Yeah, me too. A lot of people think it's kind of overkill to have the unlocking differentials, which sometimes it may be. But it really does help your turning radius. And it saves on your battery life when you're not locked in. Not to mention, it is fun to see how far you can go without them locked in. Lol
I have had xl5 escs that went faster in reverse than forward just swapped the motor wires over but that was in the old Stampedes and Rustlers though back in the days when the XL5 escs were yellow!
If his battery is that dead the light on the esc when on needs to be lit green. If lit red will have no low voltage detection and drain the battery too far. To program pug the battery in turn the remote on and hold the power button on for 10sec or hold the power down for 10sec if turning off something like that. Both are nice rigs
These stock controllers don't have a throttle trim unless you have the chip in the back of them or you're running cruise control. The knob does nothing otherwise.
Plus had several Traxxas RCs over the years that came with a Titan brushed motor they all take a shot on ya at some point. Even the bigger ones in the Emaxx aren't much better!
You’re on the right path thinking motor add take the motor out hit it with WD-40 drop it some water see what colors come out if it’s gray it’s just motor if it’s red you know what that is
Love doing the unlocked diff challenge on the rocks and trails to see how fair I can go until I lock the diffs 😂

If you put charger in nimh mode for like 10-20 seconds then change charger to lipo mode. U can bring back discharged lipo.

His battery was Undercharged but I fixed the battery. but his motor is bad. I put another one in the last night I will test it later.
I'd check the commutator in the motor. I've had luck cleaning them with a q tip and alcahol
Noone notice the throttle trim is turned down..

I swap the motor last night I haven't tested yet but I'm sure it's faster now.
