I love fairies! I can see them - they appear as little balls of light. As the light gets closer you can see a little being in it. I always see them in gardens and around trees. What a beautiful book. I must get one. Thank you for sharing! 💖
I'm a huge fan of Brian Froud!🧚♀️🧚♀️🧚♀️ I have one of his books " bad and good faeries" and my all time favorite Oracle of fairies deck which I LOVE AND ADORE!🥰 Faeries are very real too! Thanks for sharing. I wish I had that book . Library has it and ive read it 😊
Beautiful review! I just ordered a copy after seeing this, collecting these tales at the moment and what you presented here was just down my ally! Loved the writing style and the illustrations. Thank you good sir!
The nature spirit fairy beings that I have seen are swarthy earthy, tree like or green and brown plant like in color and appearance. They are shy, sly and sometimes friendly. I have seen some hidding while smiling in peering at me from bushes or trees or just staring at me while hiding and some Forestry.
is that something you were born with or did you work your vision to see them? I'm wondering if I can gain the ability to see things 'beyond the veil' through meditation
@@Eminia999 , I believe that all humans are born with certain psychic abilities, whether we use them is a different story. But I can say the use of the Magical Mushroom has helped me a great deal in seeing beyond the veil.
One or two :) I'm not really a deck collector. Doesn't stiop me from looking, but my book addiction is probably enough to keep my wallet busy as it is ;) Check out my video on The Interpreter... ruclips.net/video/0QuJFwzUKSs/видео.html
I could have sworn I have a copy of this somewhere.... But I don't know where :/ Beautiful!!! (I had a conversation with someone about whether the entities that I heard about when growing up in Java were in fact the same entities as these faeries.... but they were perceived or appeared differently.....Which led to the question as to whether these entities, if real, appear differently to different humans of various cultures......)
Hm. Yes, I've heard different theories about that, the concept of Genius Loci, the protective spirits of a given place, seems to speak quite directly to this question. While possibly of the same category, they may not be of the same 'character', and I suppose the way a people have traditionally responded to them as a group will affect that character in turn. I love the idea of faery, and I just wish that I had a parallel life which I could devote to their study 😊
I am off-topic here, but wonder if You know off some book that is modern that reminds off one thousand years off philosophy by Rom Harre 1988, yes I am over 50 but I started my journey into old worldviews with it. I used to lend it out to newbies and it fell apart. Since You are a teacher You might know if there are kind any kind of gentle comparing books, that are cheap? Love the faeries book by the way,
Modern, so I'm guessing not the Golden Bough which has a gorgeous Folio Society edition right now? Would Sapiens do the trick? Or are you looking for something a little more 'behind the scenes' like the 'Illustrated Secret History of the World' (really need to get myself a copy of that, it looks gorgeous!)
Thank you so much! :D Yes, it's all about those stats ;) More interaction means more exposure for the video's thumbnail in people's recomendations, which in turn hopefully turns into more clicks :)
Amazin! You're compiling a list of books for me to purchase through life :) Thanks so much, and please keep going!
Glad you like them! :D Thanks for watching!

@@Eminia999 , You are Very Welcome 🙂
Brian Froud has an oracle deck which I wonder if you know about? It is called the faeries Oracle by Brian Froud and text by Jessica Macbeth.
Thank you @Alexander, I don't think I did know about it 😊🙏
Check in fireside publishing, if it is there.
Do you have any videos on your tarot cards?

5:00 Puck looks like Leonardo DiCaprio in What's Eating Gilbert Grape.
I wish I could collect all of Froud's books but, alas! I just don't have the dough, especially these days.
Sending intentions of prosperity and full bookshelves your way! Thanks for watching!
Lindo demais, poderia indicar algum que seja em Português? Agradeço 😊

@@FoolishFishBooks oh I got it thanks :)
'Puck is looking very puckish' lol completely true tho
Nice try Fae. Trying to convince us that your book is large by showing your hand in comparison against a blue background. I'm not buying it.
Hahaha! Thank you, Artemis, your comment made my whole weekend :D
