna have to go listen to evil twin again... I don’t remember it being that great... but EVERYBODY is requesting... I must have just forgot. Mmlp2, right? I loved that album - especially baby, groundhogs day, wicked ways, etc...
😂😂😂
@@thebrownage8599 Haha Evil Twin is basically Em vs Shady and Crazy Bar Heavy. Stevie is going to enjoy that one for sure!
I never caught the "im out my ramen noodle" part before. Rhyming noodle. Damn. Im trippin right now
Best reaction so far this week, need those Rabbit Run, 8Mile, The Way I Am, Criminal, Evil Twin type songs next!
You have straight up been the best break down of most Eminem’s songs I’ve seen. Most people can’t catch half this shit after listening to it 10 times! Eminem is actually intelligent so sometimes his shit is too smart for certain people to catch! You definitely got your Eminem brain on lmao mans ridiculous!
I heard this song 100 times but I heard it for the first time tonight,Stevie the breakdown is ridiculous thanks big dawg
Every time I react to this man I analyze a bar more, he makes you really understand bars 🔥✊🏿 keep up the good work bro 🇿🇦
Eminem - Deja Vu, one of his best storytelling songs. I'm gonna keep recommending :)
i have seen so many Rap-god reactions. But yours is, by far, the best and you catch every bar and all the word play.
Thank you Stevie...
Like he says in Evil Twin, he’s basically just competing against himself at this point.
There is no other way that song could have been broken down but the way that you broke it down you are probably the best of the reactions of all the other RUclipsrs I've seen doing this so far! R.T.
This is a legendary reaction. Historic!
It's been a minute since I listened to Rap God, but I always get pumped when it plays on my Spotify. Also, now listening to it, it's so crazy that Rap God is super slow and basic for Eminem now that he put out Godzilla :D
dude dont worry about standing up, nolifeshaq all thou he does it allot he did not invent it lol
loads of people did that in reaction videos before Shaq
plus no to mention Standing ovation
or you could get a punching dummy / bag release the energy that way :D
Yeah and you could tell it was authentic - it was an honest reaction. :D
I love the beginning of the fast part starts with a shout out to JJ Fad’s SuperSonic; part of thier song has the sum a lada dumalata phrase. That’s an old ref.
"looking boy. You're witnessing a mass occur like you're watching a church gathering take place looking boy"
(You're witnessing a massacre)
Top 5 em bar. I wanted to see that seat abandoning reaction lol.
This so is exhausting tho
"full of my self, but still hungry" as in he ate alot of M&M's!
Omg bro that is a triple. Full of himself as in like ego, still hungry as in could eat more, or wanting to do more, and now I see this. Bro I never thought of this😳😳😳
" get yo ass back down! " lmao
Best breakdown, thank you ❤👍🔥👊🎶
“Columbine” verse, he is referring to a verse that was criticize in the Marshall mathers LP.
''But for me to rap computer must be in genes(jeans)...... I got a laptop in my back pocket'' and he's wearing jeans.
shady cxvpher, best freestyle ever without a doubt!
with barz!
I’ve been steady trying to get him to do it
I play that regularly. Doesn’t get old.
Is that the one with westwood?
Love the way you understand and explain parts of the lyrics that I never quite understood before. Finally a reaction channel worth watching, who isn't just hearing but listening to the music.
Stevie you totally missed the ramen noodle reference "im at my ramen noodle" Maruchan ramen is probably the largest supplier of ramen noodles. The parent company is Prime. Eminem is saying I'm at my Prime.
Also ramen is a wordplay with “rhyming”
oh shit i aint catch that
@Carter Drake as always Eminem has doubles and triples. But just look at the entire verse I'm out my ryming noodle we have nothing in common poodle I'm a doberman pinch yourself and pay homage pupil. I'm at my prime. I'm a top dog I'm schooling you. That's the hidden message
Out/at ryming/ramen is just the way em twists words.
