What’s amazing is that these paintings were panned and left their friendship in pieces. Critics were always harsh with Andy and quick to dismiss his work. How things have changed.
I loved this womans narrative aspects in the Andy Warhol documentary.
Thanks for the wonderful video look at this outstanding exhibition and the additional perspective/background information! I saw this in person a few weeks back and was just delighted to see so many of the collaborative works up close. --The 12 PUNCHING BAGS/JUDGE piece is really something to behold. Wonderful show! Congrats to all involved.
Thanks for posting. I came for Basquiat and stayed for Warhol
It was a shame both artists allowed the vile critics to break their friendship, this is a very effecting exhibition
Congratulations for this documentary.
Jessica is articulate & I admire her so much !
Thanks, It's magic!
Big thanks..
I have learned so much and I am 70.....
Xcellent
Very cool and gives some credit & clarities concerning the collaboration. Add Commerce to the equation. Photo Credit Steven Torton for the Portrait painting.
Wharhol did the chair and Jean did the man on the last piece
He pissed on it now it’s worth $14 million
I do lots of abstract and better ones to I didn't get famous.
Probably because nobody is interested in your character
