I'm going to presume that Evan's seen "The Emoji Movie" several times because he'd sneak into deserted movie theaters to get out of the Midwest summer heat, and the ones for that movie were guaranteed to be empty.
Plus all the leftover popcorn and drinks people left behind when they walked out to demand a refund made for an easy meal.

The first time watching through this when he said the fact about McDonald's desserts versus their food and calorie intake My whole entire soul dropped out of my body and took me back to when I was a kid in my mom would play party with me where we would eat a bunch of McDonald's and Wendy's frosties and different desserts for dinner during the summertime when we didn't have power and our house and in the winter time we would play the camping game where my mom and me would make a blanket tent in the living room and have a fire going so that we could roast hot dogs over the fire and we were " roughing it " sleeping under blankets and such. It just it fucking knocked me out of myself

@@Butterratbee that entire sequence in unsleeping city is some of the best acting I have ever seen. Lou absolutely killed it with the "I AM faithful, I WAS faithful, I would've CONTINUED to be faithful" was mwah, so fucking good.
Half of Evan and Jammer's interactions come from Brennan and Lou being talented actors, comedians, and improvisors, and the other half just comes from them being actual real best friends, and I think that's beautiful.
Brennan's voice crack on "family" when they do "family on 6" gets me every time. It feels so real. I just love these characters so much!
Even going from never pulling out his wand to "Anyone that fuckin looks at jammer is getting a fuckin mouth full of whatever comes out of this wand" feels so good

Saddest thing even ever sad.
I love that at 10:20 you can see Brennen was fully prepared to continue his angry and dramatic rant, even if it meant directing it at Jammer, but then Lou hit him with "I got no problem with you going off on this kid" and it completely changed the trajectory of the interaction. And then Dream just sealed the deal with "Issues" said around a wand in her mouth 😂

I think one of the dopest things to see was Kelmp going from saying things like “T-O-ed”(ticked off) because he sees it as cursing and doesn’t curse, to just full on screaming “fucking” and using it casually.
I mean, I feel like part of that was just his rage demons coming out to play? But yeah, he adjusts fast.
It's so good to see Brennan and Lou vibe man. They're so keyed in to each other and I love their healthy male bonding so much. Also: comedy genius duo. Role models, both of them.

I love going back and watching this season. I just love watching Brennan be able to play with Lou. You can tell there are really moments like this in aCoFaF when Squak says "look at us, the perfect 1-2" and Hob replying with "We should do this more often 😊"
I adore this series so much because they were immediately ride or die for my man Evan. That found family shit is so good and Lou got to shine so much in this

I always feel so related to their interactions. Alot of my best friends to this day were the weird kids that I gathered around me. Now I dont think I talk to any of the "cool kids" anymore and the weirdoes are my life long best friends. Jammer and Evan are one definitely of my top D20 friendships.
Just finished Misfits and Magic and loved everything and everyone so much. I’ve sought out that scene at the beginning of ep 4 a few times after finishing the season, and honestly, every single time I hear Jammer say “We bodied it, I can’t say that enough - and if it comes back, we’ll body it again, and we’ll body it every day we have to, until it realizes that it doesn’t win in this house” I tear up. It’s so fucking good. Honorable mention to Sam for her speech on friendship immediately after.
When Lou Wilson causes Brennan to break it's fucking gold. I've seen Brennan on breaking news that shit is hard to do

Evan Kelmp is genuinely one of my favorite characters in any of the series, I’m just,, obsessed with him. I can’t even express why in detail. Him and Ayda Aguefort (who I have a detailed and in depth reason as to why I love her so dearly) are my two favorites and I love them with my whole heart

I could see it happening. It's a good introduction to Shonen anime if you've never seen one before but have seen Marvel stuff.
