I am just starting out and this is my FAVORITE toutorial so far! I wish I would find more vidios like this. I loved that you showed two patterns, how to switch between the two AND put it in a song. That is exactly what I’m trying to learn to do! Also, showing the 1B, 2S was super helpful to me because I have a hard time just watching someone’s hands and figuring out what to do. Thanks!
1.try to cover any kind of songs 2.be creative 3.be observant (especially while watching someone beating) 4.be resourceful 5.be risk taker- allow yourself to sound bad 6.be patient simply understood the foundation, thank you I'm gonna learn this on table where a shallow area on it can sound as snare, since I don't have one cajon rn, ill buy one after I gain enough expertise in this stage. helpful.

I keep hitting my cajon with a (bass) fish, but it doesn't sound good and makes a mess. It's spelled bass, but sounds like base. Bass as pronounced is a fresh water fish.
What confuses new players is putting a mic around drum most beginners doesn’t have a mic system and it sounds totally different from playing cajon without the amplifier
bro give me the specific time of where you heard the song with in the video, so that I can pin point what song you are referring to. Because there were two songs that have been played there.
