And the fact that the writers never tried to make them the same cookie-cutter person was a credit to the show’s writers. They were unique in their own ways, and it made them well loved by Married With Children fans.
Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! 🎶🐾😸🎸🎻. Can't tell who's who, what's what or where's where of who I am anymore! Jefferson D'arcy had some fun. Homewrecker Bon Bons!
Jefferson was my favorite on this show. He's such a good comedic actor! The fact that his character is also the Pretty Boy just made the show even more hilarious! 🤣
I've watched every episode countless times and still laugh... awesome Script, Direction and Acting - you can tell that these people were enjoying themselves and loving the 'work 'they did.
I liked Steve but I loved watching Jefferson always laughing behind the back & agreeing with Al while Steve was a "goodie two shoes" always moral with Marcy
I sure love this show!...this show and a handful of other's were hilarious from this era of late 80's early 90's!...at least these clip's are on you tube, well, for now anyway!
I loved the show, it was extremely funny. Jefferson was a great replacement, usually replacements don't work out and the show suffer's but not in this case, the show remained strong. I do wish Steve had stayed for a few more seasons because he was a great character also.
David Garrison left the series because he wanted to go back to theater acting, but he returned occasionally every so often, so it wasn’t on bad terms. He almost got to be on a spinoff sitcom centered around Bud’s college.
I remember Jefferson more because I grew up with the later episodes but they’re both different & well written characters and they both left their mark on the show 🤝
In my opinion, the episode where Jefferson is in the pinstripe suit, pimpin' Kelly's pool skills, is the definition of his character. Alpha Beta alumni- Revenge of the Nerds!
I used to watch this when i was like 4 or 5 I never understood the humor or even what was going on, but for some reason I remember responding to Jefferson's character. Lol.
It's funny how you can divide the show between the Steve years and the Jefferson years. I liked Steve. I wonder how different the show might have been if he'd stayed. But Jefferson was a lot of fun.
Peggy: "Hi! What you doing?" Marcy: "Oh, it's just a long, boring story." Al: "Does it end with weird degenerate perverts?" Marcy: "Oh, so you heard this one. Bye!" 😹😹😹😹😹👍👍👍👍👍!!!!!
Ah, Jefferson. The man that made Marcy gain a little bit of newfound respect for Al, since she and he were the ones working while their spouses sat at home looking pretty and actively trying to not do much else. But to his credit, Jefferson did at least do a little bit more - even if sometimes that meant trying to scam people.
Peg was completely useless compared to Jefferson... Marcy kept him because he was good looking and great in bed... but Marcy ended up marrying a mix of Al with Peg lol like a comment above cleverly pointed it out.
"In a homeless person's shopping cart"... "REALLY? How do you keep it from rolling?" 😂😂😂
That brings a new definition to bonafide freaks! Giggity😂😂😂😂
Jefferson is no Steve & Steve is no Jefferson... they're both badass!!!!! I love these two!!!!!!!!!
Great comment!!! Both were excellent in their roles years apart!
And the fact that the writers never tried to make them the same cookie-cutter person was a credit to the show’s writers. They were unique in their own ways, and it made them well loved by Married With Children fans.
Steve did Darcy wrong, no matter
It’s cool that those two canonically interacted.
Happy birthday Ted McGinley. His Jefferson D'Arcy character really made the show shine in the later part of it's run.
Truth, and thank you for the acknowledgement.
Totally great guy
Agreed. Steve wasn't worse, just different, if you know what I mean.
So true!
Agreed
Jefferson: Al, you gotta help me. I have done something terrible.
Al: I know, I was at the wedding.
How was Al at the wedding when they got married drunk and don't even remember it?
If I remember right, didn't they get married "for real" in Al's backyard?
@@thehurriblank1228 Yeah. The guests were Bud's soccer team, and the priest was out to sea.
😂😂😂😂
I love when Al insults Marcy and Jefferson is in the background always laughing
''you best watch it al if you wants to keep comin over!!! - jefferson, after being caught laughing about marcy, by marcy.
Jefferson always laughing behind Marcys back at Al's jokes always got me laughing.
The best sitcom on earth will never be an other one like this show. Whoever was the writer they are amazing
I love how Jefferson marrying Marcy made her full name Marcy Darcy.
