  • The Tour Du Mont Blanc is one of the most popular and scenic long-distance routes in Europe. It passes through France, Italy and Switzerland while circumnavigating the Mont Blanc Massif, a distance of more than 170 km with 10,000 metres of elevation gain, plus descent.
It's typically hiked in 10 or 11 days, but we'd be spending just 4 nights on the trail while travelling fast and light. This would be a training run for us in preparation for UTMB, a race that follows roughly the same route less than 3 weeks later. During the race we'd miss some of the best views while running at night, so this was our chance to really enjoy all that this incredible trail has to offer.

Jeff, I am truly grateful for your video. It inspired me to fastpack the TMB in 4 days. I trained 7 months and I was able to finish the loop in 4 days last Saturday. Thank you for inspiring me with your great work❤

The snow was still there on Bonhomme, de la Seigne and Grand Ferret. It made us moving More cautiously and it gave some delay. Other than that some mud due to heavy rain in Italy last week Thursday. I felt like a kid...😉

Me - 59, not run since late teens. Took up running (Slow jogging) last year to help with chronic back pain from a 21 year career as a paramedic... And now here I am, treadmill sessions, road running and this month I rediscovered my love for trail running and got some awesome Salomon trail shoes. This video has really inspired me, it was beautiful. Thank you so much,.

This is not just a video, seriously this is a documentary! This is absolutely magnificent, the quality of images, the flow, the music everything fits perfectly and is just so inspiring. I already know pretty well the tour so I thought I would skip some moments and I didn't get bored any minute. The best TMB video I ever watched and believe me I watched many haha! Thanks for this quality content, I can't wait to go on these trails myself next summer :)
And please make tons of videos like this is a joy to watch!

I’m not sure which is more awe inspiring, the views or your ability to weave the story with the views. Love the moment when you talked about being on the trip with Audrée, your favourite person. I’ve had those moments where it all just feels amazing with my partner, where that focus just hits. Love it! Merci, mademoiselle et monsieur.

So great watching this again after I've now done my TMB fastpacking trip (3 weeks ago)! This video was the inspiration for me to do it, and it's so nice to watch it again now and recognize some of the sections and the views! And I honestly can't wait to go back, it was just such an amazing experience.
What's definitely different when doing this early June like I did is that a) most of the high (>2200m) sections are still covered in snow (which presents some unique challenges) and b) most of the refuges and restaurants are still closed so you'll need to plan ahead a bit more food-wise; but the plus side is that it's not so busy, and most refuges still have space even if you book just a few months (or weeks) in advance.
Jeff and Audrée, thanks again for making this, it's really been such an inspiration!
