If your on a budget put some energy suspensions low profile upper bump stops in there like 20 bucks for all 4, and crank those torsion bars up young man. If you want to make it ride nice cranked up than get yourself some sway-away torsions. There 200 bucks but so worth it. Custom tube works builds 4 inch lift spindals and some 1 inch lift upper control arms also.

Is the ball joint spacer lift kit worth it I’m thinking about getting one just wanting to know

For how budget friendly and simple it is, I'd say it's worth it. But there's also a 3” fabtech lift kit for these that runs around $900.

can you roll with the 15' wheels without the lift an not get any rub / scrapes?

Would depend on your tire size and offset. but 15s should clear no problem depending on those two things
