I'm a liberal. I refuse to call myself a 'Democrat' because I never want to feel forced to vote for a candidate who's unfit to serve simply because he or she is a Democrat. For example, I'd much prefer a moderate like "the Governator" Mr. Schwarzeneggar over a total crook like Rob Blagoyovich. In any case, our system REQUIRES each major party to have a viable, rule of law respecting, and LOYAL opposition party in order to prevent the other side from dragging the nation over the cliff from too much power. Look what a 6-3 majority of right wing EXTREMISTS has done to the SCOTUS! And 'beliefs' are simply that: BELIEFS. They are not TRUTH. They are not FACTS. And in that respect, beliefs should NEVER be the foundation of good and just government. If one's beliefs cause them to be against abortion because a person BELIEVES -- based on no actual science or other knowledge -- that a fetus is a "living person," then they are at all times enjoy the freedom not to engage in the practice of aborting a pregnancy. That is something that is between them and their god, which is also just a BELIEF and not any proven or known existent thing. We will never agree on the existence of God or not, and not even which "God" is THE God, for crying out loud. But FACTS exist in this world, and those are things we must agree upon if we are to live together in peace.
If you’re truly republican, then you have to realize the left does not make distinction to you and other people on the right. They see all of us as enemies to be trampled on and silenced. The only politics that matter nowadays is friend/foe distinction. That’s it, the left does not care.

Both Heritage and Mr. Trump have made it extremely clear." Thus, it's clear this is not Trump's policy -- rather it is policy from a think tank. I've learned recently Trump spoke at one of this group's conventions BEFORE P2025 was released, the caveat there is that many politicians speak at many places.

Project 2025 legitimately scares me. We should keep in mind that even if the next president is not a republican, the next one or the one after that could be and all they need to do is to dust this plan off and maybe make some minor adjustments to it. I'm not much of a political guy, nor do I label myself either Republican or Democrat, but I don't know if I know a single Republican friend of mine who sees this plan as a positive. It does not seem to align with Republican values at all, at least looking at it from an external perspective. They say they're more about less federal gov't overreach. This sounds more like text built by people who are religious with the Republican label... like hardcore Conservatives. I know this sounds like a slippery slope, and I'm careful to tread lightly with that kind of thing, but this actually kind of sounds dangerous.
I see what you are saying. I am a Christian. And, I happen to be further right than Trump's supporters. I was going to go into how, but I don't want to make my comment about that. I have my views. Views that I believe will bring this country out of the mire it is in. However, I do not believe those views should be forced on anybody.
Perhaps the word "conservative" should be replaced by the word "authoritarian". There is quite a lot in this blueprint that political conservatives of 20 or 30 years ago would find repugnant. This project is intended to give great control to a small group of people -- mostly men, who think they'd rather be living in the 1950's.

Please do not ignore the sections of Project 2025 on education. They are devastating to current and future public education, including abolishing the Department of Education as a starter.
Centralized education is a main plank of communism. The Dept of Ed needs to vanish. Since the DoE came into existence the US has dropped to 33 in world education standards.
Sounds like the supreme court already started with some of the proposed subjects on 2025: to start presidential immunity, plus right for women to chose about their bodies, and they have also have restricted EPA's authority to fight air and water pollution.
Presidential immunity protects presidents past, present, and future. Unless you want to see Clinton, Bush, Obama, and Biden see jail time. As for women chosing what's happening to their bodies, for the exception of sexual assault, is more of a social issue than you think where it's better to get an abortion than making sure not getting pregnant in the first place. SCOTUS didn't restrict EPA's authority as it's making sure they have better oversight. If a city office has to go to their city council for any changes that directly affects the public, then so should a federal department go to a congression oversight committee.

Some of us are old enough to remember life before the EPA instituted some of those "ridiculous regulations". Reagan tried something similar but not as far reaching. He would appoint people to agencies who were opposed to the work of that agency. e.g., an oilman in charge of the Environmental Protection Agency. The oilman's, that is of course, the agency's advice was always anti-EPA and the President could say "Well, the EPA says it wants this."

Thank you for educating the public on the facts and the concerns regarding Project 2025. Voters must understand that our government's checks and balances are there for a reason. We may not agree with every single thing the government does, but we cannot risk the loss of the division of powers. For this reason, we must not vote for Donald Trump.
We the people are meant to have the power. Gov employees work for us. And their Mandate literally will not allow anyone outside their political party to work for the government. How long before we will be allowed in schools, there won't be Aid for very long but anything that might help people won't be given to anyone not loyal to Trump either, whether they call it that or do like Trump did when he ordered the slowdown of getting passports to those from Afganistan, who helped us while we were there so they would not come thru before we finished pulling out. They were the people hanging from the planes, and why Trump bragged he was responsible, then tried saying it was Biden's fault. Technically, Trump didn't stop them from getting out, just made it impossible for them to get visas into here on time to get out, and made a deal with Isis behind their back they could do as they pleased with whoever got left.

This is the first time in my life that I have genuinely felt afraid after digging deeper and looking into, what I initially thought, was a sensationalized news story. Typically I dont trust the content in the news to be accurate and even less so for RUclips videos, yet the reality of what is being actively laid out in Project 2025 only just sunk in after watching the video. This. Is. Horrifying. Thank you for creating this.
I am terrified by the WHO international treaty that will strip many nations rights in one sweep, which includes lock downs, inability to travel, they can take your property if it serves the needs of whatever emergency they deem and that is not only health issues but climate issues. Then Agenda 2030 which says you will own nothing and be happy. There is a lot worse being pushed by those in power world wide right now.

