This and the review of Carnival Zombie are some of my favorite reviews. I love the back-and-forth talking, the clear comparisons, and the mentions of their favorite parts compared to the other games. I love this duo! Please keep making more reviews!
Thank you so much! This one and Carnival Zombies are great games. We love doing reviews and I think we will be doing a lot more coming up!
You guys are great... hope to see more!
Thank you! We love doing it!
I thought I didn't like Zombicide but love Marvel and now I'm kind of mad that I have to track down some KS stuff online. I hope the X-Men box goes retail.
It's supposed to, definitely. Speaking as an all-in backer, I really wish they'd just make it all available in print.

You can't stack damage through your turn on the same zombie. You have to be able to kill on a single attack action.
if that's what you meant
Yeah that's what I meant. It's just not like the former zombicides where you had to have a specific weapon that did two damage. You couldn't take two hits from a one damage weapon.
I really like that aspect.
Hi any idea if Hero Ressistance will be available in Europe ??
Zombies have flavors. Like Baskin Robbins.
I won't lick a zombie to find out their flavor...just sayin'
did you actually how the markers in reverse? hahahahahahha over de numbers
That dial and font is way too tiny….
Yep those dials needed more creativity put into'em. If I keep the game those will get replaced / upgraded!
@J Potter Same goes for the character cards. Are the KS versions more improved??
@@bayareamasto Find out when the KS arrives I guess .... !
@@bayareamasto no, the character cards are the same, but the kickstarter edition has trays to put them and the bystanders and traits in.
@@bayareamasto The KS setup is different, has plastic tray dashboards that various bits go into, and a slider/track instead of the dials in this retail game.
Besides the theme it's just Zombicide again. sigh
It is and it isn't!
You might know some of what I'm saying here. Nonetheless, I'll say it anyway! If you've played the different core games through their evolution, you'd see how mechanics have changed. Going from Black Plague and Green Horde to Invader, for example, contains some hefty changes that make the games flow better. BP/GH can slog hard in the beginning because the game promotes turtling and searching. Invader utilizes the focus-fire rule to help speed things along. 2.0 uses the Abomination deck mechanic for easy insertion and variety, and there's a lot more for all the games.
One mechanic that's central to Marvel Zombies that I really love is the removal of finding the perfect weapon for the character you select-it's already built in!
@@nt4games finding weapons, searching items, trading items, combining items is actually my favorite part of zombicide. Hero traits really doesnt matter in marvel zombies. You want to power up more than getting hero traits
I gotta say, I greatly disagree. Marvel is my favorite IP and Zombicide is my favorite game, yet this left us feeling flat. The characters don't really feel all that different (Wasp is the exception), the Zombie heroes get monotonous quickly, and the board is so small it is easy to get overwhelmed by unlucky draws. We never made it to red with a single character before finishing the missions. We are all-in on the KS so we are hoping the additional variety and greater quantity will fix these issues, but this is the only version of Zombicide we have failed to love.
I see what you mean. I'm hoping like you there's a lot more variety when the KS box comes.
