I did rescue for many years. I changed so many dogs. I had so many people ask how I could let such a great dog go. Cesar hit the nail on the head about rescue. I always told those people that it was never my dog, I was just keeping it healthy and happy till is real home found him. Those dogs walked off, heads held high and never looked back. It's not about what we invest in fosters, it's about preparing them for the home they were meant to be in.

After watching this video, I felt so bad for Titan. Dogs and Children can sense chaos between their parents. It was so sad to see Titan run in the crate, he wanted out of there ASAP! Brent is such a great person trying so hard to make things work with Titan. It's important to work together with your partner when you see them trying. I hope Brent found a partner who really appreciates him and hope Titan gets the peace he deserves.

👏🏻 Fantastic. I wish more trainers would be 💯 with owners, and say this dog is not the right fit for you. Often in Rescue, people need to respectfully asked if there is cognitive dissonance going on, in that they see the time/effort/money they invested and think that they failed if the dog is not a good fit. Instead, they need to realize the important part they played in that dogs life, and that it is time to let go so the dog and owner can find the right fit for each other. Much like in human relationships too.

Exactly she CAN'T physically control that dog when he loose control. And he WILL loose control. If you are a good owner you have to take that into account. You have to be prepared for the worse. You need to be able to overpower your dog in any situation. Doesnt matter if it is rehabilitated, doesnt matter if it is the best trained dog. They are predatory animals guided by instinct, and APBT breed do have one of the strongest focus and instincts. She just doesn't have the physical or mental strength to deal with that dog.

This was not a compatible couple and I’m relieved they saw this and parted ways. Although I know this was painful for Brent, she was not in love with him. Better to discover this now. 👏🏻 Fantastic. I wish more trainers would be 💯 with owners, and say this dog is not the right fit for you. Often in Rescue, people need to respectfully asked if there is cognitive dissonance going on, in that they see the time/effort/money they invested and think that they failed if the dog is not a good fit. Instead, they need to realize the important part they played in that dogs life, and that it is time to let go so the dog and owner can find the right fit for each other. Much like in human relationships too.
