About Married with Children:
The less-than-lovable Bundys are a radical departure from the saccharine-sweet TV families popular since the days of Father Knows Best. With offbeat humor and unflinching honesty, Married... paints a more realistic picture of middle-class existence, warts and all. Al Bundy (Ed O'Neill) is a shoe salesman who is fond of frequently reliving his doubtful 15 seconds of fame on the football field. Al is terrified of the all-too-frequent amorous advances of his ditsy wife Peggy (Katey Sagal), who spends most of Al's wages at the salon and the mall. They have two teenage kids: stunning but superficial party animal Kelly (Christina Applegate) and egocentric Bud (David Faustino). Married for 16 semi-blissful years, Peggy and Al have found that the secret to a happy marriage is to accept one another's idiosyncrasies.

You cut it before the best line.
Peggy: Al you are a pig
Al: Yeh but it won’t be me squealing those 40 hours in labour. 😂😂😂😂😂
You can't buy that for half a mil.
Us guys agree on your comment 😂😂😂
I love how Kelly is the only one who can understand her father's mumbles. 😂
She sometimes has her own interpretations though!
And she takes care of him. Beautiful little father - daughter connection in THIS show
Snortly heave 🤣
Always loved their relationship
@@nocturnalrecluse1216 hardly breathe
I do love that line, "I was Al Bundy."
He was all.bundy 🤭🤭🤭🤭 now is old 😂😂
"I was Al Bundy." LOL, gotta remember that one.
01:35
This was an epic troll of NBA players and professional athletes who would answer press questions in the third person. Instead of 3rd person, Al answers in the past tense.
Yes, hold the applause. 😂
Can you address this [baseball] to "The Late Al Bundy"? 🤣
This was a very underrated episode. From the Uncle Gang joke to him tricking Peg into thinking she was pregnant, this is gold.
"I barely touched her, and I had you two"
One of the best lines of the entire show.
I loved the ending of this episode. Al deserved that revenge after what Peggy did to him
Why ? Because it was not the original storyline
@@lexkanyima2195 what was the original storyline?
@@melissacooper4282 the original storyline was that Katey Sagal was actual pregnant so they made a storyline in real life to make a annoucement by breaking the 4th wall i'm pregnant
"You can't buy that for half a mil."
He should get revenge like that more often.
Al got Peggy good with that . Hilarious 😂
Daddy says he can't do it anymore you're killing him🤣🤣
He also says he can snargly heathe… oops I mean hardly breathe.
Al,that's a half a million dollars, you could get cable with that kinda money. Daddy said let's🤣 boogie@@MrBrando07
I laughed to the point of tears on that one lol
He can shortly heave.
When Al told Kelly and Bud to leave him a second time they knew that he meant business.
"Leave me." 'Daddy--" "I said LEAVE ME!"
One of my favorite Al Bundy's line was directed at Peg" Why would I go out for milk when I have a cow at home "
Peg: Did you miss me Honey?
Al: With every bullet so far.
@@im1who84u When my wife's friend comes over and asks if I missed her I always reply with that exact quote, that is what makes Al Bundy the King
@@jeffmonin6920 This is my all time favorite lines from all the "Married with Children" episodes.
The kids have just pooled their money together, bought a car, and they plan on sharing it. They are off screen and you can hear them already arguing over the car.
Kelly: Don't touch the car, I don't know where your hands have been.
Bud: Well then, I don't want you sitting on it.
😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
The absolute, GREATEST!!!!! Television Show of All Time.
Nothing comes a close second.
“..Leave me”
“But, Dad..”
*LEAVE ME!!*
😂
Itinerary tears run down my cheeks wirh laughter when he says that
this was one of my all-time favorite episodes! Peg had this coming... lol I love AL
Man they're both awful to each other
The way he hisses "Leave me" had me rolling
3:29
Al said..."be right there Punny."
I'm guessing it was a mixture between Peg and Honey😆
They clipped the best part at the end.
“You can’t buy that for half a million dollars.”
Oh god, it’s AUNT ZELDA!!!
I noticed that too two of my favorites married with children and sabrina the teenage witch
I love the payback Al did to Peggy! Funny ending!
@dwood78part2 - I agree with you. After all, for what "Peg" had been supposedly obsessed with money for years, I wondered why would she take so many birth-control pills just to avoid having a baby and not realizing that there is money to be made there?
