      @Ryan Junkin no wiring needed, it’s all pre wired so plug and play like in the video

    Nice video! I have my fireplace setup with smart remote control using an add on controller (so I can say Alexa turn the fireplace on) but do have an extra power outlet down there that I wondered what it was for. Now it makes sense. This will be my next add on

      Do you have a system that you don't have to have an outlet for? Would love to know more about this if you do.

    so, where did you move the sensor to?

    My gas fireplace looks like its intended for the blower to be mounted in the tip compartment. The top compartment has the power receptacle, and there's absolutely no room for a blower in the bottom. Can't find a similar setup me tinned anywhere though

    Hey man, thanks for the video. How is the fan holding up and does adding the blower help to heat the room? About to pull the trigger on this blower, thx

      Holding up great and definitely helps heat the living room up quicker on these sub freezing nights.

    You made it look easy! I'll order on based on your video. Do you have a shot of where the sensor wound up being placed?

      It’s behind the firewall in the center back

    Where the outlet power strip is, did you have to add a jumper wire in order for the fan outlet to work?

    • @GearKnowHow
      @GearKnowHow  Год назад

      Should be a couple of outlets under the fireplace for the electric igniter to be powered up, if not you’ll need to add them or have an electrician add one

      @@GearKnowHow thanks - I have the same power strip you do, however the “fan outlet” has no power. Reading on some other sites it sounds like you needed to add a jumper wire in the spots just below the fan outlet, but I did not see that on yours. Thanks for the response!
