i just pulled a 99 engine and put a part store head on the block to put into my 2000. found a 97 engine to save the 99 haha

1988 yj, stuck lifter. Didnt see a lot of lubrication on top so figure oil pump or cam bearings worn out. Its mostly new, so might as well give it some new parts. Yes get the extra vehicles out of the drive so you can do what you want.

@@ProjectDanH That countdown on my Instagram is a digital Family calendar set up using Raspberry Pi Zero W's. That that is set up to show weather, US Holidays (countdown), Important family events (countdown), and our calendar with a family photo album routing in the background. I have another on next to it with a Clock, date and time and a to do list and a bill list. And another family photo album on rotation in the background. All of it cost me about $30 total and about an hour of my time programming the Raspberry Pi's

I’ve never owned a jeep 4.0 so I’ve. Ever done a head and there isn’t a lot of content I’ve found regarding this
@@FattHoLLiday ahhh you got the 0331 head. Don't worry brother you can do it! When your lifting it off inside the jeep make sure you have a helper.. they're heavy!
Funny. Because I just finished rebuilding my 99 4.0l. The one thing that we should be aware of. pull the the wiring harness and rebuild it. The wires are very old and tend to crack and separate.
They're definitely getting brittle in their old age!

Well that kinda sucks that your getting rid or got rid of the ZJ. I own a 93 Zj 4.0 and not to many ppl own them! Wish I knew ppl or places that have all kinds of info about them. Thx.

I assume you are, but are you aware of the viper coil pack mod? That way you could use the 630 head.

@@ProjectDanH A rainwater leak damaged the remote control receiver card, find the solution and replace the electric diesel pump with another mechanism
What's your thoughts on 4.6 stroker engine? Would it be a good DD?
I feel like if its built well a 4.7 can be more reliable than a turbo or supercharger. Not sure your wallet would be happier with gas prices tho. lol
What years are theses heads known to crack? Thanks
2000 and 2001 were the bad years, it was the 0331 casting.
In 2002 they strengthened the 0331 head for the WJ and TJ, its known as the 0331 TUPY. Chances are that because its 20 years later, if you have a 2000 or 2001 the 0331 head has been replaced
