They all look delicious definitely trying but one tip whenever you remove the lid of a can if you do not completely remove it it can be a trap for a little animal looking for food

So gotta get some more!🤗 I used to make the corn flapjacks with corn in them on Saturday mornings for mom and dad. Now I like to make cornbread with blueberries or with bacon pieces and cheese, both as cornbread or muffins. YUUMM!

I think i invented the pancake muffin in the mid 80's when about a dozen people passed out at my place and I was trying to figure out a way to feed them breakfast the next morning [*]. The only thing I had even close to enough for a dozen servings was pancake mix - and not near enough of that. So I mixed Jiffy with the pancake mix (2 parts pancake mix - 1 part Jiffy) and cooked the batter in muffin tins. Heavy drizzle of syrup and they're pretty good. * - The passing out was a gradual process and we had many deserters as the End Times descended upon us, The Loyalist troops, with willing spirit but failing flesh, faded away in a protracted surrender between 2-4am. So, technically, it was lunch the next afternoon. But Einstein has thoroughly proven that time is relative, so I have precedent in declaring it was breakfast for us.

We’re all the way out in California and love Jiffy Corn Mix raised our kids on it we didn’t have microwaves or other things we now have it was iron skillets all the way. I love your ideas on the different ways to use Jiffy that I’d never thought of thank you!
I live in southern Michigan, but discovered Jiffy in Virginia, in my college days. No jiffy in my pantry now. My sister tweaked an old Cornbread recipe till it was perfect, so we make it from scratch. But I have such fond memories of Jiffy mixes from my college days and my 20s. They made enough to share with my roommate, and maybe one or two added girls from the dorm. Those Jiffy mixes were so handy. I didn't need a kitchen stocked with flour, corn meal, baking powder, etc. Perfect for cafeteria-eaters who occasionally needed to bring a side dish (or who wanted a little cake).
Yes I do have jiffy cornmeal probably about 3 or 4 boxes so you know I have to get some more, because I like using the cornmeal for savory meals and desserts 😃😃😃

I made a good recipe using jiffy corn muffin mix, and ground turkey, or if you prefer you can use ground beef, or ground Chuck, a can of chili with no beans, chopped-up onions and green peppers, and large bag of shredded cheese, your choice, and a pack of taco seasoning mix cook the corn bread according to the box, while the cornbread is cooling off make your chilli taco meat mixture, cook your meat onions and green peppers first, until the onions and green peppers are soft and translucent if your meat has grease in it you want to drain it unless you're using the ground turkey add the can of chili with no beans, add the taco seasoning mix, but do not add the shredded cheese or block cheese to shred, let the taco meat mixture cool off then spread it on top of the cornbread that's already done, sprinkle on your shredded cheese as much as you want put in the oven on 375 to melt shredded cheese and to heat up the food about 20 minutes keep an eye on it so the cheese will not burn let's set and cut into squares p.s. I forgot to add you can also use ground chicken instead of the ground turkey, or the ground beef, or ground chuck, if that's what you prefer salt and pepper is optional because the taco seasoning has enough salt in it

I grew up on Jiffy. I was sad to hear it is GMO, and contains glyphosate. Can’t use it.
I'm from Michigan too, about 30 minutes from Chelsea where Jiffy is made.
Instead of sour cream I used baked sweet potato and swirled it in and baked it. Pumpkin would work too. Yum! About three tablespoons.

I actually made this for Thanksgiving and I added bacon this time. Sooo good, and yea just plop that sour cream in there for some tasty creamy bits!

Anything you make in a crockpot you can make in the oven! I would try 350* for about half an hour and adjust from there!

I got it from Home Depot, it's a Magic Chef brand. Not sure on the watts, it's not super powerful but I liked the look of it lol
