Amazing! Thanks for the detailed video bro! I have an old Coleman powermate, which may indeed be a brand change, but this EXACTLY like my machine fuel pump...😎👍
I just opened up my fuel pump and found no small springs. I've owned this generator new since 1999 and never opened the pump prior to this. I've ordered a rebuild kit. I'll have to figure out where these springs go.
ya 2 little that seemed to only fit one way and 1 large. Check to make sure the plastic elbow on the carb is is in good shape it ws not on this one leaked gas allover weird to change but easy @@novakenss
ya this one was like new after degunking it i was surprised @@novakenss Does your engine make the oil grayish in color? this one does its either blowing up or its moisture.. maybe or just breaking in because it looks like it has not been used much

YA all the flat head briggs are like this. If you break these pumps you need to use the newer round style that does not even fit well

they just go in the small pockets are shown. Not sure if they rot over time or just get sucked out
I too found no small springs in my 1998 pump. The big spring and the ring sprung out on the shed floor.
Mine has no springs in it at all. Previous owner must have taken them out. I have a kit coming. thanks for the clues and video.
ya of they dissolve over time Not sure what the history is I found this one in the trash Still have it
Hope to get the rebuild kit soon. Friends generator needs lots of help. I will get the 3 springs right. @@GhettoWagon

The carb was so corroded, I bought a new one with a new inlet fitting.
