If you remember, these were two great teams of equal strength. the score was tied 0-0 when the two bull elephants collided, leaving only one elephant standing....Al Bundy. I'm assuming the 4 TD game was against someone like Chester A Arthur High

I used to watch this show as a kid, but it wasn't until I got a lot older when I started to understand the joke. I know more than a few people who are like this.
It amazes me how many guys loved this show but don't really get it - their comments are so fucking DUMB like" woah Al he sticks it to the fat feminists" - er newsflash he's an actor playing a part Ed O'Neill came from this kind of background so he knew guys like this- but he's not just some loud mouthed klutz sharing his views with the world.He's a skilled professional. .

The greatest accomplishment might be he gets to be Sofia Viagra's husband now for over 11 years in Modern Family. Getting to look at those hooters all the time is a epic accomplishment.
I am not a fan of Modern Family but I am glad that Ed O'Neil was able to find another show to be a part of that became successful.
Married with Children did negatively impact his care for a few years after the show was over.