"Leave me. LEAVE ME!"🤘🍸🍸
Feed me,
Wash me,
Unlock my door
😂
"Wouldn´t it be great if we get twins?!"
"I feeeel FAAAAAAT!"
"Oh honey, that just means more of ya to love!"
Al turned into Billy Idol haha!
Fitting. "She wanted more, more, more..."
Money money
Peggy had her fun.
Now...its Al's turn.
NOW we start *Ennio Morricone music*
I really think sometimes that Katey Sagal was even funnier than Ed O'Neil in this show, although that shouldn't even be possible lol. But the chemistry between them and indeed ALL the actors in this show was just phenomenal.
"I feeeell FAAAAATTTTT" --- epic
All? Even Ed & Amanda? 😳
@@edwardgaines6561 Well, Amanda and Ed hated each other IRL, which is in this cases exactly the right chemistry :)
Remember, despite what they all say and do, it was made clear several times that they still love each other. The Bundys that is. Marcy was just accepted by Al because she was friends with Peggy and Al with her husbands, also she was a great target for his jokes, but he always hated her, no exception.
Amanda Bearse and Ed O’Neill only started feuding towards the end of the shows run. It wasn’t all 11 seasons.
@@man-bagdammit2297 Maybe. But Ed said in an interview that Amanda has always been mean to him on set. I'm guessing he didn't say anything at the beginning.
First Al makes Peggy think she's pregnant & then he says all of those Loving & Wonderful things to her.
Way to go AL !!! 😂😂😂
3:24 Always great when Bud flinches.
Best vengence ever...
Greatest sitcom ever
It's good that Al gets even in the end!
Peggy got what was coming 2 her.
@@nataliegillmore7436 so true
When he said leave me I knew he wasnt happy
When I was a kid I didn’t understand what happened to Al. Now it all makes sense. 🤣🤣
Very smart the lawyer 💰💰🤣🤣🤣
You cut out before the end when Al said, “Tomorrow I’ll shrink all her clothes.”.
They cut off the part where Al says "how about a nice dish of peas and clams". lmao
Kelly: Daddy says he can snardly heave.
Al: mumbles...
Kelly: I meant hardly breathe!
LEAVE ME!!!!! Al Bundy at his most savagest.
Best episode of them all. Can't buy that for half a mil.
so nice to watching it again
watched 20 years ago on tv
watched it 10 ears ago on dvd
now i m glad i m sharing it with everyone via internet
ps there was more on that scene, they ended it too soon
Love this episode. Absolutely hilarious
"Leave me." Lol
AL BUNDY IS THE KING!!
Woman at door: hi, Im looking for Al Bundy.
Al: I was Al Bundy. 😂😂😂😂
Al Bundy can make anything look and sound funny!!!!
The best line was cut off - Peg: "Al you are a pig" Al: "Yeah but it won't be me squealing those 40 hours of labor."
Actually, the line about clams and peas cracks me up.
@@gladfan1989 oh mother of god *vomits*
At the end of the episode he says, "Tomorrow I'll shrink all her clothes!" The writing for this series was at its peak during seasons 3-5.
Al was pretty brilliant in this episode!
My fave part was when Al convinced Peg she was pregnant... Knowing she wasn't😂
The only time Al would trust Kelly over Bud is when it comes to recognizing birth control pills
Yeah Kelly gives their dad that look like who you going to believe.
Al got his revenge in the end he deserved it
Revenge? Who wouldn't want to make Peggy pregnant? 😘
"Al, you're a pig!"
"It won't be me squealing for those 40 hours of labor!"
"Tomorrow, I'll shrink all her clothes.... you can't buy that for half a mil!"
In the thumbnail to this video, Al looked like Matthew McConaughey. I was like what?
My favorite t,v show ever the whole cast is funny
Al actually looks sharp with gray hair.
Kelly looked at Al like, "She jipped us buddy, out of $500,000."
When I’m old and feeble in a wheelchair, I want a nurse that looks like Kelly
Or you can use a man in your life
@@wgcds7jyg897 …I am a man… I don’t swing that way 😡
Kelly is now in a weelchair😢
Feeble ? You talk weird
@@Addie-j6f It’s a word, look it up.
Would have been nice if you ran the entire skit instead of cutting off the end.
