You should also mention that the job market for CS/Software engineering is very competitive and toxic. When in electrical engineering the average age for an electrical engineer is 40 years old which means in the upcoming years the job market for ee will be huge.
@@MonayemAbir AI hype isnt really for EE. The only thing that EE benefits from AI is the server side of things. Each server contains a lot of physical hardware. Guess who develops and designs such hardware?
Your channel is getting ridiculously well. I've shared this to my friend. This is simple entertainment for me Gradually, you'll get there the top! Good show.
Currently an EE major trying to switch out of it. Looked at a ton of videos and this one broke it down the best. I loved the prestige section and because of that I'm now leaning more towards SE. Still can't decide which major to pick... it's literally your life. Still considering CE,CS but SE is my #1 right now.
This comment is a few months old but there's one thing you may want to consider. An Electrical engineer can always become a software developer. You will take programming classes as part of your degree. A software developer cannot always become an electrical engineer as they are missing much of the rigorous math and calculations that go into designing electronics. If you can't decide you could choose EE. Or if you want a blend of both go with Computer Engineering.
I would just like to know which pays more? I like electrical engineering im very into this part of physics but i also like technology Software Engineering etc. And as a criteria im using the salary in order to pick one
I think I'm going to Software Engineer because it is high indemand jobs and salary in Philippines and I want to learn code and create the software solutions that need for improvement to technology industry
@@galg4590 But that only solidifies it being the best of both world's, because you either learn both to some degree in CE or learn only the basics regarding EE when taking SWE or SWE when taking EE. People with CE degrees are still able to obtain SWE and EE roles at the likes of Apple and Tesla, if the caliber of job you obtain is largely the same, then you'll most likely end up learning more in your career then you would simply taking those upper-level courses.
@@WeatherxCalipha I see, thanks for clarifying it for me. Anyway, I decided on SWE. I realize that I will better excel at and enjoy logic and programming rather than electronics and physics.

Electrical is a lot more math and physics intensive but if you find interest in magnetism and electricity the do electrical!!

Good point. It also depends which parts of the world you are referring to.

@@EngineeringGoneWild Very true, what I said only applies to first world countries sadly.
@@NativeBox is EE more viable option now since all the AI hype we are seeing? what do you think

That video is so underrated, you explained very well, thank you bro❤

Good show.
🎉Awesome in patiently explaining the similarities and differences. I can narrow it down now.

Glad you found this video helpful! Deciding on a major is part of the college experience haha. You can't go wrong with any of those : )

@@circletech7745 I don’t think a software engineer would want to work in the electrical field, as that’s not their passion and the pay is lower.
Hey why do u wanna switch to software from electrical pls 😅
What made you want to switch out of EE?
With ai im sure this has changed a lot for job growth and security.
MashaAllah very nice 👍🏻 keep it up 🌹 thank you so much for sharing ❤️ good luck 👍🏻 stay connected dear friend ❤️🇮🇳

Then enter computer engineering, it’s computer science and software engineering combined
Hello! I went for software engineering because I’m interested in Aerospace systems & space technology. Is it related ?

Electric and eloctronic engineering Good?
Yes it is better because you can get government job in core branches
Software engineering Good?
no

I can't decide ugh
How about Computer engineering?
