  • Do you know the BEST way to set up color management in Davinci Resolve to get the most out of your Apple LOG footage?
All great grades starts with correct color management. If you get it wrong, you could be in for a bag of hurt.
So let me show you how a professional colorist would set everything up in Davinci Resolve. It's simple, and very effective, and it will guarantee that you get the most out of your footage.

Hey, this was an amazing tutorial. My only question really is that are you going to be doing more tutorials on this topic because I really wanted to see if I could start grading in Apple log but like kind of making that cinematic look and just kind of getting the most crisp image when grading it’s like the saturation always just looks too much and causes noise. Whenever I use a lot. It doesn’t look like an expensive camera which I see a lot of people making it look like if you search up short film iphoen

I hope to do a video soon about matching iPhone Log and drone footage in D-Log. It's all about a good starting point (good exposure, enough light), and then making sure to use the correct colormanagement. Also don't expect to push phone and drone footage as much due the smaller sensors. Hope that helps a bit. Thanks for watching.

    How you export it?

You can export it like any other LOG footage, to Rec.709, gamma 2.4 or what ever you need. The most important thing is getting the colormanagent right to begin with. Hope that helps.
