  • Welcome to the valley. Relax, take off all your shoes, and enjoy some soothing video games. Check the description below for more info.
    I stream daily from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. Eastern Time.
    Current game schedule:
    Mon - Mad Max (NES)
    Tue - Simple 2000 Series Vol. 94: The Aka-Champion - Come on Baby (PS2)
Wed - Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! (SNES)
    Thu - Animal Crossing (GameCube)
    Fri - Arx Fatalis (Xbox)
Sat - Assorted Sega Saturn games
Sun - Games sent to my PO Box
    Chat rules:
    No harassment.
No racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, fatphobia, or other such things.
    No overtly sexual comments.
    No self-promotion unless given permission.
No spamming (this includes asking the same question over and over.)
No backseat gaming if the "No Backseat Gaming" cloud is displayed on the TV (unless help is asked for!)
    No gimmick accounts.
Is it your birthday? We have a machine for that. Please read the following if you'd like to enter your name into the Birthday Machine queue.
The machine is turned on around 12 a.m. ET (one hour into the stream.) You must enter your name into the queue -before- then.
The queue is reset every day. Do not put your name in the queue unless it’s either your birthday today, or will be at midnight. No exceptions, unless I was unable to stream on your birthday.
You can enter your name, or a stream appropriate nickname / username.
Do not submit on behalf of someone else, unless they are watching the stream and cannot easily type for themselves. Also, no pets or young children.
Submitting false or joke entries will result in a channel ban. Requests to circumvent the rules will be ignored.
The chat command to enter your name into the queue is:
!BMQ Your Name, Your Birth Month and Day
So, if your name is Carmen Sandiego and your birthday is March 1st you would type:
    !BMQ Carmen, March 1
You should get a confirmation from the chat bot if the command was entered correctly. It might take a minute or two for the bot to respond, especially if the stream has just started. If you don't get a confirmation, check to make sure you typed the command correctly (and haven’t submitted too late), then give it a few minutes and try again. If the rules were followed Birthday Machine will get to your request around 12 a.m. ET.

I stream from the following systems:
    1st Gen - Magnavox Odyssey 3000
    2nd Gen - Atari 2600, Intellivision, ColecoVision
3rd Gen - NES, Master System, Atari 7800
    4th Gen - TurboGrafx-16 / PC Engine, Sega Genesis / CD / 32X, SNES
    5th Gen - 3DO, Atari Jaguar, Sega Saturn, PS1, Casio Loopy, N64
    6th Gen - Dreamcast, PS2, GameCube, Xbox
    7th Gen - Xbox 360, PS3, Wii
    8th Gen - Wii U, PS TV
Portable - Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, Virtual Boy, PSP
    FAQ:
(Do you use emulation?) No, I play on original hardware. For Game Boy games I use the GameCube's "Game Boy Player" attachment. For Virtual Boy games I use a modded console. For PSP games I use the PSP 3000's video output.
(Do you stream PC games?) No, I only stream console and portable games.
(What do you use to capture your gameplay?) I use a RetroTINK 5X to upscale older systems to HDMI, and an Elgato HD60S to capture the HDMI. For software I use OBS.
(Why do you play some games on "Easy" mode?) This is a very casual stream, and I play most games here in a laid-back, often suboptimal way.
(What is the music at the beginning of the stream?) Erik Satie’s Gymnopédie No. 2.
(Why aren't the games fullscreen?) Because we're in a peaceful valley.
    PO Box:
If you'd like to send me a game, you can send it to my PO Box!
I will not be able to return your game, so only mail things you intend to lose forever.
PO Box games are only played on Sundays.
Double check my collection, linked above. If you send a game I already have, it will not be played. If a game was released on multiple platforms, be sure to double check those platforms on my list.
If I decide a game is not suitable for the stream, it won't be played. If you're unsure if a game is suitable, ask!
Ask before sending any “M” rated games, shooters, reproduction discs or cartridges, or any game with medical themes or content. If you do not ask I will not play the game.
Do not send me games for the PS TV. I'm digital-only on that system.
If your package requires a signature I will be unable to pick it up.
