I know right?! i was just thinking that! these villians are their replacement Gaul - Gnasty Gnorc Evil Cynder - Ripto Malefor - replacemt for The Sorceress And i also see Cynder as a replacement for Elora obviously
That I agree. Even thou he's not my favorite Spyro villain the same way as Ripto isn't my favorite ether. Gaul unlike Gnasty Gnork does represent an actual challenge and threat to the heroes
4:25 - the choir here starts chanting the Latin phrase “Omnia Perdidimus” as Spyro is sucked into the Well of Souls. Those two words are likely the thoughts going through his head that push him into becoming Dark Spyro. Many of his dragon mentors have fallen. His home is no longer safe. Cynder lies on the floor, unconscious. What does Omnia Perdidimus mean, you ask...? ...I’ve lost everything.
Much like his master, Malefor, Gaul suffers from being portrayed as a pure evil villain. But strip him of this and he would be seen in a very different light: an old, tired, broken, but still evil, warrior. Imagine this. He always hated dragons for them being on the top on the world. And consumed by vengeance, he wanted a payback to them for that. Ironically he served under Malefor to fulfill that dream. Through countless battles many dragons were killed to the warlord's pleasure. However he knew that without his master, Gaul on his own could not finish his task. He needed to set Malefor free. And despite all this, it may repulse him that he serves a creature that he hates the most. He may seem pure evil, but when he knew he will fall before corrupted Spyro and his vengeance being complete, he accepted his fate, but wanted to make Spyro finish him off. At first Spyro refused, but then in cold blood killed Gaul through terrifying death of being petrified and shattered to ashes. He did not live long enough for his master to finish the job and his kind to become better than dragons. But died having the last laugh against Spyro, of whom he robbed an innocence in revenge for jeopardizing his plans. In the end Gaul died with nothing but vengeance out of spite, something what Spyro and Cynder were this close to follow when fighting Malefor years later for all atrocities the Dark Master had done to them. And shame that in the final chapter of the trilogy Gaul was never mentioned again. Spyro would fight the darkness within him, confessing to Cynder through tears that he regretted of what he had done to the ape, no matter of how evil he was, hearing his evil laugh when vulnerable. And Spyro's worst fears were the realization that the pure joy he had when killing Gaul were not coming from the darkness, but rather were his own, the thought which sickens him greatly. Malefor before the final battle would torture Spyro psychologically when mentioning Gaul, just one more similarity between them: a feeling of pleasure when killing those whom they stand against. But in the end both Spyro and Cynder would move on, something what the ape was never capable of, and defeat the great evil once and for all not out of vengeance, but righteousness, thus ultimately denying Gaul's final, posthumous chance of the destruction of his enemies forever. Why I tell all this? Because I see main antagonists as much important as main protagonists. Bad guys should be much more explored and studied with their own problems and demons than they are normally in fiction (which is harder because bad guys have much less screen time and we see the story from the good guy's point of view). And both Gaul and Malefor were too much portrayed as doomsday villains in contrast to Cynder's tragic past, to shine as villains who would not just be evil just to be defeated, but make us enjoy that they are evil, why did they chose this path, what drives them and what's most important... are they truly happy with what they got, much like Spyro?
I wish they remastered this game or least expand on the missing gaps to the series of (Los) It was my first spyro series and will always be my favourite 👍🏼
I know this boss fight overall is fairly easy, but as a kid, this was a pain in the ass purely because of how little damage you do to him with each hit.
Who also want a version for PC of all 3 triology parts? I want. Especially bc this game is way to underrated in my mind also for the soundtrack it's way to good to loose attention Like if u guess same!
When I was 6, I fell in love with Spyro, a year later, I beg my parents to get Dawn of Dragons but they didn’t get it for me. But I cried when Spyro turn into ice, I thought he died 😢😢😢😥😥😥 This is like Conker’s Bad Fur Day to me with a cliffhanger that I never play a 3rd game similar Conker didn’t get a squeal 😪😪😪😭😭😭😭💔💔💔💔
It's not exactly Ice, more like some sort of condensed energy because Time is considered a seperate element than Ice. They were technically more trapped inside a Crystal akin to Ember since Ice would clearly have melted in less than a Year and not being Gold-colored.
Am I the only one who questions that when Gaul summons a shower of fireballs, a small group of fireballs are summoned FROM Spyro? I'm pretty sure the developers reused Spyro's upgraded Fire Fury from New Beginning to here but failed to fix the bug or something
Princess Luna The Legend of Spyro The Eternal Night is a great Spyro the only annoying thing is that you do the majority of the game getting your Powers back only to have them get drained by the final battle with Gaul.
Creepypasta Version Jeff and Smile as Spyro Jane and Princess as Cynder Laughing Jack as Sparx King Anti as Gaul Dark Jeff and Dark Smile as Dark Spyro
That' right. Recorded using composite cable also known as RCA cable and yes, i remember i played this one on CRT TV not LCD, not even HD at that time. It's very old technology and so some commented my video quality sucks. Maybe they think PS2 is like PS3 picture. 😆
@Skilletforlife Nah ANB and TEN was better, Dawn of the Dragons style was trashy and too glarey, with them retainer ass teeth and cheap graphics, so nah I disagree
I love how Gaul is basically the more terrifying, more evil, and more deadly version of Gnasty Gnork.
I know right?! i was just thinking that! these villians are their replacement
Gaul - Gnasty Gnorc
Evil Cynder - Ripto
Malefor - replacemt for The Sorceress
And i also see Cynder as a replacement for Elora obviously
Wow, it makes so much sense. I didn't even realize.
That I agree.
Even thou he's not my favorite Spyro villain the same way as Ripto isn't my favorite ether. Gaul unlike Gnasty Gnork does represent an actual challenge and threat to the heroes
Gaul: Coward!
*So you have chosen... death*