It's just advertisement. They want you to subscribe.
I don't know about you guys. But I really like PEGGY'S voice. AL..... 🤣😂🤣
Ed O'Neil looks awesome with white hair like that. Peggy is just evil in this episode lol 😂
Leave me! 🤣🤣🤣
Ah, the classics!
5:15 that dog is adorable. Reminds me of my childhood rescue. A beautiful taffy white cocker spaniel mix that was abandoned at a duplex up the street for a week. Tethered to the railing. We took her and brought her to the vet. We called her Schatzi . It means Sweetheart in German. She was the sweetest dog.
The exact meaning of the word “Schatzi” in the German language is jewel, gem, or treasure. Other variations of this term include “Schatz”, “Schatzilein”, “Schätzchen”. In the German language, schatzi is used in a similar way that we use English words “darling,” “sweetie,” "sweetheart," or “honey
Such a lovely name for a lovely dog ❤
Oh that was so epic!
I was al bundy i love the revenge Al bundy got from Peggy
Uncle Eugene should've been named Ted
Awe you can't buy that for half a million bucks
Al looks like Moses coming down from Mt. Sinai.
"Leave me."
The greatest show...EVER.💯
In this episode AL looks much like Kevin McCarthy. I thought that was McCarthy being bottle fed.
What comes around, goes around!
Peggy so had this one coming
"LEAVE ME!"
That was aunt Zelda from Sabrina the teenage witch
Yup Beth Broderick.
Wait, why was Peg so happy in later episodes when she and Marci both got pregnant at the same time.
That was another season, and canonically the pregnancy never happened. It was a dream.
@@edwardgaines6561 because Katey Sagal lost her baby and they didn't want to put her through a fake pregnancy.
@@njpubadjuster3710 Very thoughtful! There's no way they could replace Katey Sagal like they did Aunt Viv! No way!
Katey Sagal was actually pregnant at the time but had a miscarriage
They tried to make Al look older but he looks like he about to join Sugar Ray! 🤣
This is my second favorite episode, after the tasty tots one...
Al looks great with blond hair.
Dude... on the thumbnail al bundy (ed whatshisname) REALLY looks like Matthew McConnaheigh
Hey, that's the aunt from Sabrina!
"LLLeeaavvee MMmmeeee" LOL
Why Al looks younger with white hair 🤣
People forget how controversial this show was when it premiered in 1987. I am not sure the wokeists would like the show today. It would most likely be cancelled.
It was delightfully crude, but without the Internet and social media most folks gave up in those days.
It wasn't controversial when I watched in the UK back then. It was broadcast late at night, so maybe that had something to do with it. But it wasn't really considered that controversial, just a funny sitcom back then.
The 60s had Mary Tyler Moore, the 70s had All In the Family, and the 80s and 90s had Married With Children. That was about the end of controversial TV sitcoms. At least successful ones.
@@trolledyouso1307 You guys had Benny Hill and some other shows that were also considered controversial here in the US. The United States has always had a stick up its asses.
@@maxxxmodelz4061 That's so funny to me because back in the 70s and 80s when the Benny Hill show was on, it was broadcast as a family show. I used to watch it as a young kid in the 80s, lol.
The kind of 'bawdy' humour in Benny Hill was seen as 'acceptible' and just a bit tongue-in-cheek, similar to the 'Carry On' movies (if you're familiar with those), which were also often broadcast on network TV, usually mid-day on the weekends, for the children to watch.
Damn Sabrina's grandma got that yummo voice !
Hello Auntie Zelda lol
This was from the episode "And Baby Makes Money ".
LEAVE ME!!
Absolute gold 😂😂😭😭😭😭😭😭
"Tomorrow I'll shrink all her clothes"
My baby oven, lol ha ha ha.
Al it’s planting time
His over sized shirt lol
2:31 *THE EPITOME OF WHAT A 'REAL' 10 IS*
How dare you put Lucky instead of Buck at the end 🤨
Except for being underweight, Al looks like Archie Bunker.
Was anybody else like: " Is that Matthew McConaughey?" when looking at the thumbnail...
You cut out the whole bit about Al was going to shrink Peggy's clothes.
Matthew McConaughey
I thought that was Matthew McConaughey in the thumbnail 😄
He got her good
"I was Al Bundy" xd Im done xd
