Honestly, every time I watched this show back in the day, only one thing came to mind. How can a shoe salesman afford that house, a wife, two children and a dog? But seriously, how in real life would he be able to pay for a house like that? I was obsessed with that question.
He was house poor. That was one of the main story lines. They never had food or a nice car but he was always complaining about his mortgage. Basically his entire paycheck was going to the house, and keep in mind home loans were easier to come by back in the day.
In my opinion, this was one of the few (if only) decent episodes from season 11. Unfortunately, Married with children ended on a bit of a low note. If it was canceled after season 10 *with a scripted finale,* fans like me would have been glad.
The last episode of the show was a terrible send off imo. Felt like a regular episode instead of a season finale, and it wasn't particularly funny either
@@2breborn247 The "Kelly's wedding" episode had a slight "finale" feel to it. From what I know, the last aired episode was the "bartering" episode, which was actually an unaired holdover after the show was cancelled, and was never intended to be the season (or series) finale.
