Depends what you’re after in the game - Dice Throne is fun for battling it out with groups, tons of expansions and characters to use, it ran thin for our group quite quick! Champions probably has most replay ability for me, it’s co-op but has plenty to keep you going with characters/expansions. The advantage for Heroes Resistance is its stand alone and won’t mean you end up buying a load more games, and is more a board game than the others.
So Iron Man activates, which means he chases after the heroes like a zombie with his actions, then once his activation is over he checks range for his ability!
@@WoodyREC Oh i thought it goes, activation does one movement. Activation #2 checks if heroes are in range then attacks if not, moves instead. It goes one activation does two actions. Oh snaps if hes next to you its like a range 0 double hit :(
It’s definitely not the clearest haha basically he doesn’t have range unless he’s checking at the end of his Activation via the card (which is after both Actions have been taken)
I also really like this game😅...let me explain. I even have all the hero character cards from the kickstarter xmen resistance and the hero zombies spawn cards. To get them I had to pause a video and screenshot the cards then print and play. Another RUclipsr who has access to Mavel Zombies did a playthrough from a PC . Playing this game is fun but beating the same 4 hero zombies did get stale after a while so those extra 6 zombies from that playthrough helps so now I have a total of 10 zombies 2 spawn. For the minatures I just used X-men United but any will do fine.
That’s a great idea, we’ve been playing it a ton so extra characters sounds good! Do hope we get X-Men Resistance soon, some great sculpts! New maps would be interesting too!
@@WoodyREC yep same...about the tiles I play using 6 tiles. I had to scan my tiles to do so 😅 and I'm glad I did. For my experience it allows more zombies on the board and you have that urgency to not mess up cause if you do they will group up and it's game over.
This was a a bit more helpful then another video I watched. I think the only thing wrong (I am probably am with what I'm about to say) but can't Wasp move spaces for 1 point even with zombies? I have started one round and not read all the hero cards but I think she is the only one who can. Ty for the walkthrough and I picked it up due to being a marvel/Spider-Man fan
Not to mention that the standees are just regular zombies so you could use the minis from second edition
Awesome & easy video. I appreciate it. I plan on playing this on my channel but lol 1st needed help learning how to play it.
Glad I could be any help, will try check out your video! Shout if you need anything!
My local store has marvel zombies: heroes resistance, champions, dice throne, and damage control. Which one should I pick up?

@@WoodyREC thanks! I'm gonna be playing by myself basically. I'm always alone. What would be best for that?
Wouldent only cap go into the building to fight and ironman woukd stay outside to attack inside since its line of site and one zone away?

So he should attack since zone 0 is also in LOS
@@Kondi17 He will only use his range attack at range 1-2, and took his activations to move.
On the KS were 2 base games, one to play as the zombies and another as the heroes

Glad I could be any help 😊 you’re 100% right with Wasp, so if I forgot that yes she should be able too!
first!