Everybody on this show deserved Emmy’s for their performances
Jefferson laughed at Al's jokes more than Steve when Al made fun of Marcy..😂
Even this part made me laugh 😹👍:
Al: "Marcy, let me explain something to you:
BWAK BWAK BWAK BWAK BWAK BWAK BWAK BWAK BWAK BWAK BWAK BWAK..."
proper gigolo 😅😂🤣🙃😉
This is why Jefferson wins 😂
Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! 🎶🐾😸🎸🎻. Can't tell who's who, what's what or where's where of who I am anymore!
Jefferson D'arcy had some fun.
Homewrecker Bon Bons!
18 minutes aren’t enough for a Jefferson best of
Jefferson D'arcy injected new life to MWC. He was awesome. 🤘🤘
and ya know, he dont mind prancin it with the voters!
Z😅
Well said! 👍
Letting David Garrison go back to theater was one of the best decisions ever made during this series.
One of the few times that adding a character didn't ruined the show
He is a severely underrated actor. He killed it in almost every appearance of this show.
Reve
Revenge of the nerds
Jefferson was my favorite on this show. He's such a good comedic actor! The fact that his character is also the Pretty Boy just made the show even more hilarious! 🤣
Happy birthday,Ted McGinley!
A great actor!
Just realised, he looks like Rob Lowe
Happy Birthday dude
I haven't seen him long-time 😕
Peg: WHAAAAAAAAAA Now I'm blind too!!!! LMAO
I'm dead with this hahahaha
The best sitcom ever can't duplicate
JEFFERSON! 🤘
- Al's OG BFF (Steve never was)
- Marcy's freeloading male gigolo / secret agent man
- Perfect hair and nails 💅
Al has found his Barney Rubble; something Steve was not.
- The Nudie Bar
- NO MA'AM
😺👍

The D'Arcy Files the best one. Jefferson for sure brought life into this show Married With Children(MWC) he was awesome.
Also it’s Ted’s birthday Happy Birthday Mr. Ted McGinley 🥳🎂
Jefferson was the perfect addition to a already great running 🏃♀️ vehicle. He kept up well with the atmosphere of the show!
Jefferson was the cherry on top
I love how sketchy Jefferson was. He was just like the Bundys😂
''aaal, get me some bonbons.''
''getemyourself'' i always die from the quickness of that reply along with the expression.
Happy Birthday, Ted McGinley. You did a great job playing the character of Jefferson D'Arcy. You were awesome and had a great sense of humor!
Happy 65 Birthday Ted McGinley
How are you doing
Ted Mcginley was super hilarious
He fitted in perfect in the show
Epic ‘
I've watched every episode countless times and still laugh... awesome Script, Direction and Acting - you can tell that these people were enjoying themselves and loving the 'work 'they did.
He was an excellent addition he was AL’s ride or die 😊😊
01:31 😂 gotta love how they connected on the shopping cart lol
Marcy did not like it😂
when the darcy's copy the bundy's that episode was 1 of the goatest of all sitcom history.
“Just stand there and look pretty.”
🤣
4:06 - Katey Sagal had the best screams lol
😍
She's awesome
"Mom, Dad, wait" 🤣🤣🤣...Im dying
I love Jefferson. So hilarious
Ted Mcginley is very handsome
Jefferson was so cool
I love it wen' he replace steve
him and al were a fine team together
The Ted McGinley hair of 1989 which many guys were sporting back then, me included! I was 20 then!
That was cool. I’ve never seen them play Peg and Al and I thought I’ve seen it all. Missed that episode somehow.
I liked Steve but I loved watching Jefferson always laughing behind the back & agreeing with Al while Steve was a "goodie two shoes" always moral with Marcy
The Green Ranger of Married With Children!
I'm blind! I'm blind!
You know.., she did a few scenes in a couple of her movie (Fright Night for 1) where she's pretty Dang hoy
Amanda Bearse is a smokeshow, but Marcy is a chicken.
peggy,now im blind too
14:04 top 5 joke from this show. Delivered beautifully 😂
I love Jefferson Darcey....he was very very good....very funny......I liked him a lot....😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
I sure love this show!...this show and a handful of other's were hilarious from this era of late 80's early 90's!...at least these clip's are on you tube, well, for now anyway!
Happy 65th birthday
The grossest , funniest thing I ever seen 😂 Jefferson Vs Steve 👏🏻
Jefferson just amazing
McGinley is an underrated actor. Always preferred the Jefferson character to Steve
I loved the show, it was extremely funny. Jefferson was a great replacement, usually replacements don't work out and the show suffer's but not in this case, the show remained strong. I do wish Steve had stayed for a few more seasons because he was a great character also.
additional characters usually dont work out neither, but griff is 1 of the goats.