As a Christian, I disagree with project 2025. Christianity isn't and should not be forced. It doesn't and cannot work that way. As a country founded on freedom, I am scared they are taking away checks and balances and replacing it with loyalists.

You do a good job of stating things objectively, as it is written in project 2025 and then you give a good amount of time and space for the objections. You need to read Barbara F. Walter's book "How Civil Wars Start and How to Stop Them." This will help you a lot. She is the number one Civil War expert in the world.

I'm a Christian conservative. I've major concerns over abolishing abortion. Making abortion limited or illegal altogether will only create a garage industry out of abortion where we will see the re emergence of back ally and basement abortion clinics across the country. As per a moral right or wrong? The damage was done many, many years ago. Going backward will only make the issue much, much worse, and not only see the number of abortions to remain the same but add additional deaths of women seeking abortion from illegal clinics. We are at an empasant and should do anything to avoid making the situation worse. Make 3rd trimester abortions illegal again and possibly reduce the number of abortions an individual can get to reduce abortions as birth control. I think any life lost is abhorrent, but I just can't support risking more lives in an attempt to save them. This seems like shooting those who would commit suicide to prevent suicide.

The problem is that people like you don’t understand how the government work. The US government has check and balances that prevents many things from happening and it is done so to prevent a tyrannical government from forming. With that said the Supreme Court ruled that the main federal government can’t impose any laws regarding abortion and that only states have the power over that issue, like they should. This mean that no president can’t do anything about abortion because it has been stated that the president has no power over that only the states can and the only way republicans could do anything about abortion is if they are in power and even if they did something about abortion it can be reverted if the people voted for the opposite in their state. In the end you and everyone buying this project 2025 bs have nothing to fear because many of what’s in those documents can’t be challenged in the courts and can’t be applied because then the president would be over reaching his power and that can be easily challenged in court where there the president will fail, just like Biden did with the student loans.

One of the problems I have with the 180 Day Playbook is that there seems to be a lot of emphasis on undoing the previous administrations policies. The implication here is there won't be any regard for the merit of the policy. It'll be reversed arbitrarily just because it was implemented by the opposing party.

Sounds like the supreme court already started with some of the proposed subjects on 2025: to start presidential immunity, plus right for women to chose about their bodies, and they have also have restricted EPA's authority to fight air and water pollution.
Presidential immunity protects presidents past, present, and future. Unless you want to see Clinton, Bush, Obama, and Biden see jail time. As for women chosing what's happening to their bodies, for the exception of sexual assault, is more of a social issue than you think where it's better to get an abortion than making sure not getting pregnant in the first place. SCOTUS didn't restrict EPA's authority as it's making sure they have better oversight. If a city office has to go to their city council for any changes that directly affects the public, then so should a federal department go to a congression oversight committee.

Reagan tried something similar but not as far reaching. He would appoint people to agencies who were opposed to the work of that agency. e.g., an oilman in charge of the Environmental Protection Agency. I'm a Christian conservative. I've major concerns over abolishing abortion. Making abortion limited or illegal altogether will only create a garage industry out of abortion where we will see the re emergence of back ally and basement abortion clinics across the country. As per a moral right or wrong? The damage was done many, many years ago. Going backward will only make the issue much, much worse, and not only see the number of abortions to remain the same but add additional deaths of women seeking abortion from illegal clinics. We are at an empasant and should do anything to avoid making the situation worse. Make 3rd trimester abortions illegal again and possibly reduce the number of abortions an individual can get to reduce abortions as birth control. I think any life lost is abhorrent, but I just can't support risking more lives in an attempt to save them. This seems like shooting those who would commit suicide to prevent suicide.

The problem is that people like you don’t understand how the government work. The US government has check and balances that prevents many things from happening and it is done so to prevent a tyrannical government from forming.
With that said the Supreme Court ruled that the main federal government can’t impose any laws regarding abortion and that only states have the power over that issue, like they should. This mean that no president can’t do anything about abortion because it has been stated that the president has no power over that only the states can and the only way republicans could do anything about abortion is if they are in power and even if they did something about abortion it can be reverted if the people voted for the opposite in their state.
In the end you and everyone buying this project 2025 bs have nothing to fear because many of what’s in those documents can’t be challenged in the courts and can’t be applied because then the president would be over reaching his power and that can be easily challenged in court where there the president will fail, just like Biden did with the student loans.
President Trump has reiterated his view of leaving abortion issues with the states, local control is always best in my opinion.

One of the problems I have with the 180 Day Playbook is that there seems to be a lot of emphasis on undoing the previous administrations policies. The implication here is there won't be any regard for the merit of the policy. It'll be reversed arbitrarily just because it was implemented by the opposing party.

We're a constitutional republic, not a democracy. This video doesn't mean anything and just goes over the basics of it. What scares me, and many conservatives, is removing the burden of guilt from doing bad thing by passing federal laws to make doing those things legal. As a nation, we are condoning immorality. Our founding fathers believed that religion was a pillar on which our nation sits, because religion is unchanging with regards to morality. When people define good and evil on their own terms, by cultural populatiry, then good and evil are just replacements for popular and unpopular. Legalizing something doesnt make it good, it only relieves the burden of guilt from doing the thing.