@@brianmack2236 nah youre reaching bro. Its Eminem and He is my favorite rapper but you cant just make him say stuff that he wasnt intending to say
4:32 Eminem got m'fkers out here switching shirts lololololol
I know its late but really happy for your channel growing so much man from music reacts to commentary about life and society. Well deserved brother dont ever stop being you
Nobody else can decipher Eminem like you Stevie. You a rap god too, man
Man I absolutely love your Eminem journey to listen deeply to his material.
I know it's late but the line "i let off, then im reloading." this man is always ready.
The Busta set has so many layers - School, vehicle, Busta, (bus the), New School (iykyk), students, and i know i missed like 3 others but omg that has always been one of the most impressive set of bars - and it’s all a history lesson within it so that adds another layer to it.
Do you know the original Busta Rhymes, the athlete?
Can we all take a moment to appreciate the size of this mans biceps?!
no homo.
Steroids 💪 I 🤔 think
Hi @@ZE1R3X
🤨 I mean yeah I suppose so
Love the knowledge and insight you displayed. This is what reactions videos should be all about!! Great Job 🙏
One of the dopest things he said in Rap God is “Packin the Mac in the back of the Ac(Acura)” you you’re a fan of underground battle leagues then you know how famous those words are. The phrase became hella popular in the early 2000s (maybe late 90s) and now every battle rapper flips it. You can tell he studies those leagues a lot.
its not from those leagues. its from big pun pakinamac. everyone in hip hop references it now, but thats where it came from.
@@dingleberet5526 yes this is true! That’s also why I said late 90s. I’m from Houston and even people there said this phrase in the late 90s I believe. I just know battle rap made it popular by how many times it’s been flipped over the years. Especially in the URL
@@ufonious747 bruh u said that him referencing it shows he watches battle leagues? it doesnt show that at all. it shows hes a student of the game and hes showing homage to pun. you tryna make packinamac about URL? that shit gets flipped by all sorts of rappers battlers are just a small part of that. how u finna say URL made pickinamac popular
@@dingleberet5526 he literally watches battle rap leagues all the time and when this came out that bar was being flipped heavy multiple times already lmaooo wtf but ok you got it man! Lol 😂 nobody gives a fuck. I said what I said
The analysis of this song, is the best on RUclips hands down. Thank you for the great analysis man
"im beginning to feel like a rap god" At this moment in time, he was finally starting to understand why millions of people say hes the best to ever do it, and is starting to agree.
So nice...a real friend...thank you for your story...i loved it ❤
Man I love this track. I listen to this on a daily, we at 7 years now. Can someone name an artist that gives props to the greats in nearly all their tracks. 🔥🔥🔥
Most epic break down of this song on RUclips. Period.
"inspired enough to one day grow up blow up and be in the position to meet Run DMC and induct them into the mother fu*kin Rock'n Roll hall of fame, even though I walk into a church and burst into a ball of flames, only HALL of fame ill be inducted in is the alcohol (HALL) of fame on the wall of shame". FIRE
I love this bit of rap god! Gets me pumped 😂
Great break down of "Rap God". I've seen other reaction videos of this song and they lack the insight that you brought. Thank you.
10:28 in case anyone is wondering, he's referencing the song "lookin boy" by Hot Styles and Young Joc
maan you deserve millions of subscribers , thank you for your great reaction ❤❤❤❤❤
Especially when English is not your first language. He’s like dropping a nuke bomb in my dome. Shout out from the Philippines! 🇵🇭
SK, this is the best review I ever heard about Rap God. Each word mean something, it is not just about speed, you just need to be on his level of mind!
He needs to make a rap god part 2.
Stevie, the fast rapping part is a play off of the song from the 80’s called Supersonic.
Thank you for everything you do!
6:44-7:03🤯 *Exactly glad you caught that Stevie and great breakdown.*
Just discovered your channel and subscribed. Finally someone who listens to Eminem the right way.
