Hi Dan, totally agree with you, this guitar sounds loud, for a small size. I owned the '98 model, till now still playing it. As it aged the tone gets better n better. Just love this guitar.
Thanks for doing the video. I'm thinking about buying one because in addition to all the things you mention, it's nice to be able to play a smaller guitar when, say seated on a soft couch or in a recliner, you can easily drape yourself comfortably over the guitar.
Hi Daniel, thanks for your video! I held the guitar in my hands this very morning in the guitar shop in my town. I fell in love with it: powerful, very well balanced sound, also fantastic when amplified...etc. I haven't decided buying it. I am still doubting as I am a classical guitar player. But as I am into learning some blues and folky stuff... You probably have convinced me...
You're very welcome, Martin! I don't work with Seagull or anything, but all I can say is that this guitar sounds great when it's plugged it. This guitar has some of the best sounding electronics that I've heard in an acoustic guitar. I've recorded with this guitar in the studio, and engineers have mentioned how clean and quiet it sounds. Thanks for watching!
With Seagull/Godin, not only you get a hand made North American instrument built from quality components, you get it at a price that is really affordable. I have a Coastline 12 string, this Entourage Rustic Grand and also the little Merlin and the three are just perfect. No flaws whatsoever. Got rid of my Taylor and I don't think about getting a Martin anymore. Quebec luthiers know their stuff and are respecting their clients unlike many american brands that are selling sub-par mexican made instruments at big prices.
Canadian companies make great guitars! My friend has a guitar by a company called Larrivée, and it sounds really fantastic. It's been through a lot of wear and tear, but it's still holding up great lol. Thanks for watching!
Enjoyed your video & your humor. Honestly......I bet you could make any guitar sound great. :-) Having said that, I do like that Seagull guitar. Will have to give it a look.....if I can find one !
Just played the seagull coastline, also a parlor guitar. May I say wow??? This guitar is comparable to the taylor GS mini koa, but for a much more affordable price. I would say it's even better because of it's ability to tune
I like this guitar because it has that "expensive" sound and feel, but it's affordable at the same time. I've played through $200 amplifiers that sound almost as good as $1,000 amplifiers.. Sometimes the price tag doesn't matter, you know? Thanks for watching!
Thanks so much!!!! Been considering getting this one for a while.... your review was so helpful in making a decision!
Really? Nice! That's really good to hear.. It's a nice little acoustic. I like it a lot.. Thanks for watching!
Daniel Rettberg Peter Got one. Love it. Thanks again! Happy Playing!!
Really?? Awesome! I'm glad you like it. Cheers!

You're welcome! Yeah, it's great.. I do that exact same thing sometimes. Thanks for watching!
Well your Orange crush amp review was spot on so I'm going to heed your suggestion for this acoustic too! Will keep my eye out for one.
Wow, thank you so much! That means a lot to me.. I'm doing the best I can. It's nice when someone appreciates what you do. Thanks for watching!

Jayant Shukla Thank you so much! I really appreciate it.
I bought a maritime sws concert hall. Absolutely love it. I also have a full sized entourage. Probably wouldn't go any smaller than the CH.
Nice review and killer picking I won’t one thanks 👍🏻
Thanks a lot, man! I really appreciate that.. Hope this gave you a good idea of what this guitar sounds like.
I heard "Downtown" there...First class player! Great guitars...

Why isn’t this guitar on the site
What is it that you play around 1:57? By the way, great video!
Thanks man! It’s called Mediterranean Sundance by Al Di Meola.
