- Returning to my favorite fish store, and one that just happens to sit on top of a massive african cichlid hatchery. This time Dave Hale shows us around his storefront as well, along with a separate building that's offsite that you've never seen before. This is a long video but it's worth it.

This video is great for many great reasons. Not to be the only negative guy in the room but, if you're like me and visit fish hatchery websites in search of fish, this guys web site is pure BS. Over half the listings are not hyperlinked to pictures nor much needed information about the species. We have been in the age of "Digital, audio/video Communications" for quite a while, those fish hatcheries/online stores whom invest just as much time caring for the fish as they do promoting the website in which to sell them will find sure success. I am completely annoyed looking over this website. This video actually helps the owner more than his own site. He has some great prices and abundance of various species so I will purchase a few from him. Thanks Steve for this footage. Subbed!!!

I like the way that you isolate each tank independently. I do the same in my aquarium room for the exact same reason.

It's a fantastic store.

every time I watch a Cichlid fish room tour, I sigh... there are only maybe 10-20 types of Malawi cichlids available here and my favorite haps, no one even knows their names!!!

This is a very impressive LFS. But I have a question if anyone cares to weigh in. Im curious why natives like sunfishes, darters, bass, perch, bowfin, pickeral, etc haven't ever taken off as a viable hobby fish. I have been obsessed with natives for a couple years now. I love them. Still love all the tropical guys too. But I kind of like having a tank of fish that are native to my area. Never seen these species in a LFS anywhere ever.