Ok, that’s nice! Is there any other Latin lyrics in the soundtracks?
(I’m gonna google this stuff)
That's kinda sad, and scary

Now we need Original Spyro becoming Dark Spyro in the remastered Classic Spyro Series.
Ominous 😳
18:28 And this is how the legend of Spyro dawn of the dragon begins.
Yet hunter is gonna wait 3 years to save them. Kinda like how the good guys let han Solo stay in hibernation

I understand many “evil” characters too but I think Gaul was beyond redemption he literally smashed hundreds of dragon fetuses before they hatched…
That creature with the bow and arrow was hunter, I just now realized that.
Is hunter
Back when Spyro wasn’t Skylanders or activision
I wish they remastered this game or least expand on the missing gaps to the series of (Los)
It was my first spyro series and will always be my favourite 👍🏼
Skylanders spyro is a separate entity from the other spyros.
@@forjinator1927Classic and Legend are technically different identities too
the end is so sad...
Especially when paired with the song during the credits. I cried during it
Jeffrey Hull Thank god I'm not the only one who cried lol....
I cried my eyes out
The anguish in their eyes… they know they’re most likely going to die and there’s nothing they can do about it…
Me too
Dark Spyro: You're Master will not Return your time is over Gaul!!!
Gaul: Malefor!!!!!! HELP ME!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
I know this boss fight overall is fairly easy, but as a kid, this was a pain in the ass purely because of how little damage you do to him with each hit.
Was cheers for good work.
This series also has acquired all of the hidden items.
+Sukeroku SGAD Yes, I managed to find all the hidden items. Thank you
Who also want a version for PC of all 3 triology parts? I want. Especially bc this game is way to underrated in my mind also for the soundtrack it's way to good to loose attention
Like if u guess same!
Clearly this game is beautiful and intense, very relatable and heartbreaking.
0:16- Gaul, as much as i appreciate you trying to answer Sparx's question, i'm fairly certain Spyro doesn't smell THAT bad....
When I was 6, I fell in love with Spyro, a year later, I beg my parents to get Dawn of Dragons but they didn’t get it for me. But I cried when Spyro turn into ice, I thought he died 😢😢😢😥😥😥

I couldn't find the Dawn of the Dragons at my place. So sad that I didn't played that one.

Malefor: We meet again in 3 year ago (Malefor flying away)
I played his game when I was a teenager and I beat him multiple times.
Same
Am I the only one who questions that when Gaul summons a shower of fireballs, a small group of fireballs are summoned FROM Spyro? I'm pretty sure the developers reused Spyro's upgraded Fire Fury from New Beginning to here but failed to fix the bug or something
I'm crying now because of the song xd
I never realized that Gauls face was starting to turn to stone before the fatal blow!
I used to play this game a lot when I was 16 of age .
Dark Spyro as Nemesis prime
Gaul as Megatron
Nemesis prime: Your time is over Megatron
Spyro loses becomes a monster and malfor freed
I love this part! 4:19
Gaul was tough I didn't know how I beat him teh first time.
Doom Slayer:👉 This is End of you Gaul!!!
1:53 Funny how this is a professional developer and they leave this error/glitch in?
Lol In retrospect it leads to the nostalgia
9:10 Wow! So that explains that "The Dawn of the Dragon" is the sequel.
mandela effect: hasn't it always been CINDER?
hyperzombieRS :3 cynder is how her names spelt
No dumbass
It's Cynder not Cinder
Princess Luna The Legend of Spyro The Eternal Night is a great Spyro the only annoying thing is that you do the majority of the game getting your Powers back only to have them get drained by the final battle with Gaul.
A cinder is an object. Her name is Cynder.
Creepypasta Version
Jeff and Smile as Spyro
Jane and Princess as Cynder
Laughing Jack as Sparx
King Anti as Gaul
Dark Jeff and Dark Smile as Dark Spyro
I didn't cry then, back in 7 years I didn't cry at the ending...
WHY THE FUCK AM I CRYING NOW ?!
Because you were a kid and you used to have no sense about what was happening, now you are an adult and you can understand what is actually happening.
Wow, that renember
Last 6 minutes of 2017
Now 5
You are gonna have a hell of a time
Was this actually ripped from a CRT display? If so that's really cool

How is this 480p?
no it is not. i don't have that kinda high tech device. if youtube says it is 480p, then it's their mistakes.
You know france used to be called Gaul, right lol
wow... i didn't know that. thanks for the info
ma questa fine segnerà l' ultima avventura di spyro e cinerea
I only played the GBA version
Cause the GBA Version a lot better then the console version
I wish Dawn of the dragon was in this art style and had more time to develope... couldve had an amazing trilogy
@Skilletforlife Nah ANB and TEN was better, Dawn of the Dragons style was trashy and too glarey, with them retainer ass teeth and cheap graphics, so nah I disagree
