I'll never understand why this is only 12% on Rotten Tomatoes, it deserves so much more love. This is one of the funniest films I've ever seen. Martin Lawrence and Raven-Symoné are fantastic, and the pig is easily the best part. Thank you so much for checking out this childhood classic.

They were already part of 3LW. Raven got brought in later to make the Cheetah Girls

My dad is a lot like this dad. Hardcore helicopter parent, so when I went to college I went to Boston University which was an hour away from my house, but I knew he hated driving into the city so it worked out 😂

The super chipper singing dad is Donnie Osmond. He was part of a famous, sibling, singing group in '70s (think The Jacksons but white). You'd probably know him better as the man who sang, "Be A Man" from Mulan. Our generation doesn't give him enough credit for that song, considering we all sing it whenever we hear it lol...
bro I owned this dvd! I subjected my family to this many a-time. Raven was my childhood fave/hero, and I was also aging out of disney channel as I was in grade 8, so this was kind of the last disney channel movie I fell in love with before I mostly stopped enjoying them as a teenager (I've circled back around to enjoying them again, as it typically goes lmao). I have a real soft spot for this movie!

I'm 23 and this movie is what encouraged me to go to college when I was little lol. I wanted to be just like Raven-Symone! It's funny because in the beginning of the movie her dad chose a school for her that was 40 minutes from home and my dad chose a school for me that is 20 minutes from home 🤣 I definitely feel a connection to this movie.

I decided I never wanted to go to college, so I slacked off in all my high school classes and played video games. Fast forward 20 years later, and I have 3 degrees, 5 majors (including video game design), multiple certifications, and I'm an English teacher. God has a sense of humor!

I would always randomly think of this movie every year 😂 truly underrated
Not in college, but years ago I shared a house with three other girls and when one of them moved out to get married we replaced her with an acquaintance who was not upfront about her habits/OCD. She insisted that we let the dishes pile up until the sink was full to "do the job all at once", hoarded dirty dishes in her bedroom until another housemate complained about the smell, refused to let any of us throw away moldy food she had in the fridge because there was a proper way to dispose of it and it was her shelf therefore her responsibility, got offended and "felt like a child" when we had to do her chores for her (without asking her) because the house was so filthy because she wasn't doing her part (usually the dishes), her laundry piles took over half the basement and she wouldn't clean because she was scared of chemicals mixing. I ended up moving out to get married myself but it was so stressful and I was in no way prepared to live with someone who had so many mental health issues. After two months of trying I spent 90% of my time at home in my room, even eating, and started using the upstairs bathroom with my other two housemates so that I could use a bathroom that others helped keep clean (before that I shared the basement bathroom with the new housemate, and it quickly became so disgusting that I couldn't keep up with cleaning and she never cleaned it, never even took out the trash till it had been overflowing for weeks). I want to give her the benefit of the doubt, but sometimes it seemed that the excuse of her diagnosis was used to get her way, whether she realized it or not. It seemed like she refused to compromise because she had OCD and we should accommodate her needs/wants because of that. She just wasn't ready to live with other people and it made for a tense living situation for all of us. Moral of the story, as with all roommate stories, do your research, draw your boundaries and get to know the person before you sign a lease.

Billy, I wish I was kidding when I say I had a roommate in college who went around to collect dead birds for a study and kept them in our mini fridge. She also would collect her trash on her desk for weeks at a time.
Only went to college for 2 years. But boy did i have a ball those 2 years 😂. Aside from the school work, that was a crazy experience. Safe to say i got my moneys worth 😂

I went to uni in Canada, 3 hours away from home. went to a place that had a reputation as a 'party' school. However, I was a complete homebody in love with anime and nothing else so I never went out or made friends...in Canada 😏 In 3rd year I went on exchange to a uni in england and met a guy who became my best friend and he dragged me out to pub crawls and then I went out ALL the time. I got drunk for the first time, had my first club hookup for the first time, the whole shebang. I honestly had an absolute blast and also developed an insane tolerance for alcohol. never got into trouble but did discover I actually had rhythm and could dance! do you know how embarrassing it is to be of Caribbean descent, convinced you can't dance, and then to unlock your ability to dance after getting drunk with a bunch of white guys in England? 😂 and no, it's not just that /they/ thought I could dance. when I returned to canada I tested out my new skills and had my dance ability peer reviewed by other black people 😂
This is my friends college experience. The roommate that she had in her first year would bring her boyfriend into their room every single night. You don’t have to guess what they were doing.

I’m about to graduate with my MBA from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) and I’m only an hour away from home. The distance worked for me because it gives me a little space to be an adult but I could still visit home whenever I needed to!