David Garrison left the series because he wanted to go back to theater acting, but he returned occasionally every so often, so it wasn’t on bad terms. He almost got to be on a spinoff sitcom centered around Bud’s college.
The husband of Marcy D'Arcy!
Jefferson was always funny since he seemed to be the perfect mix of Peggy and Al
I always liked Jefferson better cause he seemed to care more about Marcy
He cared about her money
Well if Marcy died even Jefferson knew the life insurance would be gone in a month. He cared about her because she kept the money rolling in.
He cared more about her money than anything
I remember Jefferson more because I grew up with the later episodes but they’re both different & well written characters and they both left their mark on the show 🤝
Al Bundy the creator of
My eyes my eyes I'm blind... Friends copy the concept 😂
It was a thing before AL Bundy came along.
AL screaming "My Eyes" when he's not even in the room...lol
Happy Birthday Ted McGinley!!
Funny how that fox sitcom joke is still relevant today 😂😂
Marcey was a freak🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yet, she always knocked Peg.
Eisenhower's VP was Tricky Dicky Nixon.
Peg if your life was any easier, you'd be in an urn ⚱ in the garage 😂🤣😂🤣
Which episode is with role-play part? It's hilarious 🤣😂
Jefferson was an awesome side kick for Al
Steve and jefferson both rocked it
In my opinion, the episode where Jefferson is in the pinstripe suit, pimpin' Kelly's pool skills, is the definition of his character. Alpha Beta alumni- Revenge of the Nerds!
Marcy and Jefferson role playing Al & Peg was hilarious.
I have always preferred Jefferson.
How are you doing today
He is sooo Gorgeous 🏆🌟
I used to watch this when i was like 4 or 5 I never understood the humor or even what was going on, but for some reason I remember responding to Jefferson's character. Lol.
One of the best shows ever and the actors involved thought it wouldn't work.
When you're good you are good.
👍👍👍
how do you keep it from rolling ? LoL
😂😂😂😂😂 .. BEST SHOW EVER ... 😂💯👍🏾
It's funny how you can divide the show between the Steve years and the Jefferson years. I liked Steve. I wonder how different the show might have been if he'd stayed. But Jefferson was a lot of fun.
Jefferson was always my favorite on MWC. Idk why everybody likes Steve better
Jefferson is a legend
If the bass player from Smashing Pumpkins married Jefferson she'd be D'arcy D'arcy.
My favorite role model
Man the good old days of sitcom. Married with children, Rosanne, Mr. Belvedere, Silver spoons, Charles in Charge, ALF, etc.
They nailed the Al and Peg roles
Peggy: "Hi! What you doing?"
Marcy: "Oh, it's just a long, boring story."
Al: "Does it end with weird degenerate perverts?"
Marcy: "Oh, so you heard this one. Bye!"
😹😹😹😹😹👍👍👍👍👍!!!!!
Kelly: Hey, mom, dad, come back!
It's hilarious that Al doesn't even know the current President when this show was on (Clinton IIRC).
If game of throne were in the 90s, he would have been a perfect jaime lanister 😊
They do look a lot alike don't they
Ah, Jefferson.
Amanda was probably thinking if only i had two women fighting over me like this.
Happy birthday Jefferson and keep looking for a job Lol 😂 i hope you never have to work, Marci love you
How do you keeping from rolling Lol 😂
Happiest 🎉 birthday 🥳 birthday 🎂
Jefferson was Great i thought he was 100% funnier than Steve,. Jefferson was cool too!! I love that show!!
Steve was the best but to be honest Jefferson was a very amazing replacement
Jefferson > Steve
Jefferson

@@CreftonCloydhell yes! Team Jefferson all the way!
Steve is goated!!
The one with the fbi agent didn't play all the way. Jefferson playing April fools joke
I personally believe they could've started a reboot with Ashton Kutcher playing Jefferson 😂😂😂
"Interesting choisky comrade..."...lol
Eisenhower!😂
Before Family Guy there was Married with Children 😂
Amanda was such a good actress
She was a big part about why the series was so good, especially in the later years.
Happy birthday

There were more of him u had to add to the video!🇮🇱🕎✡️
