THANKS ONCE AGAIN FOR THESE LOVELY SEVENTY GAMES.
Glad you like them!
Such lovely innocent times
This was the season before I started watching the Albion. You can see the support that Brighton had in those days. The Goldstone held well over 30,000. The ground looks packed. There must have been 33 / 35000 jammed in!
went to this game,as a 12 year old.stood in the northeast corner..just remember being really cold..
My god like a different planet the early 70s.....
Went to the Chelmsford vIpswich game I was 6 . I believe there was over 16,000 in attendance .
Great footage from Chelmsford
great rough house stuff, Sperrit started it
has David Ellorry seen the Brighton v Chelsea game ? in the interests of balance he should after his verdict on the 1970 FA Cup final replay, under todays stricter conditions anyone can see a few more red cards would have been dished out.
great
As was always the case with Jimmy Hill, one just wanted him to shut up
42/ 43 mins - when did stoke and man city meet in LC semi final ?
1963-64
Back when you were allowed to retaliate to being hit
I don't think Jimmy Hill should give up his day job. Ken Wolstenholme should have commentated instead. Much better.
Wolstenholme was a BBC man. Hill didn't join the BBC till years later.
Different TV channel. Brian Moore was the best football commentator on TV in my opinion.
@@stephengoulding1595second only to the late, great John Motson
Jimmy Hill was a pain in the ass. A self righteous and holier than thou pedant
Wolstenholme was rubbish
Osgood was miles off side, lol.
